Are there any pictures of Ashley's armor (heavy armor)? I mean other than the go-go girl outfit.

I know of this:



But that seems to be just the concept art and the ones in the middle are the chosen armors.

Nope, Ashley has yet to be seen in combat, just in her casual outfits and that picture you posted I think she's going to be in medium armor in this game since vega is the designated Tank.

There is this better shot. It at least gives you a pretty solid idea.

I have a feeling he's going to be as popular as Wrex was., either by doing something badass in a cutscene, or just being damn useful in combat.

and now I'm incredibly interested in Ashley's activities i the past 3 years in game she's jumped from NCO to Commander in that time (which is 3 ranks IIRC) she must have done something pretty awesome. (I hope it had some effect on Shepard's ME2 mission.)

The regulations are in place for a reason, it's not realistic to -- you're not even listening."
Shepard: "No, I'm listening. Look, we should all just have your problems, you know. You're sitting here talking to a guy that was dramatically Killed In Action and subsequently resurrected to serve the goals of the king of megalomaniacs."
Ashley*moves toward the door*: "Put your boots on, let's go."
Shepard: "Out? We can't go out?"
Ashley: "Yeah, we can."
Shepard: "You know, just when this conversation starts to get emotionally complex, you wanna bail! Who's the guy in this relationship?"
Ashley: "You are, and as the guy you have a choice. You can either stay her and prove how sensitive you aren't...or we can go out, get out of this room.
Shepard: "Right...I'll get my boots."

I'm going to love the command dynamic on the Normandy with Ashley on it and Shepard reinstated. Technically they both command the Normandy so I think they could playfully argue over orders now.

Eh most likely they lost contact because the Reapers took out the comm buoys at the Charon Relay at that point.  If they'd taken out all human colonies already, humanity is pretty much screwed as a fighting force already.

true, plus the guy in the trailer says the Reapers ahve been on earth for a few weeks. Vigil does say that it was a slow process for the Reapers to wipe out (actually enslave) the protheans It seems that since Shepard has been the biggest and only thorn in their side they're taking out her species first starting with the homeworld. The colonies would follow after their main protection has been wiped out.
