From a interview I read she's aware of all the hate the character recieves, so she must be aware of the love too (I hope so!). I'm sure she looks now and then or atleast has once to see how fans see the character, to see if she has delievered a good performace ect, she must look for critisism. And on that note, if you're reading this Kim, Ash is awsome!

I can't help but think Ashley would be the equivalent of tex on the blue team in RvB if she was a storm trooper, the rest would get owned by luke or han and then Ashley would take them both out with a single shot.

Ash = more badass version of Tex.
Shepard = More badass version of Church, except, you know, he can actually fire weapons and usually gets headshots.

In the future, 'specially since they're both Spectres. I definately see a love-hate relationship forming. Specially in Halcyon

Vega watched them both with a raised eyebrow. "So is this a good day or a bad day?" He asked before he could stop himself. Ash turned to him, a fire in her eyes but her face was otherwise stonecut, passive. Shepard seemed relieved at the repreive.
"What's the difference?" Ash asked, folding her arms and straightening up.
"Good days? You're working together, sort of and maybe even a bit of flirting," Vega said, trying not to laugh at a cheesy line he once heard from Shepard. "Bad day, you're both trying to kill each other and I'm always cleaning up the mess."
Ashley and Shepard looked at each other, before shrugging and giving their own little '50-50' gestures.

So what abilities do you think Ash will have in ME3? The devs did say that she's more geared towards lethality rather than being a tank. Maybe we'll see the return of the Carnage ability from ME1, or perhaps even High Explosive Rounds as an ammo power?

Well, I believe she might an ability similar to adrenline rush, maybe use most if not all types of ammo, grenades, flashbangs, possibly even a few more tech-related abilities like overlord.

From what I've read (Twitter thread IIRC) the carnage ability is back.
I remember one of the devs commenting on it and saying Garrus & Vega can use it.
So if Ash is suppose to be the lethal  tank, like they've said, it would make sense that she can use it too.

Works for me, but I see it more as Inara and Mal from firefly.


edit: I should point out that both I and Shepard have admitted to his being named after Malcolm Reynolds.

edit: edit: I can totally see Shepard, Vega and Ash in Mal's, Tracy's and Zoe's shoes in this situation.

There's the namesake Ash - the zombie hunter (to my limited understanding)
And There's Ash - The Spectre.

I have a bad feeling that BW is listening more to the "crybabies" who hate "xenophobic rasist boring Ashley Williams" than those who admire her well developed character.

One thing is interesting: as far as I can see (and I'm not too long active in those forums) Kaidan fans seems to be fine with her and vice versa. Same for Miranda fans. Why's that?


By the way, I love this picture Definitely looks like a sexy version of a Stormtrooper. Guess the artist was drawing some similarities here on purpose.

Why not have a Shepard that bears a suspicious resemblance to Bruce Campbell so you can have both?

But Shepard should remain Shepaloo in my honset opinion. Plus I can't see him cutting off his hand for a chainsaw. Especially since he has a new toy to place with now. (Omni-blade ftw!)

I dislike the haters, it such a shame that very few people can appreciate the Character Ashley Williams. And When she started to quote poetry, I personally laughed and said 'Ahaha! I do that!' except my material is made up (and not poetry) , Ash gets hers from a source. I like that about her... though Shepard has been trying, and unsucessfully I should add, to get her to read The Divine Comedy...

Actually, that could work. But then, he'd have to get an Omni-buckler, Omni-riotshield, Omni-butchers knife, Omni-grater and so on, and so on.


I personally would not mind an Omni Riot-Shield in gamplay. That would be quite interesting!  If it's not availble in gameplay, I'm gonna effing give him one when I write the action scenes of Halcyon.
