Not much to discuss. Kim Brooks isn't doing anything outstanding for us like ralph Sbarge is doing for the Kaidan fans....*sigh* I wish she was active with Mass Effect fans.

I miss the Dialogues thing. That was fun. Sure, it may have been slightly confusing to the newer members of the thread, but it was still fun....

yah, but ther's only so much dialogue you can write. It's why I needed people to make more art. Either that or make more Shepard's for screenshots with Ashley, with custom Shepards!

True, but she has to come in and record for Ashley sometime, but then again the state of the fanbase, Idoubt she'd wan to come and talk to us anyway.

The most horrifying scene just crossed my mind a little eariler, half way through playing Gemcraft...

An unsettling scenario where Ashley was so enraged, confused and mind-raped that he started to strangle Shepard. No indoctrination, no orders just pure malice and hatred. O.o

I finished the thought playing through my head and literally yelled 'What the f!ck was that about!!?!' to myself at the end of it... I am actually horrified at my own imagination... O.o

Happens quite often to me as well. Seems there is an ungodly anger burried under the layers of civilization *g*

Nah, I don't think Ashley will strangle Shepard without a very good reason. Not even hatred. She's no murderer (Shepard on the other side is one).

Ashley: No. I killed you in that dream. Don't ask me why, I don't know. I just felt nothing but hate and strangled you to death. Sometimes I fear my own dreams ...
Shepard: You help me so much with my own nightmares, it's my turn now.
Ashley: Na, I'm fine, Skip.
Shepard: Sure?
Ashley: Sure.
Shepard: For sure sure?
Ashley: Skip!
Shepard: Ash.
Ashley: It was a bad dream, nothing more.
Shepard: A bad dream where you killed your commanding officer ...
Ashley: ... "ex" - we're both Spectres and such ...
Shepard: ... okay, your lover - and don't know why. I have an idea - hang on.
Ashley: What? When did you become this century's Freud?
Shepard: You know me.
Ashley: Yes. That's what gives me a bad feeling ...
Shepard: Don't worry. I once read this book ... right, a good old book with pages made of paper and such ... and it was about "oneiromancy" ...
Ashley: Whut ...
Shepard: Okay. Page 287 - "strangling your lover" - means you're under heavy pressure and feel you could lose your partner if not reliving that pressure that slowly damages your relationship.
Ashley: Haha. You send me on suicide missions every day, do those missions twice and that's not putting any pressure on our relationship?
Shepard: Uhh ...
Ashley: Seriously, Skip ... I hope this sh*tty job ends one day. If not, I'm going to kill you.
Shepard: And that's how I help. Mission accomplished.
Ashley: You're even worse than Kelly.
Shepard: I missed that class "make your crew happy" when I was in bootcamp.
Ashley: And still you make me feel good enough. Sometimes. When not pretending being a shrink.
Shepard: So I shouldn't ...
Ashley: Nope. Just throw that book out of next airlock. And make me happy the "old fashioned way".
Shepard: "Subtile woman" strikes again ...

*lots of hot and passionate kissing and stuff we leave for our imagination*

There was also Ashley being possessed by something, Shepard turning into a sociopath and killing everything in his way, Ashley captured by Cerberus -

oh yes, also a new breakthrough with the Shepard-Clone Shepard idea.
Also, Ashley going on a cool, detached Rampage and Shepard can't even stop her.

I like the last two ideas the most

Nobody is stopping you from writing( well I'm not anyway, I encourage it)! It was just since some people complained that'd be better to post the long ones in separate blogs, or is there a spoiler-hide function maybe? I've never checked that.

Yeah. Well, I'm not sure if I'm getting it off the ground first. Have the main villian etched out, and the begininig where Shepard gets a metaphocial kick up the ass for spending two year in -spoiler- and the reason he hasn't tried to fight in all that time. But nothing beyond that.

Oh - Ash is promoted to Staff Commander at this point. Yay! And she's keeping Shepard's seat (and bed) on the Normandy warm.

I think Ashley'd be pretty good at running an organized ship, she'd be pretty strict I could imagine, occasionally letting the crew blow of some steam (in the non-sexy-time manner). She wouldn't be everyones favorite, but then again she wouldn't try to be.

Ashley earned the respect of her soliders - Shepard's soliders - that's all she needs. That and Shepard pretty much said 'follow her orders or I'll cripple all of you, just - spoilers-'

That is one fantastic smile right there. I do notice that her armor looks the same on Horizon and on Virmire (where she ports it no matter what armor you have her in during combat. I guess for ME2 sine you only saw them once they jsut threw in the textures from Horizon into the new Engine, which explains why they're getting new looks in ME3 with an expanded role.

I agree with elektrego, nothing good comes from writing when you force it, if a thread is slow post a picture or a random though about Ashley, don't force out dialogue scenarios which can lead to writers block on other things you might be writing.

"Not in the middle of a fight!"
"I'm a little busy here!"
I wonder what they are doing wrong..

I'd love some in-fight banter between Ash &Shepard or any other squadmate..just imagine all the badass lines she could say..


And I have to agree, that's one of the best Ashley smiles I've seen.

Indeed! That kind of combat banter is great (If used sparingly, I wouldn't want every fight to turn into a comedic event.)

I'm really looking forward to convo's between Ash & Wrex, because that has to be the most badass combination! Also I think her and Vega are going to get along in a fun way, I could see Ash constantly challenging him with comments like:
Ashley:"So you've only got, what? two maybe three kills that fight? I've seen Volus's do better then that!"
Vega: "Bluff, you're just afraid I'm gonna take over your role as tank of the squad!"
Ashley: "Eh, I've moved on from being a tank, lethality requires much more skill."
Shepard: "I agree, you're bluffing, and that comes from a man who's seen a biotic god Volus once"
Vega:"Thanks for the backing up Commander! So what about that lieutenant?"
Shepard: "Really no need to thank me. at all."
