Ash is a great, it's good to see her back in the team. I noticed she has a spectre uniform, and has a new rank. How did she become so? Sorry if that's obvious question, I've only just seen the leaked footage.

We are yet to find out, I assume that she was put forward for the position when Shepard died though, humanity needed a new Spectre the VS were the next best qualified for the job, worked closely with Shepard, helped save the Galxay, a perfect fit, I also assume it was Anderson who recommended her.

Ah, i see, thank you. That does seem ike a logical explanation. It's something to ponder i guess. :D

I do look foward to finding out, though.

Ah, but I downloaded the leak, and now I have bigger and better ones, oh ho ho ho.

Quality is blargh, but they'll look better after a touch-up and a resize.  I'll drop a few here after I finish the avatar.

ALSO, I cannot wait for epic squad banter between Ash and Garrus.  I imagine poor Garrus isn't too happy that Ash made Spectre when he dropped out... twice.

But Ash is no Space Batman!

Neither is Garrus. He's sort of trying for Space Punisher. Definitely a Marvel hero anyway. DC's pretty obsessive about Killing Is Morally Wrong Always and Batman is that theory's patron saint.

I hope she teases him about it. I love Ash when she's teasing.

I tried my best to ignore the complaints about ashley's redesign, but was this really necessary Bioware?

So, from the leaked videos, it is revealed that Ash is now a Lieutenant Commander. She made the jump from a non-commissioned officer to a commissioned officer in a little over two years.

If the Alliance is anything like today's modern military, they would require a university degree to obtain an officer rank. According to her dossier, Ashley enlisted right out of high school. So, when did she have time to get a degree? Was she taking University of Phoenix online classes while she was stationed on Horizon?

Then again, this is 174 years int he future with a species wide government and such. the military is much different especially with the Spectre's playing a part now that humanity is part of the Galaxy's highest govrnment. Put that into the fact that Ashley's saved the galaxy before and stopped a reaper with Shepard and that's a hell of a commendation. "for destroying a sentient starship bent on organic extinction....here's a promotion of 5 ranks."

Woa-ho-hoah!  Hey there!

Is it any more attention grabbing than the strategically placed BUTT PADS her armor always had?  I'll start worrying when an entire camera angle is dedicated to her ass like Miranda.  Even then I will be torn between shaking my fist in feminist rage and loving every minute of butt screen time.

As for the college degree/officer thing, don't forget Shepard enlisted at 18 too with presumably no college education.

why hello there!

It's not bad, it's not like it's zoomed in on her ass, camera is focused on Shepard and ashley's running up behind him.Posted Image

Maybe, but I really like the image of her taking classes. I bet she'd be an English major since she's such a huge poetry buff. ;)

Shep signed on as an officer and presumably went to Academy for the first four years of her military career.

I imagine it would be pretty easy for Ash to take courses during her long stint as an NCO, though. It's not like she had anything better to do with her time, given all the crap no-action posts she always ended up assigned to.

I can't understand it either both Ashley and Kaidan promotion is abit off if you think about it.
Kaidan - in Mass effect one Staff Lieutenant
Kaidan - in Mass effect two Lieutenant Commander.
Now in Mass effect three he jump to Major missing staff Commander.

Now let look at Ash.
Ash was a Gunnery Chief in Mass effect one
Ash was promoted to the rank of Operations Chief in Mass effect two
now in Mass effect three she jump four ranks in little of two years.

I hope they promoted joker too because that will really sucks.

Trust me, I love a nice ass as much as the next guy, it's just such an odd design for a human combat uniform that my picture confirms it was tailor made just for that view.

I believe Kaiden was a Staff Commander in Mass Effect 2. Jumping 2 ranks in 2 years is way more plausible than 2 ranks in a few months. However I agree with you 100% on Ashley. Her jump seems quite excessive.
