True. I just thought that because of the fact that both of them served on Eden Prime at the same time makes it hit a little closer to home for her.

We all know that Ash has a tough shell but underneath her humor and armour which she uses as a shield is a very vulnerable and beautifull woman.

Is there any word yet on Ash in ME3? I mean will we get the Ash back that we all fell in love with. I want her to recite some poetry again. I liked her humor a lot and the banter the two had in ME1. They should get us Ashley back the way we fell in love with her. She and Shepard just felt so natural as if they were always destined to be together. They just belong together.

all we know is that ash is diffrent then she was in ME1,maybe more mature more confident and a little bit more serious.

talked about this before,dont think bioware is gonna take away the poetry,the wit or the toughness but they may tone down her jokeing attitude and replace it with a more serious one.after all the galaxy and her race is on the brink of annihilaton and doom or scucces rest on her and the rest of shepards teams shoulders.

Honestly though, so what? Just b/c you may be completely wiped out doesn't mean you can't make jokes and have a great sense of humor during all of that. In fact, that's how some people cope with very stressful, intense, sad, etc situations. I believe Ash is one of those people.

IMO, she should be serious in combat and be all about getting the mission done effectively and efficiently, but out of combat she really needs to be the same witty, playful, Ash we knew in ME1.

Also I think Ashley would be witty out in the field. I know in ME1 while guns were fired it'd be all "NOT IN THE MIDDLE OF A FIGHT!" but I think now that she seems to have loosened up and exudes confidence (from "I wondered if I was good enough") she might have some one liners that make it into the topic name haha.

I have a question ? Does anyone know anything about Shepard and his/her LI situation aboard the Normandy? Will they share the captain's quarters? Or will you be only able to invite her up? Which makes sense as all characters have their spot on the ship.

I just think it would be cool,ok,and make sense for Shepard's LI to bunk with Shepard. In Ashley's case,it has been close to 3 years(As ME2 was 2 years later & ME3 is 6 months to a year later.)
Just a random thought. I doubt it will happen,but I wouldn't mind the little extra fan service.

Captain's Quarters? My Shepard sleeps in the Maintenance tunnels. I'd prefer Ash having the CQ as the new CO of the Normandy. A change of pace would be good. (No romance in ME3 for me)

What's to share? You never sleep ... you had a couple things you could do in your cabin (or fish die) in ME2 than in ME1, but it's not like you can sleep, sit, lounge. Unless they change (add) things that you can do on the Normandy as a whole I see them standing in certain spots. I wish that there is more movement, life and overall interactions on the Normandy with your crew.

Just a few things that I would like to be able to do as Shepard on the Normandy:

Sit with Joker watching the stars go by, chatting & drinking coffee

See Garrus windex Tali's helmet causing her to swear a blue streak at him

Workout on a punching bag with Ash

Tell Liara a dirty joke and have her get embarrased ... then she punches me playfully

Play poker with Ken, Gabby & Ash

Sing a Quarian song with Tali

Have Liara try and teach me how to dance (gawd knows that Shep cannot dance)
.
.. this just for starters.           I won't mention the battlefield wants.

That's what I meant. Will your LI "stand" in your cabin(and feed your fish) or will she stand somewhere else on the ship. You could sit and rest with your LI in your cabin In ME2. And if it was Kelly,she Huh did kinda teach Shepard how to dance.!. I agree with you,I would love to see more "life" aboard the Normandy.

Have you seen her dance at Flux?  The armor isn't the problem. But I think that it is part of her charm.

Liara also wears armor on the dance floor but I wasn't laughing. I was surprised ... oh, yeh. asari.

Unless they update both Shepard & Ash, I will laugh once again if they let me have them dance together. These two killing machines that can dance their best on a battlefield look like such clutzes on the dance floor. Cute & too funny!

It's a picture taken from the first footage of Mass Effect 3 that showed Ash. Someone else took it and then I think they put it on Deviant Art and then I posted it.
