True. I just thought that because of the fact that both of them served on Eden Prime at the same time makes it hit a little closer to home for her.

We all know that Ash has a tough shell but underneath her humor and armour which she uses as a shield is a very vulnerable and beautifull woman.

Is there any word yet on Ash in ME3? I mean will we get the Ash back that we all fell in love with. I want her to recite some poetry again. I liked her humor a lot and the banter the two had in ME1. They should get us Ashley back the way we fell in love with her. She and Shepard just felt so natural as if they were always destined to be together. They just belong together.

all we know is that ash is diffrent then she was in ME1,maybe more mature more confident and a little bit more serious.

talked about this before,dont think bioware is gonna take away the poetry,the wit or the toughness but they may tone down her jokeing attitude and replace it with a more serious one.after all the galaxy and her race is on the brink of annihilaton and doom or scucces rest on her and the rest of shepards teams shoulders.

Honestly though, so what? Just b/c you may be completely wiped out doesn't mean you can't make jokes and have a great sense of humor during all of that. In fact, that's how some people cope with very stressful, intense, sad, etc situations. I believe Ash is one of those people.

IMO, she should be serious in combat and be all about getting the mission done effectively and efficiently, but out of combat she really needs to be the same witty, playful, Ash we knew in ME1.

I doubt any of the LIs will be placed in Shep's cabin. They have a job and a station on the ship. If anything it may only be implied that they're sharing living space. That's fine with me. I'm a fan of implication. My brain can do a whole lot with it.

When Ash drives it's a bumpy ride.  She prefers to man the canon. 

It's the Mako that bridged a gap between Wrex & Ash in my AshRomance game. When Ash goes on a mission, she insists not only on driving but the music that floats through the cabin. She plays a mix of Imelda May, Elvis, James Hunter .. with Imelda's "Wild About My Lovin" being her favorite. Wrex loves Elvis and Ash's driving ... so while poor Shepard cringes at her trying to cut through mountains instead of taking the easier route, Wrex is in heaven as the Mako is vertical and Elvis is belting "Power Of My Love".

My friends & family think I'm weird because based on which Shepard I play, all the main characters have different music tastes, hobbies, foods they like, etc. 
ME: "Time for the Mako ride, let me throw on 'Divine Discontent' while we explore
Friend: "I thought she (Ash) liked Imelda May?"
ME: "Not this Ash .. she loves Sixpence None The Richer. The Ash that loves May is with Piers Shepard."

So has anything been decided about the two threads thing...I've been posting my stuff in the 1.1 untill now and posting in both feels like spamming to me (although when it comes to ash you can't really spam enough )
It's not very handy this way,  I think.

I have a question ? Does anyone know anything about Shepard and his/her LI situation aboard the Normandy? Will they share the captain's quarters? Or will you be only able to invite her up? Which makes sense as all characters have their spot on the ship.

I just think it would be cool,ok,and make sense for Shepard's LI to bunk with Shepard. In Ashley's case,it has been close to 3 years(As ME2 was 2 years later & ME3 is 6 months to a year later.)
Just a random thought. I doubt it will happen,but I wouldn't mind the little extra fan service.

What's to share? You never sleep ... you had a couple things you could do in your cabin (or fish die) in ME2 than in ME1, but it's not like you can sleep, sit, lounge. Unless they change (add) things that you can do on the Normandy as a whole I see them standing in certain spots. I wish that there is more movement, life and overall interactions on the Normandy with your crew.

I'm pretty sure that I heard that they are going to try to make the ship feel more alive in ME3... with people moving around and what not.

I seriously hope they do... maybe not move party members off of their respective decks (so it wouldn't be as much work), but have them be in many different places on that deck throughout the game! That way, Garrus isn't just calibrating all game and Ash isn't just cleaning rifles... I mean, we all know that she has ... other... weapons that she also needs to check out....

If they have color customization for squaddies I'd be ecstatic, but I doubt they will since the CE's 'Alternate Appearance Pack' image of Liara is just a recolor of her same LotSB armor mesh. They wouldn't offer a recolor as DLC if you could pick and choose, methinks. Which stinks for me, because I much prefer Garrus and Ashley in their iconic color schemes. :/

Shepard does have spiffy armor. She's got customizable pieces, and she can recolor her armor and put paterns on it. although I doubt squadmates would have that option since that would take up alot of space to have all the armors in game to be on all the colors. Though if They put ME3 on three discs like I think they will,they might have enough space to do that. If that's the case she and my canon's will have matching Black and Red just like team collosus.
