Sure, but we don't know yet. I just wonder if Ashley (or Kaidan) is going to play a bigger role in that trial. If Shepard had a relationship with her (him), things might get jeopardized. The only thing that prevents Shepard from being sent to jail is a Reaper Invasion. Dunno what's better ...

I go for Pierce this time. We had a lot of Kaine lately, so I'd like to read more about Pierce, Vega and their relationship (if there's any) including Shepley and Joker *g*

But that's what I like about it, Shepards order gets undermined and s/he gets saved because of it. Something that shows he isn't always right.

@Aurora don't forget Ashley!  I like the sound of Pierce and Vega too actually.

*Vega in cargo hold, looking over new supply list.*
Ashley: Anything interesting in the latest shipment, Lieutenant.
Vega: No ma'am. Just the regular refill of food rations, ammunition. Oh - and some new weapons mods that Comma - Major Shepard ordered.
Ashley: New mods? Oh - new frictionless coils if I remember correctly. Am I right?
Vega: Yes. That and incendiary ammo, new sights and a whole lot of other parts.
Ashley: Neat. Looks like I'm in for a bit of fun in the armoury later on.
Vega: Not to try to sound disrespectful ma'am, but you didn't come here to check the mods, did you?
Ashley: No actually, I cam here to talk you to.
Vega: To me?
Ashley: See anyone else named Vega?
Vega: Sorry ma'am, but last time we talks, I remember Shepard threatened to eat my guts for breakfast.
Ashley: *laughs a little* Yea, I'm sorry about that. It's a time-honoured tradition to tease the rookie. Try not to take it personally. It happened to me too, on the first Normandy.
Vega: I'll keep that in mind. So - what do you want to talk about ma'am?
Ashley: Scuttlebutt says you've been getting a little friendly with Commander Pierce, lately.
Vega: Uh - I wasn't aware that was a problem.
Ashley: No - no. Course not. I was just telling you what's been going around.
Vega: Well. Pierce is great. She's nice to talk too. If a little cold, and a chip on her shoulder.
Ashley: Heard you were getting friendly with her a couple weeks ago. Helping her home half-drunk from a night on the bar.
Vega: Are you trying to insinuate something, Ma'am?
Ashley: Nothin' much. I just thought it was very gentlemanly of you.
Vega: I just wondered into a bar and Pierce was sitting there tossing them back. I didn't really think it was a good idea to leave her alone.

Vega: I like talking to Pierce - Yes. And I don't think she's appreciate people talking behind her back.
Ashley: Do you want my advice, James?
Vega: Sure.
Ashley: You like her - don't try to deny it, because it's written all over your face - just go and talk to her.

Ashley: I don't know. Find something. I'll give you a head start - Roxanna likes Visual Arts things and collects old comic books. Go from there.

Shepard: Ash - I don't see a problem here. If Lieutenant Vega is going after Commander Pierce, it's his decision. If she allows him to grow feelings for her, it's her turn to either put him down or give in. The Normandy is an Alliance frigate, but also under Spectre command.
Ashley: ... so you're okay with it?
Shepard: As long as it's not interfering with the mission, yes. Just tell Vega to keep it low, same for Pierce.
Joker: And what are you going to do about me? I know everything and could ...

I've seen that one so many times it has lost its nightmare evoking power, the Ash one was a bit of a shock when I took the screencap, too. (Night, and don't worry Creepy Shep doesn't hide under beds, if you see him offering candy though...run)

and I rather enjoy'd doing this, it's hard to get good pics to make a situation around though.
