Really depends. Jacob could have died in the SM (My save.) or Ashley could've died on Virmire. It wasn't meant to be </3 Kinda like Shepard and Ashley themselves  Especially if the reapers win and everybody dies. Fun times.

Everyone keeps saying that's Ashley in armor, but to me it looks a hell of a lot like the other outfit we've seen her in. The shoulders are the same, and appears to have the same "tunic" look about it.

And pehaps it's that natural leader thing, Shepard has that does it? He's capable of doing combat and knows how to lead a Shipscrew etc. Ashley might like that and for Paragon Shep atleast, she might find him adorable because of the cheesy lines, whilst the renegade and neutral convo's with Ash often challenge her more, I think she'd like that too.

My canon is a renegade. But I think Ashley is secretly digging cheesy paragon Shepard's lines. Not that she would ever admit that to him.

Lol my favourite cheesy paragon shepard line is: "...Something...something galaxy, but I need you next to me." Ha, then Ashley laughs at him. Which makes me laugh everytime. Seriously, I could hug that man when he turns on the cheese charm. He's all cuddley when he says that.

HONESTLY! Cheese won't bother Ashley...Well, unless Shepard smells like cheese then I can see that becoming a problem. Er, just forget about that part.

Actually, Ashley is more cheesy than Paragon Shepard. The stuff she says before they hit the bunk was funny. "Oh, captain my captain." and such. But...we still luv that cheesy Ashley who pours her heart into her poetry, right?

Pftt. I'm always happy, unless someone dies. Actually, I'm really warm, even though it's FREEZING outside. So I figured a good old milkshake won't kill me.

Ashley and half the universe is attracted to Shepard. Full stop. Cheesy or slightly insane. Shepard's are hot.

But, there is the pic with armor of her... It's just the smaller concept there  which we can't notice, because the quality sucks... I HATE being spoiled. I'd rather sometimes not know soemthing, than know just a little bit and then think 'WHY?! I want  MOAR!' ._.

Anyway, a dialogue for you guys.

Shepard: *in medical bay after first ME3 mission* Ooowww.
Ashley: Still hurts Shepard?
Shepard: You know, I can deal with arms getting shot, legs, a bullet even grazed my neck once. Damn near killed me, but why for the love of god, why do they always aim for the stomach.
Ashley: Because that's what they were trained for?
Shepard: People are trained to hit from the torso up. Those geth did that on purpose.
Ashley: And I just realised you're high on pain killers, aren't you?
Shepard: Sky-high.
Ashley: Yahuh. Figured. Anyway, I got some good news and some bad news. You're alive.
Shepard: What's the good news?
Ashley: John.
Shepard: Sorry, contiune.
Ashley: You're armor is...
Shepard: If you're telling me it's broken ...
Ashley: Not so much broken as much as.... um, how to describe it.
Shepard: Go on Ash, I can take it. I'm a big boy.
Ashley: The entire chest plate had melted, like completely. It's irreparible.
Shepard: Oh, what the fu -
Ashley: But!
Shepard: I killed the Collectors with that armor! *sadfacing*
Ashley: I have something in the armory you might want to see. If Chakwas lets me.
Chakwas: He can't quite walk yet, but he can hobble.
Ashley: Ok, ass out of bed Marine. *shoves hoodie in his face.*
Shepard: Where the hell did you get that?
Ashley: Old friend made it.
Shepard: It's even got the N7 stripe, now that's just awesome.
Ashley: You're really stoned.
Shepard: No. It's awesome.

*in armory*
Vega: I thought you were sedated, Commander?
Shepard: *limps in behind Ash.* Getting there, not quite.
Ashley: Here *goes to storage crate at the end of the room. Open it*
Shepard: *hobbles over and peers in.* Oh my. *hand over mouth, pulls it away to try and speak.*
Vega: Sir? *comes over and looks in. Shepard's ME3 armor is inside+special edition weapons.*
Shepard: It's so pretty... and shiny.
Vega: And new!
Ashley: And expensive! You break it, I'll kill you again.
Shepard: Did I ever mention that you're wonderful?
Ashley: It has come up on occasion but not recently.
