Would love to see them live to that age, but I doubt Shepard would sit ideally by at a desk. The only reason he was at a desk in the beta was cause he had been grounded and striped of his commision. He's got it back now, but I doubt the alliance is going to survive the invasion. Maybe in a restored Alliance, she'll be a leading figure along with Shepard. But it's all speculation at this point.

Personally if my Shepard lives he's retiring after all this reaper crap is over, or at the very least taking a very long vacation. I saved the galaxy now I want to enjoy it.

Shepard isn't the kind of person, who knows how to relax. More over, I think he would be begging for more convestional missions. A drug bust here or there, maybe a few inflitrations, just 'Normal' things. Not this reaper/prothean crap.

edit: Besides, if the endings pan out in a way I can use, my Shepard is gonna be so mangled phyiscally and emotionally that he can't work again.

edit: Edit: Aside from that, he'd probably drift around on the Normandy doing missions that he has taken a personal interest in. Not following orders.

Depends on your Shepard.    Mine has a hard time relaxing so he'll probably never "retire."  He might eventually change to a less risky position though.  Other peoples' Shepards might be like "eff you all I'm out."  and head to a deserted island to live in seclusion.  ha!  Just depends.

Hopefully the epilogue, if there is one, isn't very detailed in that regard.

All I need to know is that Ash and Shep end ME3 together.  The rest I can fanfic.  LOL.

After this series, I reckon Shepard becomes the 'Extreme measure' or 'Last resort' if things go to hell. Aside from that he'll drift, and maybe learn how to surf. My Shepard's a spaceborn, he's never learned how to surf and always wanted to.

I still love the new look and hope that I can keep her in this outfit. I'm not a big armor fan.

I figure, even though the Reapers are enemies that don't play fair, hate all organic life and are bent on omnicide and destruction: Shepard would have some twisted sense of respect for the Reapers despite being the object of his hatred. They had spent countless 'cycles' exterminating life and lasted as long as they have. Too long for some, but you have to tip your hat to such a persistant enemy.

She sounded guinely happy to see him and that smile as he is walking away was priceless. I just saw so much emotion in her face as if she still cared deeply for him. So no anomosity! Was this a default beta leak...no romanced Shep? I think a romanced Shep with Ashely would react differently.

So after watching the part with Shepard & Ash this looks like it is going to be amazing.

When he looks at her on the Normandy I couldn't help but think ... 3-5 years ago approx Shepard and Ash started this fight against the reapers and now that they (reapers) are here there is no feeling of "I told you so" but "Ash, how are we going to win this battle?" It is a look that old friends, old comrades or both if you are lucky can give one another in the heat of a battle.

After seeing the little boy amidst all that destruction who cares about Horizon and what happened there. This is what is important ... us together again fighting to bring down the reapers like we (Shepard, Ash & the original crew) did before.

I thought the music was really moving as well. If this is just a hint of what is coming then I may need to take a week off because I will not be able to put down the game long enough to go to work.

I want to see Kaidan as well.

But this would work for my Shepard that did romance Ashley. That would not be the time or place to talk about their feelings. But once they are alone there are going to be some words and hopefully tears (good or bad doesn't matter ... I just want some emotion between the two.)

Was just going through the last few days worth of pages that were made since the beta. And there was one by Badpie that suddenly has me in a panic. They claimed all the colonies have gone dark during Shepard's meeting with the Defence Committee. How will Ashley react after learning there has been no contact with Amateratsu? Or that it may even be destroyed?!

*Reads last three pages* Have some people really forgotten that Bioware have said that Ash also has a proper armour with helmet, or do they just like to complain?

I didn't think the outfit really was her thing at first but she looks great, she doesn't look over the top the only thing she is wearing that doesn't really seem like something Ash would wear is the thigh high boots, I think the Spectre dress looks fantastic, probably custom made by the Alliance just for her seeing as it's bearing Alliance colours. Added to the fact we also get a armour for her I just know ME3 is going to be fantastic.

Also, That was really endearing, Shepard just watching the boy play with his spaceship. I thought it was sweet that he still knew how to smile despite all he's been through.

They could've been moved to the Citadel, I presume it's the safest place in the Galaxy now as they can just close it's arms and everyone inside is safe, with her being a Spectre now I'm sure it wouldn't be much trouble, and she can finallly take her sisters to Flux! *Imagines the Flux music and all the Williams sisters dancing with Shepard standing there wondering if he should show them all his moves*

The citadel was created by the Reapers. THey would probably be able to undo what Vigil's datafile did to the base and create countermeasures to further prevent it from happening. They may be machines, but they learn.

edit: My fem Shep, otherwise known as 'Pierce' can breakdance. A hobby of hers is Capoeria, a brazillian style (cause her ansestory is brazillian before her family moved to the colonies.)

I guess you're right, but for the time being they're thinking about taking out the home planets, it sounds like they might leave the Citadel to last, It does make a good excuse for the Citadel to be a hub world in ME3 I guess.

People just like to complain. If people watched the demos and that is what they are focused on then okay. Of course it's funny that she was standing next to a guy in a t-shirt but the mass was screaming why she wasn't in armor.

I will say that if I'm given an option I will have her in that outfit since I'm not into big armor myself.

If I wanted "realism" then I wouldn't play a game with asaris, turians, salarians, krogans, etc.

It makes me  that people say that her in that outfit breaks their immersion while they also look at these aliens in game ... that is where I have to take off my adult glasses and pretend like a child. If I can believe I'm fighting with an asari warping, a krogan charging and a thresher maw ... well, threshing? ... then Ashley fighting in a leather jacket is still more realistic at the end of the day to me.

Indeed, I really dont see anything wrong with it seeing as kinetic barriers are the biggest protection from enemy fire, she really doesn't need the armour too much. The only problem that kinetic barriers dont protect against is toxins, extreme temperatures and toxins, and if we're on a planet that has any of this I assume she'll wear her armour instead.

I suppose it could also be a tactical decision? A Spectre makes people feel uncomfortable wherever they go, if she isn't in a full combat suit she will draw less attention and will be able to perform her duties without many people taking notice, it's more durable than armour too, being a Spectre requires some subtlely sometimes so she may requre more finesse at times other than just charging in and blowing sh*t up.

Based on that Logic, Shepard's a failed Spectre. Everything he goes near tends to suffer a severe case of 'KA-BOOM!!!!!!' followed by infernos, sometimes nuclear.
