@brain: How could I forget about Whitman. No supper for me today!
"Green Hills of Earth" is a story, yes, but there is a song in it and I think she was going to recite that.

I also think we should try to compile facts, Like CptData suggested to support that Ashley is not in fact racist but cautious. Too many people are not making that distinction. They merely paint her in-experience as racism. Enough is enough.

Funny you should mention that, cause i'm planning to become a graphic novelist.

Pursue your dreams, and don't let anything/anyone squelch them!
I only ask that I get a free signed copy of your first novel!
Agreed, the discussions have actually been quite serious the last few days, where are the ones about having gyms on the normandy and a games room- for all your Skyllian Five and Pooling. Although that kind of topic usually seems to end up with talking about sexy times...or maybe that's just me.elektrego wrote...
@aurora: Imo, we should have fun and not take anything too seriously,
Ah well that makes sense, I should look it up, it has me intrigued now..elektrego wrote...

Now the racism-thing is a subject that's gets beaten to death, then resurrected by Cerberus only to be beaten to death again..and so the vicious circle continues. I've just accepted that that's the way it is, if people really can't see it I won't blame them.
(I try to keep out of the discussion since it doesn't lead anywhere for either party)

I'm not sure if it'll change things really, I'm not so bothered by it myself, but it might indeed be handy for newcomers to the thread, just as not to scare them away.elektrego wrote...

I, myself, don't have a problem to distiguish between the fic and the info/discussion, well apart from yesterday, lol, but I can see, that it might be difficult for someone, who isn't as familiar with this thread, so clearly labeling it fanfic might be a good idea. What does everyone else think?
@brain:
I am so harsh on myself as Whitman is actually one of my personal favourites.
Does it now? Soo, how do we stand on Ashley and Shepard having a nightly game of pool, after enjoying a tastyAurora313 wrote...
And I think that you're posting what everyone enviably starts to think when it comes to those things, Brain

Oh man ... I definitely feel sick. Any ideas?
How would Ashley treat an ill Shepard? Not a wounded Shep, but one that got a cold?
In one way I can see her as caring girlfriend that tries making him feel comfortable, but I also can see her a bit gruff: "c'mon, Skip, it's just a cold. There's a galaxy to save, time to get up and fight!" virtually booting him into action.
(Ashley lacks news and it shows)

Honestly i could imagine Ashley's quarters having a dart set (a-la Zaeed's) with a face of Udina right in the middle of it.
