Another thing I want from Ashley in ME1 is to see her have a reputation. the Squadmates in ME2 you ahd to recruit were given great reps, especially Jack. You had the man in charge of her prison literally shaking when you asked about her. I'd like to bring Ashley places and maybe some random merc hides when he sees her coming. Or maybe you mention her at the trial and the judge (s) mention her in either a positive, or a fearful way. That'd be great if she scares the ****** out of some admirals. Maybe give her a cool k=nickname along Ruthless Shepard's "Butcher of Torfan" that's scary and intimidating.

Actually, that's something that seriously bugged me in both ME. Whatever you're doing as Shepard, your reputition doesn't chance a bit. No one fears you more when you go down the renegade path and no one trusts you more when being paragon!Shepard. Basically, every thug points his gun at you and tries to get away with that - would you point a weapon at someone that's a top agent with far more powerful weapons at his/her disposal, not to mention his skills? I certainly wouldn't.

Same of course for your squadmates - so you're right. Ashley should have earned her name already - she's one of the heroes of Citadel ...

I don't think we're going to see a "full reputation system" in ME3 either.
Then again - I'd like to see a reboot of ME in 3 or 4 years. Same story, better engine, more freedom, less story issues (like Horizon) - I would buy that game.

Top Ash. We can't have a page without her! :police:

I like the idea of some cool Ash-kicking action in the cutscenes though!

Ash kicking ass in the cutscenes would be beyond epic! MUST SEE THIS!

@Data; That are some nice Ash pics right there!
A reputation system would be neat feature, but so far I'm not all that bothered by it not really being there in ME1&2.

The Top-Ash seems to be more a modded Shepard, if you ask me. However, it was nicely done. Ashley's twin :D

The reputation system is something I really like to see. Also I'd like to see a more living world - check Oblivion, it is possible to have NPCs walking around and doing their daily work. Static NPCs are kinda "old school". That plus I want to explore even more of the ME-universe are reasons why I'd buy a "rebooted" ME series. Also there's a chance the Shepley-romance will be far deeper and emotional than before

Whatever, we all know this is NOT going to happen. We'll see a new ME trilogy without Shepard, Ashley, Garrus & co first. Maybe with Shepard's child? In that case I hope it's possible to import old ME3 savegames to ensure the child is "shepley"-like :o

A rep system? As in, like the one in Dragon Age: Origins?

Sorry, still kind of noobish to this thread. Gotta learn to read back a page. Lol
But yeah, a rep system as in something that would give Shepard a reputation (maybe even a title) based on his/her actions? That would be nice. However, I think Bioware might end up doing something like that in ME3. All of those paragon/renegade decisions have to add up to something.

I also support a more "alive" Normandy! As in, the NPC's tend to wander around the ship and whatnot.

THIS! ...I've been wanting this feature for a long time, especially aboard the Normandy, I want my crew to walk around the ship, my squaddies to sometimes be working, sometimes sitting in the mess, talking with others, etc.

For the love of god, DON'T MAKE IT LIKE OBLIVION!

That got old quick... the same people, walking the same old routes, saying the same old lines, over and over and over.

I want the NPCs to go about their days... but to NOT always be on the planet every time you go there. Or if they are there, have them doing something different, saying something different, etc.

Ashley: *wisphers* Hey Reed, calm down, it would be better then nothing. Right?

Hah, now you just try and say no to Ashley...

(I really just meant the crew walking about the Normandy though, on the planets..would be asking for a lot)

Sure. It got old over time, but at least the devs tried to simulate a living world. Sure, it is impossible and/or a waste of resources to create a proper daily routine for every single NPC in ME. I don't want to see half of the budget wasted in some detail stuff. They just should have some jobs to do. I can't believe Garrus is spending all day repairing the Mako. Ashley is cleaning weapons? Okay. 24h / day? Not okay.

Why is it not possible to have your crew doing multiple jobs? Example for Ash:

- fixing weapons
- talking in mess hall with random crew members
- talking in the CIC with random crew members
- supporting Garrus with repairs
- ...

Or for Kaidan

- doing the "Kaidan-stuff" (what is he doing by the way?)
- Supporting Joker as helmsman (as seen in intro)
- wandering around, talking to crew members
-

Something like this. Shouldn't be that difficult.

Oblivion tried to create a living world. It wasn't perfect, but at least it felt far more alive than most worlds in ME :(

Honestly though, I'd really already be pleased enough if we don't here the same lines everytime we pass some people who have something to say on the planets.

Otherwise i want Ashley to step up to them: "Look, Volus I get you're a dirty guy..But why are you saying exactly the same every time we walk by? Is this some kind of prank? If so I have some pranks for you too, Mister! Lemme give a hint, they all involve boomsticks!"

UGH! Totally. That Volus was so obnoxious. My main Shep is a Colonist and I wanted him to be able to walk up behind him and push that guy down whenever he started his boasting loop about shorting on pre-fabs.

Well... I gueeeess.

lol

But on the Normandy there should be no excuse for having people sitting and standing in the same damn spot ALL the time. I mean, look at Zaeed... he leans against the wall for the entire game? wtf... yeah, people totally do that. We should see him threatening joker about something... and talking with Grunt about how he's killed hundreds of krogan warriors and complimenting Garrus on his expert calibrating.

So yeah, I totally agree.

*sigh*

Sometimes I wish my fiancee were a bit more like Ash. It's not just the looks, it's the character. Ash is quite straightforward, a woman that could be either a best friend or a lover.
Hate getting into an argument because of a bad decision. Never should have allowed her to get a cat - it drives me mad :-(

To make things "shepley" - do you think Ash is going to have a pet or so? She doesn't like the type for pets. Shepard's fishes are dying quite often ... so he isn't the pet type either. *g*

Actually IMO, I think Ash is a dog type of person. She'd totally have a dog if she had time to take care of it. She'd totally <3 Shepard if he brought home a puppy. lol

I'd agree with Reed here on that she's a dog person...My Shepar'd's more of a cat person though, but seeing as they are on rather a tight schedule and he indeed can't even find time to feed the fish regularly enough..they will refrain from that until they're something like pensioners probably.

@Omega; Yes, all of those kind of lines got obnoxious fast though.

Hmm, maybe. I'm neither a dog nor a cat person. I like animals - but I'm a bad owner. Just don't like having a hobby with liabilities. Whatever, it's not about me, it's about Ash ;)

I can see them both getting a dog when they're older and no longer in active duty. As long as Ash and Shep are active Spectres they simply won't stay long enough on one planet to give a dog a great home. And changing home every two or three months is just bad for the dog :pinched:

Ashley: Who let the dogs out?
Shepard: Woof, woof, woof, woof!
Ashley: *facepalms*

Yeah, I agree! She'd love a good old, loyal German Shepard <3 ----Get it haha. (Fail.) Posted Image

No, but seriously I think that if she had a dog it would be German Shepard. They're army and police dogs. Totally bad-ass. Plus, I have one. Posted Image

"German Shepard"? That's me ... uhh .. wait ... you were talking about "dogs".

It's late - 0:12 here. And I'm tired. Ash just gave me a goodnight kiss and I won't bother you guys anymore for the next 8 hours or so ...

Nah, I picture Ashley with a Kitten at home. Something that could be curious like her and be adorable at the same time XD

Ash: Shotgun!
Shotgun: meow *crawls into her lap*
FShep: you named your kitten shotgun?
Ash: yeah watch this. Shotgun, BOOM
Shotgun: *jumps on Shepard's face*
Shep: AHH! AHH! GET IT OFF! *falls over*
Ash: let's hope the Reapers don't find out a kittne can defeat you, they'll drop tons on Earth.

I was just thinking the other day about how nice it would be if people moved about the ship. Though in the case of squad mates I think it would have to be some what static seeing as I don't want to search the whole ship to find them.
Maybe they could be in their normal spots moving around and then after a main mission they could be some where else then move again after the next one.

That's the worst!
Though cats are evil as are the Reapers so this would explain where they came from.

@ the reboot of ME (mainly cause I only woke up a few minutes ago.)

The first ME was an experiment. Now they know the formula works, I cannot wait for bioware to reboot the universe with up to day graphics.

Not a fan of reboots.... a lot of the time they come with changes to the original story. Meaning, they may decide to not even include Ashley at all and replace her with someone else.
