So having read invasion and had a great view at Aria's killer cleavage, I think it's entirely possible that it is a hole in the armor seeing how these concepts were done by Dark Horse as well and they apparently can't do without. And honestly, even it is very blurred, the shape of the part in question doesn't really suggest Spectre logo to me.
But I still like to believe that Bioware themselves have learned from all the outrage and have at least the in-game armor completely covered.
Personally I won't have that much of a problem, if I am wrong, as my mind has done a wonderful job of covering up the flaws of the two previous games so far, but I will at least state my disappointment and let people rage unopposed, I just wish they could express their criticism without dragging third parties like Barbie, Miranda and most recently Paris Hilton into this in a condescending manner or even hookers, who do a valuable job in our society - you may not like them yourself, but they don't deserve to be used in a degrading manner to show your disapproval.
And just consider bat'let-ash my contribution to the Mass Effect Halloween-party. I'll be disguised as the perv standing in the corner staring at your asses ;-)

No, they all made it through. I don't think I should punish anyone of them just because I was unable to save Kaidan.
I like Miranda, but I can see that Ash is going to get her role - at least her function. I don't know if the Council will fully trust Shepard in ME3, so Ash could be there to keep Shepard in line. Who knows?
However, we'll see Miranda again and some ppl might see the "catfight" between her and Ashley in case they weren't faithful.
They could be like matter and antimatter. Somehow Miranda IS "Anti-Ashley"

Oh, it was less about Kaidan dying. I liked him, but Virmire added flavour to the game. I was more peeved about BiowEAr flipping out and "padding" the game, so to speak
