[Mr. Brainheart]

A little thing I had lying around, the joke isn't very good I think, but this one's more about the concept. If someone likes it I could do some more.  Shepard is dying to get a 'weapon's' check!

Ashley: Questions?
Garrus: No, everything is fine.
Zaeed: Aye, we'll kick some Reaper asses today.
Ashley: Fine. So prepare yourself. I'll do another weapons check.
Shepard: Me too. My M54 Penetrator is not calibrated ...
Garrus: Then it's my turn, Shepard. Hand it over ... I'll do that.
Shepard: I mean, it's not stress tested yet.
Mordin: Checked all weapons. All made it through test. Never heard of a M54 Penetrator. Sounds like a sniper rifle.
Shepard: Kinda ... noo, I mean it just needs some care.
Zaeed: Hmmm ... I still care for my old gun. Can do that for yours too. Maybe she'll become legendary like my old-
Shepard: Jeez ... just get your hands off my M54! That's my special weapon!
Kasumi: Special weapons? Hmm ... with or without silencer?
Ashley: Uhhmm ... Skip ... what is a M54? I had hundreds of different guns in my career, but never had a M54. Some prototype?
Shepard: It's unique. No more details.
Ashley: Okay. So if everyone is okay - you know our mission. Lets do this. Shepard - between you and me...
Shepard: Sure. Crew, dismissed. Ash, you did a fine job with that briefing.
Ashley: Haha. I did that before when you were in jail.
Shepard: Yeah, guess so. So what's in your mind?
Ashley: I'd like to know more about that M54.
Shepard: Sure - that 54 means year of construction.
Ashley: Then it's an old weapon? I'm surprised I never heard of it.
Shepard: It wasn't in use that often... and it's unique, as I said.
Ashley: Now I'm interested - I mean, I'm collecting guns and it bugs me that I never heard of that M54 Penetrator.
Shepard: I could borrow you that one, but be careful.
Ashley: As always. When? For our next mission?
Shepard: Only private use.
Ashley: Uhh ... why that? Wait ... are you kidding me? 54? That's the year you were born. And ... eeeeeew ... John! I won't check that "gun".
Shepard: Why?
Ashley: You know why. Concentrate on that mission, Casanova.
Shepard: *sigh* yes Ma'am.
Ashley: Good man!

... a bit later ...

Shepard: Stupid. Why does everyone think it's something bad? I love that M54 Penetrator. That's the handgun my dad made for me when I was born. I used it only on some missions and it always hits. But noo ... I have no idea what Ash had in her mind, but she so totally got the wrong idea about that gun. Meh. Have to check it alone ...

@Data;  Nice dialogue! I couldn't help but laugh even though I knew exactly where it was going. And that name, sounds totally mass effect.

@AD; I have the feeling I'd mainly explore her fantastic excuses to get Ash into her quarters.

Dunno if Ashley can work with f!Shep in that way, but then again, it would be nice to do that. Maybe I'll make a f!Shep just for S/S!Shepley ...

f!Shep: Sorry. I'm out of ideas how to lure you into the loft.

well even Ashley's friendship path is amazing, all the characters have great relationships with Shepard.

Indeed. That's why it hurts to abandon Kaidan on Virmire ... he was a good friend to Shepard. Can't say that for all characters in ME2, but still - I care for them.

Of course, Ash is the one I care most, I just don't wanna lose her.

Oh, I'm sure my Femshep will craft better (=more outlandish) excuses and sceme's then that, she's crafty!

Yeah, one of my femsheps is waiting for Ash to say yes any minute now...

Honestly you should explore Kaidan's charcater too. HE's jsut as Awesome as Ashley is and it's not like leaving Ashley makes you less of a fan, and it gives you more oppourtunity to get to know his and other character's in ME2 you might avoid to kee your Ashley romance "faithful"

Ashley: It went all according to plan.
Shepard: I got STABBED. Right here *pulls up shirt to show bloodied bandage.
Ashley: I wasn't the one who decided to provoke someone into punching the sh!t out of me then riled them up so much that they decided to stab me instead.
Shepard: Those 'punches' weren't hard at all, seriously.
Ashley: Your face tells a different story.
Shepard: Oh c'mon! They felt like a little girls with glass bones.
Ashley: And I have to ask, how are you still even conscious after that?
Shepard: How do you think I paid for college?
Ashley: ... stole it from your dad's side of the family?
Shepard: Hell no! ... well, yea, I did when I wanted to buy a Guinness or dozen for my friends, but no.
Ashley: Fightclubs?
Shepard: Yep. Didn't always win, but I won enough.
Ashley: How did your parents approve of it.
Shepard: Mum didn't, Dad did the same thing, so he was apathetic about it.
Ashley: Wow. And what about the former Missus?
Shepard: How do you think I met her?
Ashley: ... stole her off an ex-boyfriend? Battered away during a fight.
Shepard: Hell no. First chick that beat me. Ours ended up as an antagonistic relationship to begin with.
Ashley: That's so cheesy.
Shepard: Yea, it kinda is, but it's also true.
Ashley: Bullsh!t. I thought you said she was cultured.
Shepard: 'Cultured', Yes, But she was bored. Came to the fights cause she wanted a little danger... of course that ended up with my nose and collarbones being broken. Was not easy to explain that one to mum.
Ashley: Wow. So, are you a masochist by nature or is it an acquired taste?
Shepard: What can I say. I've always liked tough chicks.

Sorry. I'm not much an fan of femshepard. My 'Pierce' Character was originally my Femshep, but she's developed into her own character with her own background and history now. In addition, I'm not much a fan of fem!shep to begin with. Sorry.

I felt that way about her at the beginning too and dumped my femSheps the first couple times I tried. But then I imagined her more as a martial artist meets sniper type of hero and now she is my main Shepard. Although I do love my Piers V. Shepard mucho and his relationship with Ash.

I see her in the same class as Michelle Yeoh (ballet dancer turn martial artist) who I absolutely admire. She carries herself with a very feminine grace but could kick butt when required.
