About Horizon: lets say that most ppl who had Ash / Kaidan as LI in ME1 are more forgiving than others. Not every ME-fan is having more than 2 or 3 playthroughs and not everyone tries every possible LI. Pick me - I'm an Ashley-only guy. I love her character and totally understand her reaction on Horizon - especially since Mr. Suave failed epically to tell her the truth ...

I can see your point. At the time Liara was LI and Ash/Kaidan were good friends with Shep. After finally being reunited with the VS, I went from trying to get them back on the Normandy to wishing that they were the one left on Virmire. Now Im willing to  patch things up with them in 3 if they admit that they did treat Shep unfairly. It not 100% on the VS because Shep could of handled the situation better herself. I think alot of this anger could of been avoided if BW would of sent an email or something from them trying to patch things up, if they werent romanced as well.

Hello Thread, I bring greetings from "the other VS fans" and this:



I always wanted to convert Ashley, but haven't got the skills till now.
It's still not finished, as bones need renaming and Blender refuses to work and bake lightmaps (I'm still a newb after all, so I'm looking for help atm). There's 4 versions in different armor/clothing.
I hope I picked good color for eyes and skin, because such things need to be painted "by hand" in case of ME/ME2 models. I usually release 'em after finishing, so if anyone is interested, I'll drop by and update

I like her armor, looks great & heavy. What exactly do you wanna do with this Ashley - convert to what or from what? However, looks nice.

Lets see what's going to happen in ME3. I'm looking forward for a nicely done reunification scene with far more dialogue and some kind of apologize from BOTH! Shepard, because lack of explanation why he was working for Cerberus and Ashley because she didn't listen or gave Shepard time to explain.

That's all. Besides that, I won't continue Shepley if Ashley doesn't feel right because of her new writer. I hope that writer is skilled and gives her more deepness, but if not ... dunno. I don't wanna lose Ash, but also don't want to keep her if she's not acting like Ash. Doesn't depend on Horizon & stuff.

Anyway. More to the Ash - does she have a new writer now? I had not known that.
And yes, Master Suave and Charisma failed beyond epically during the Horizon incident, but Ash was admittedly far too emotional for Shepard to get a word in edgewise.

Perry Rhodan is a series of books of several german authors. They're not that famous outside Germany and a bit "old school", especially early books. Dunno how long the series is around, I believe since mid sixties or so.

Doesn't matter. Ashley knows them somehow.

Just for Ashley goodness: I'd like to expand her family tree. Want to know more about her and her ancestors back to today. I bet she has a very interesting family ...

About Udina, I've always thought he was too caught up in political games, his unpredictabilty is a factor I dislike, you never know why he's backing you up or when he drops you. I don't hate him though, but I don't like relying on him, nor does Ashley, apparently she only relies on his face on the dartboard.

Well that makes sense. I've already fleshed out a tonne of stuff for my John-Mal's paternal history. Maternal not so much, but it would only make sense to speculate on what Ash's possible heritage is. Considering that most of Humanity have lost their unique/ressessive traits and the gene pool has become very diluted now, the possibilities of her home-country, geneology and things like that are practically limitless.

I can try to reconstruct Ashley's heritage - at least a bit.

Current place of birth: somewhere in USA. Don't remember if we have more info about her PoB.
Father: most likely USA - caucasian (pure ???)
Mother: most likely USA - latin (most likely pure)
Grandfather (father): European/USA - caucasian (pure)
Grandmother (father): - USA caucasian (pure)
Grandfather (mother): Brazil/USA - latin (pure)
Grandmother (mother): Brazil/USA - latin (pure)

Maybe I'll draw a family tree of Ash one day ... I just want to give her a background why she's speaking multiple languages and has interest in european culture (Irish, German most likely).

I just imagine a greedy MacShepard that has connections to the Stuarts ... *lol*

Ashley is a real problem - I believe she's quite mixed with and somewhere 1/4 - 1/2 latin and the rest caucasian. I would even say there is a hint of asian in her appearance, but only 1/8 or less - check her small nose and you know what I'm talking about.

I wonder if BW created far more background for each character in the series or just enough for the lore. In case there IS more background I'd like to know what got cut (but is still canon) and what was dropped in the middle of character development.

There' not gonna be ANY ash news for a while. Bioware is on a news embargo, part of that no spoilers in the marketting, the thing the BSN asked for after ME2 had tons of spoilers. Even if they were telling us stuff I doubt it would all be centered around one character, no matter how important to the Story she is. We got our pic of her in casual and in armor and we know she's a Spectre so that's probably all we're gettig until 2012. in the mean tie we should explore what we have and talk it to death like the Mirand thread is doing with ME2 Mirandasince we've yet to see or hear her in the ME3 marketting and they've got almost 800 pages of discussions and pictures. That means, make some new Ashely art people.

@Data; Some lulz dialogues are a nice break from the more serious natured ones, from time to time. Also gonna smack my face into my pillow, to see if sleep will follow.
