I am not sure, but in the two versions on the left, when you look to the left of her head it looks like a ponytail and in the two smaller images to the top right of that, t looks like she has a tight bun. I know it's just concept art, but dare we dream of three hair-styles? Or am I just as short-sighted as "teh miniskirt"-people?

Hate to be the other opinion here, but it looks more like the end of the opening on her normal shirt/jacket.  The cross section up top appears to be another piece of leather/material connecting the two sleeve sections.  Works into my original theory (read: hope) that her casual outfit is actually what she layers the armor onto.  Hence the bulky shoulder guards.  Still looks good, though.

I think it would be best if the blue jacket and gloves we see is just one of her casual outfits. Make em interchangable, sort of but not really like how Shepard can change his armor mods and casual outfit.

Nope, but I did now! I wondered why he suddenly had a hoodie. Also that'd be a pretty cool way to introduce his new armour.Now I'm waiting for a folow up where Shepard gives her a present back!

As good a way to introduce it as any. I would actually like to see something like that happen. Gives Shepard an excuse to lose his armor and abilities again. Poor excuse at it may be.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but I follow Casey Hudson on Twitter, and he said that Ash will have a "fem. version of the the blue Alliance armour we've shown on Kaidan" (Twitter 26 Sept)

Dunno if this is new news or not!

on the subject of outfits though, is there something you'd love to see Ash wear? (And not the obvious answer nothing )

I'm not party to seeing other women naked, thanks. But I would rather like to see Ash in the far left outfit in the picture above when dealing with business, Alliance or Spectre alike. And the blue catsuit when she feels like using her feminine charms to get what she wants, or as the mission requires it.

Off duty hours, she'd probably steal Shepard's hoodie.

edit: Male!shepard naked, maybe, but not Ash.

I'm hoping for another passionate scene, a little hell-catty, but above all romantic and with a bit of tension like in ME1, I don't need to see awkward scenes like in ME2 (Miranda one is a perfect example for me: Too little talk too much awkward cuddling and touching.), the lead up convo and short flashes when the were 'doing the deed' in ME1 were much more fitting.

Indeed, I'm still confused by how Zaeed got pregnant when I did one..., and got really sad when Ashley fake died.. Fun thread though.

Yep, something romantic with a bit hawtness. Don't need to see any "special points" of Ashley's body - a naked back and shoulder is enough. After all, we should know how she looks (= beautiful) and let some stuff left for imagination.

I just want to see some kind of conversation before and after the "deed" - including some influence by Shepard's choice. More hawt or more cuddly? Whatever. I can see a paragon!Shep going for a more sensual scene while renegade!Shepard wants the rough stuff. Who knows?
Lets hope it's not half-baked stuff no one likes. It should be rewarding, not ... awkward.

Shepard: *turns and sees Ash holding out a chain with a ring on the end. Shepard recognises it with a feeling of guilt and dread as he holds out his hand to take it.* Honestly thought I lost this. was relieved truthfully.
Ashley: That day when the Collectors attack, you left and didn't have it on your tags. I knew how much it meant to you so I was gonna give it to you, but the Collectors hit and I didn't get the chance.
Shepard: ...
Ashley: It belonged to your mystery woman, didn't it?
Shepard: Yea.
Ashley: What happened?
Shepard: The Blitz is what.
Ashley: I'm sorry.
Shepard: She's been dead for about eleven, twelve years now. It was a different time, a different life.
Ashley: Literally.
Shepard: *smirks*
Ashley: Sorry, wanted to lighten the mood. Guess it was inappropriate.
Shepard: I really don't mind. And don't very much care. *Fists hand around chain* This ring doesn't belong to anyone anymore. It really has no meaning to me.
Ashley: Not even as a keepsake for your first -?
Shepard: Fiancee and no. Everything about I loved and wanted to remember about her, I've kept in my heart. I'm satisfied with that.
Ashley: What about a promise then?
Shepard: A promise?
Ashley: A promise.
Shepard: I - *radio bleeps, presses hand to it.* Go ahead....
Ashley: *sighs and listens in.*
Shepard: Understood. On our way.
Ashley: Why is it we're cursed with constant interruptions at the worst possible times?
Shepard: Trust me. I've been trying to figure that out myself. *grabs her hand and places the chain in it.* Tell you what. Keep this safe for me and we'll talk about it when we get back, deal?
Ashley: Deal.

Something slightly angsty, but a sweet kind of angsty I believe.

My timing is a bit off on the subject of getting the confrontation with Liara and Ash (several hours late), but the best bet to assure you get it is to talk to both of them every time you are back on the ship and always choose the top/right option (paragon) in either dialogue (there might be a top/left paragon option in there too). Either way, don't read the choices, just take top/right every time. (at least this worked for me)

First time I saw the confrontation I was cracking up, it surprised me cause I thought I was being slick by playing both. I was like... Doh!

I almost chose the: "Can't I have you both" option during that scene, but decided to go with Ash all the way so that I wouldn't screw that up. She is very sensitive and will walk away at the first sign of an issue during the flirting stage.

I have never once had that scene with the Liara+Ash confrontation. I always picked Ash.

I've had a rough morning and afternoon, but it's okay! Because I come online and see that close up Ashley art! Awesome. At least she's got actual armor unlike some SQUADMATES! It almost seems 2 good 2 be true. How can we get the wonderful bun AND the flowing hair? It's a cruel dream, I know it.
