its good to talk about Ashley for once im so sick of hearing about multiplayer co-op how annoying that is. anyway enough about that, im hoping you have mission or something that where you get to resolve the whole black listed thing or just something that explores more of her background

Definitely want to have Ash as a significant part of the whole story line and romance for Shephard! I see marriage in their future, assuming they survive the Reaper Invasion, which they will in my game! Go Ash!

i hope so i'm i, looking forward in how they progress her story. but its going to be awkward at the beginning because of Horizon, theres going to be a few insults being traded before making up me thinks:blush:

That's the beauty of the relationship. The insults and jabs lead to some great "make up" sessions! Its a kind of verbal foreplay, actually!

i guess i can agree with that. a little antagonism can be great for a relationship but not to much though

There definitely has to be a line. Enough to get the juices flowing, but not too much, as you have said. :)

You two should read that message Ash wrote after Horizon. The dialogue on Horizon can be considered as break up - that message tries to fix things. But yeah, guess we'll see some kind of reunification scene.

Pierce: I really think this was a bad idea.
Shepard: Why do you say that? Food, booze, friends, dubstep music. Seems like a perfectly good idea to me.
Ashley: Why not just sit back and enjoy your drink?
Pierce: I wasn't exactly in a bar-hopping mood tonight.
Shepard: Trust me, nights like this? Its better to go drown your sorrows at a bar than sit on your ass and sulk.
Pierce: I don't sulk!
Ashley: Yes, you really do.
Pierce: Whatever happened to 'girls stick together'?
Ashley: Choose. I tease you, or we both tease John.
Shepard: Hey!
Pierce: Like that's a hard choice.
Ashley: I know, it's horrible.
Shepard: Ok now I think this is a bad idea. You two very evil women on the same table conspiring against your poor old Major. Talk about a recipe for destruction.
Ashley: What's the matter, Skip?
Pierce: Scared of us talking, John?
Shepard: Yes, thoroughly.
Pierce: So my having a little fun scares you.
Shepard: When it's at my expense. Yes!
Ashley: Oh ho ho, you're starting to sweat a bit, skip.
Shepard: Ok - two of the three people I am scared of the most in the entire 'verse - easily a thousand times more frightening than the Reapers easily - are chatting in a bar and are going to use me as their target. If I were a lesser man, I'd probably be making a quick exit.
Pierce: I'm taking that as a compliment.
Ashley: I would too, but who's the third?
Pierce: His mother. And seven hells, rightfully so.
Shepard: Thank you, Roxanna.
Pierce: We still love you John. Don't worry. Your seemingly infinite charisma hasn't failed you yet.
Ashley: And there's the Rox we know and love.
Shepard: Welcome back to the stage, we though we lost you in that little pit of self-loathing.
Pierce: Heh. Yea. Sorry. Bad day for me today.
Ashley: Bad days are usually the best days for a guinness.
Shepard: Any day, is a good day for guinness.
Pierce: I'll drink to that.

Ashley: So - while John is getting us some more drinks. I wanted to ask you a few things.
Pierce: Shoot.
Ashley: Why were you in such a foul mood? If you don't mind my asking that is?
Pierce: Straightforward as ever.
Ashley: You know me.
Pierce: Its Morgan. My older brother - he would have been forty-two this morning. If Mindoir hadn't fallen, a lot of things would have been different.
Ashley: Like what?
Pierce: I wouldn't have been a solider, wouldn't have met John, or you, or the Normandy crew. Did you know that I was offered a scholarship position at the Elysium Academy of Information Technology? When I was thirteen.
Ashley: Get out of here!
Pierce: Yep.
Ashley: No way!
Pierce: Ya-huh.
Ashley: Wow! God, I knew you were smart, but scholarship at thirteen? You must have been a prodigal.
Pierce: I don't call myself the best damn hacker in the 'verse because it sounds good... well, it does sound damn good.
Shepard: You bragging again, kiddo?
Pierce: You're the kid here, not me.
Ashley: Well as the youngest, I'm technically the 'kid' here.
Pierce: You really wanna put yourself in that position?
Ashley: Yeeea... spoke before I thought.
Shepard: Part of your charm, love.
Pierce: Well - thanks for the lovely evening, but I gotta get some sleep guys.
Shepard: Already? What, do you have a bedtime or something?
Ashley: Don't be mean, John.
Pierce: Yes - listen to your Lady.
Shepard: You are such a pain in the ass.
Ashley: See you tomorrow.
Pierce: Night guys.

*Pierce walks out of the bar.*
Pierce: Vega! God, you startled me!
Vega: Sorry, ma'am. Didn't mean to.
Pierce: Is fine. You heading in for a drink?
Vega: Yea - I am.
Pierce: Cool. Have fun.
Vega: I will. Thanks, Commander. What about you?
Pierce: I'm heading off to bed. I haven't been sleeping all that well lately.
Vega: Oh - I understand.
Pierce: Is that disappointment I hear, James?
Vega: No, Ma'am.
Pierce: Is there something bothering you, Vega? You seem a little distracted.
Vega: I am a bit, yes ma'am.
Pierce: Come on then, we'll get a drink and you can tell me about it. If you want to, of course.
Vega: What happened to 'not sleeping well'?
Pierce: There are these wonderful inventions called 'sleeping pills' and if that fails, getting drunk has the same effect albeit with a killer headache, but I'm willing to stomach it.
Vega: Um If you want me to come with you ma'am.
Pierce: What did I tell you about that "ma'am" stuff?
Vega: You already had a few at the time, I just thought it was the alcohol talking?
Pierce: Nup - me. So, cut the "Ma'am" sh!t. I told you, 'Rox' or 'Roxanna'.
Vega: I'll work on it, Ma'am.
Pierce: C'mon. Let's get a drink.
Vega: Right behind you.

Love it ;)

Ashley: *sigh* She's such a bad liar.
Shepard: Yup. Leaves us alone and comes back with Vega. Dunno what to think about it.
Ashley: I'm sure she has a veeeeeeeeery good reason to have a drink with Vega.
Shepard: Seems so. So since we're alone, do you have anything in your mind?
Ashley: Maybe another drink, Skip?
Shepard: Sounds like a good idea.
Ashley: Yeah. Skip, did I ever told you what happened right after the Normandy got destroyed?
Shepard: Nope - we hadn't much time lately.
Ashley: It's a painful memory. Still can see Joker's face when he told me you didn't made it out of the Normandy. He said you tried but couldn't ...
Shepard: I remember that moment. My thoughts were with you, but I felt peace ... and sadness.
Ashley: Things got worse a bit later. We were picked up by a frighter - and the captain told me they couldn't find you ... Skip ... that almost killed me. Losing you broke my heart, but not being able to bury you ...
Shepard: Would feel the same about you, Ash.
Ashley: Need a drink, Skip ... make two.

yeah Horizon can be taken as a break up. As a matter of fact you can't really start a romance path until after Horizon so it makes it seem that way.

I'm not too fond of it myself to be honest, but I do like looking at/comparing the two Ashley faces and the poem snippet. Posted Image

Ummm, I think you could use a different font for that. a Hollow style witha dark color on a dark background makes it hard to read. I thought my computer was dying for a second. Though once I read it it was beautiful so great job.Posted Image

About to restart mass effect 1 can't decide whether I make her work on the bomb and get that awesome scene or make her go with the distraction team. Thoughts on what I should do? This is my canon BTW.

@hotdog; I always wonder what Ash thinks in that situation..."Hey whats with the lifting! I can walk perfectly fine, thank you! I'm not some kind of dog-...Oh hey will you look at that ass, quite the view! Hmm maybe I should just go along with her silly heroics."

I always assumed she was unconscious. It looks to me she passes out as Shepard helps her to feet and is out when he's carrying her.

I always prefer this scene no matter who you rescue, so I think you should go for it.

Although if you rescue the VS and distraction team you get the awesome last stand scene with whoever is left with the bomb.

I don't understand how she could pass out. Does she get shot? Nope. So why the hell does she start limping when Shepard picks her up. I don't get it.

Shepard picks her up like she's weightless, though Ash doesn't seem to be enjoying it, even with the ass view.

@J DAWG; Depends on your Sheps attitude: If s/he's more about saving as many lives as possible: Then distraction team. If however s/he 's more of a make sure the mission doesn't fail whatever the cost( In this case: make sure the bomb goes of no matter what.) then go for protecting the bomb.

@hotdog; I had never considered that before. Hm, I should take a close look at her expressions the next time I get to virmire.
