...And this just got weird again.
That pregnant rumour that's going around is complete bull btw. Complete and utter horse sh*t.

If she did get pregnant - it would be close to the end if not the epilogue of ME3.
I hope so.
Also I hope it's only possible to get her (or any other female LI) pregnant if you were faithful. What does that mean?
Prerequesites for 3 different characters:
Ashley
- must be romance in ME
- must not be broken up in ME2
- romance must be continued in ME3
Tali
- NO romance allowed in ME
- must be romance in ME2
- no break up somewhere between ME2 / ME3
- romance must be continued in ME3
New female character in ME3 / character you couldn't romance before
- must be romance in ME3
- no romance active in ME / ME2
Something like that ... it just shouldn't be that easy like getting a romance. But ...

She wouldn't get pregnant at all. Female marines are encouraged to take birth control, and even if she didn't, I think Ashley would be very sensible.

As I said before - I read it once. Could be a 100% hoax.

Right now I'm just wondering what and how much we'll see of her in ME3. My money is still on "permanent squadmember and story relevant character".
Therefore I hope we'll see Ash early in game. I have several wishes for that reunion:
- Ashley & Shepard have a chance to talk about what happened since Horizon
- Ashley should tell what she had in her mind when she met Shepard on Horizon
- I do NOT want to see some sappy "I'm sorry scene". It doesn't fit to neither Shepard nor Ashley
- A "paragon option" that continues their relationship (if there was any) as well as a "renegade option" that will end the relationship (making things official, if you got another LI - unless you want to see another catfight)
And yep, that's just the stuff I'd like to see in the first third of the game so you can explore your relationship in the rest of the game.
Does Ashley approve?

Shepard: *walks out of shower, drying hair+face off with a towel. Ashley at his desk* Ashley...
Ashley: We need to talk.
Shepard: I couldn't agree more - but why now?
Ashley: I want to get this out of the way. The reapers are attacking and I don't want this to get us distracted.
Shepard: No - I mean NOW just as I'm coming out of the shower without a shirt on...
Ashley: ... conicidence.
Shepard: ...
Ashley: *blush*
Shepard: *smirking slightly*
Ashley: Ok - I admit I was appreciating some of the finest damn abs in the 'verse.
Shepard: Ashley... -.- *facepalm*
Ashley: Not yours.
Shepard: WHAT?!
Ashley: Kidding.
lol.

Ashley: Skipper ... seriously. We can't go any further than we had already - and we should even go back one or two steps.
Shepard: Don't know - Ash, if you think we should take a break ...
Ashley: Not a break. It's ... just ... I'm sorry. Things could get complicate. We both know that.
Shepard: It's okay. You're right, we need to set things back.
Ashley: I knew you would understand.
Shepard: All I understand is, that our feelings could endanger our mission. I know we can't go further as long as the galaxy is at the brink of its destruction.
Ashley: So you're okay with it ?
Shepard: Do I have a choice?
Ashley: No. Not this time, Skipper ...

I'm sorry
You dialogue started a bit more serious than it ended - therefore I wrote that part.
Somehow I can imagine BW is pulling that one out of the cylinder. I dunno why, but I have a feeling something like that might happen. Poor Ash, poor Shepard, true. They're both soldiers and they know when they need to focus on their job ...
Still I think it comes close to reality. Could you keep a relationship running when knowing there are thousands of people dying each day because you're not focused on your job? I'm talking about a "normal" war and your actions could save thousands ...
Wha'ever. Morality dilemma anyone?

If Ashley rejects Shepard in ME3 he's gonna spend his free-time crying to Kelly about how he hasn't got laid in three years whilst eating ice cream. D:
Shepard: SO THIS IS WHAT MY LIFE HAS COME TO!?
Kelly: You can change Shepard and get back on your feet again.
Shepard: But...Ashley...she's looking sooo damn fine. I want. But she says "Nooooo...You can't have."
Kelly: You have other great things.
Shepard: ...*Sobs happily*....My fish.
Kelly: Oh sh*t! I'll be right back. No suicide attempts while I'm gone mister. *Runs away* Sh*t, sh*t, sh*t I forgot about the fish!

Haha - poor fishes ^^
Actually, Ash & Shepard don't break up their relationship in my short dialogue. They're going a step back to the stage they had before sex - pretending it never happened to reduce physical stress ...
Nope, that doesn't make much sense ...
Wha'ever. Never had to take a "break of a relationship" and I certainly won't do.

Shepard: Thank god. Some f*cking peace and quiet!
Ashley: My, my, Skip. You've become foul-mouthed.
Shepard: I've always been foul-mouthed... just, not in english.
Ashley: Right. *nods*
Shepard: So, what are you doing tomorrow?
Ashley: Well right now, I'm looking for someone to tear my clothes off and keep me busy for a while. *seductive look towards Shepard* Maybe a certain someone who has a lot of lost time to make up for.
Shepard: *stunned silence* ... dibs.
Ashley: Good answer. *drags him off to loft*

Hey, that's not fair. Those Alliance-soldier-types have needs, especially after three years. Yep....

Garrus: Where's commander Shepard?
Joker: The last thing I heard of him was a "be in vacation" between kisses of Ashley.
Garrus: Did he say when he'll be back?
Joker: Nope.
Garrus: And he didn't say how to contact him while he's in vacation?
Joker: No. EDI, do you know anything?
EDI: Commander Shepard set DnD-mode for the next six months.
Joker: Six months?
Garrus: It can't wait that long!
Joker: Why? What is so important, Garrus?
Garrus: Shepard took that allen wrench I need to get my armor off ... and I need to take a leak.
Joker: ...
Garrus: It's a case of emergency!
Joker: *sigh* EDI, try to find out how to contact Shepard.
EDI: Okay ...
*meanwhile*
Shepard: What is that for? An allen key?
Ashley: Ignore! There's only one thing in this room you should NOT ignore *seducing voice*
Shepard: *throws away allen key* You're so right!
To be continued ... ?

Ashley: Sounds like you don't have a care in the world today.
Shepard: The last *looks away and counts silently* seven problems I mentioned are all taken care of, so yea. I'm feeling damn good.
Ashley: So what's the first order of business?
Shepard: Brunch.
Ashley: I meant more along the lines of saving the galaxy, killing bad guys. That sort of thing.
Shepard: I spent a year chasing a rogue spectre, fighting god-only-knows what along the way. Got killed by the collectors, resurrected to stop them - and I won't deny that I was seeking a little bit of -
Ashley: Retribution?
Shepard: Was gonna say revenge, but that works. Then I got **** dumped on me at Earth and so on and so on. I think I DESERVE a f*cking break! Or at least a few hours of peace and quiet, and maybe a Guinness.
Ashley: You really need to relax.
Shepard: You suggesting something, LT?
Ashley: Maybe...

Hackett: It is important, Anderson.
Anderson: I know, I know. But we really should give him a rest.
Hackett: I wish the galaxy wouldn't depend on him that much, but can't do anything against it. He's a hero, an icon.
Anderson: That doesn't mean the galaxy can bother him all around the glock. He needs a rest. For at least a few weeks.
Hackett: The galaxy can't wait that long.
Anderson: The galaxy owes Shepard everything. I say no, Admiral.
Hackett: It's just one more mission.
Anderson: One more mission could break him. You know him, I know him. He's a friend to both of us. He's exhausted. Didn't you see him when he came back after that hell of a fight?
Hackett: Guess you're right. The galaxy can wait for one or two weeks.
Anderson: Lets make one or two months and I'm fine. Shepard needs his rest. And so does his crew.
Hackett: One last thing, Anderson ...
Anderson: Admiral?
Hackett: We need to get rid of that "no-fraternization-rule" in our protocol. It's still an issue and I guess we owe them something.
Anderson: You're darn right.

Shepley-Babies? If something like this happens in ME3, then it's stuff for an epilogue. I'd love to see one. Actually, the epilogue shouldn't be any shorter than the ME-Prologue ... gives plenty of time to watch the outcome of that war ...

I hope the epilogue doesn't go to show the future, like how Shepard lives then, if he has kids and what will happen to the other important characters, etc. I'd rather they left that to our imagination, since a lot of us already have ideas on how Shepard will spend his later life, whether he'll have kids or not.CptData wrote...

Although it would perhaps be fun if they let you make certain choices in the convo's ingame, that have an impact on what your Sheps future would look like. If they do something like that I might enjoy it, but I'd still rather not see too much after the defeat of the reapers.
