Considering that Joker left the Alliance how do you think that they will have him back onboard the Normandy now that it is Alliance? It will be interesting to see how they put Joker, Chakwas, and any of the Cerberus crew back onboard the Normandy.

well the reason they joined cerberus was for shepard and because joker was grounded and so cerberus got him to fly the normandy SR2 and chakwas joined because joker did he needed her help so most likely they will go back to the alliance or somethingPMC65 wrote...

They reinstated them obviously. Most of them were ex-Alliance like Shepard was.
At some point I do see past crewmates jumping onboard but if the game starts with Joker, Chakwas, Gabby, Ken, etc onboard I'll have to shake my head. I'd prefer that Shepard finds them along the way and brings them back onboard.
Somewhere he finds Joker in some bar and Chakwas in a med center, etc. That would make it seem more truthful than both ping-pong playing with the Alliance. "I quit the Alliance ... oh, they put Shepard in chains? ... Ok, I rejoin the Alliance". That wouldn't make sense to me at all.

So what do you think Ash's position will be again? Ash n' Shep are both Spectres... so they don't follow chain of command....
and if Ash is a Spectre.... how come she's a Leuteniant?
She is Lieutenant Commander of the Normandy, just like you were before Anderson left the Normandy. She is still a Spectre, but only second in command of the Normandy.

in the beta leak video... did anyone happen to notice if there was a spectre logo on Ashley's uniform when picking up Shepard on the Normandy?

Hmm ... I'll pick the "Spectre Ash: is she a loner or does she have a team" one.
Lemme think about it - I guess she'll work alone or with only one other person to do her job. She's not the most social person and tends to make stuff on her own. Maybe because she's not that social like Shepard OR because she doesn't want to put someone's life in danger - the later one sounds good to me. Ash also seems to be too reserved towards people she doesn't know, plus being a "realist" she won't recruit a big team.
Does Spectre Ash have a ship, besides being interim CO of the Normandy? Most likely. Guess she'll have a special modified fighter for solo missions or a prototype long range shuttle.
My 2 cents
Ash actually strikes me as very social, she fit's in well when she joins the Normandy in ME1, it's only a matter of minutes before she starts teaing Joker. I think it depends on the situation, most cases she'll probably work by herself, but other times in thick combat situations she'll probably have a squad of other Alliance marines, we know Ash is a great Leader already, one who's strict but fair.
Ash has the Normandy, atleast while Shepard's in chains, other than that? Who knows. I assume she would be given one after Shepard is reinstated (A Spectre needs a ship) but she chooses to stay onboard the Normandy and work with Shepard instead.
Slow day today, I guess some people are still upset about the spoilers?
Ashley is definitely a social creature. She may lack some more subtle social graces but I figure there aren't many career soldiers that care much about that sort of thing. She's always been talkative and clearly had a good relationship with her unit on Eden Prime. The fact that Nirali Bhatia talked to her about personal things suggests she had a lot of friends. I always saw her as the type who loved to go out for beers with her crew and dancing with her girls. And is most definitely a shot instigator but doesn't usually get wasted. She just likes a nice warm buzz.
I think Ash is also into semi-casual, semi- regular flings with men. Something that fits her schedule on her terms she sets. And I feel like none of those men, whoever she's dating at the time are military. At least not within the same zip code. hehehe.
And oh, I loved this.
I thought we were just speculating that Ash was on the Normandy, not that it had been confirmed that she has been commanding it. Though I suppose it would make sense that she has the "keys" so to speak when she and Vega pick up Shepard. In my version she loves dancing, Vogue magazine, shoots tequila better than most but prefers Irish coffee, is an avid runner & cyclist, would kill for a plate of sliced tomatoes, mashed potatoes and top sirloin steak, has a mad crush on the old matinee idol Gregory Peck (To Kill A Mockinbird is her favorite movie) so much that she dated an attorney briefly because of Peck's Atticus Finch portrayel.

Horizon wasn't an issue for me ...*snip*
I don't use the "Bioware wanted to keep the VS/Liara off the Normandy"
or "Bioware wanted you to cheat" in my view of those scenes. I have to
play it as is and through Shepard's eyes only.*snip*
Once again, your opinion is very refreshing to read in this thread and one I do share. Thank god I am not alone on this! I felt a little outnumbered in the past ;-)

Once ME3 comes out I will avoid the board again to enjoy my games through mine & Shepard(s) eyes without taking on other people's luggage. *snip*
My plan as well: I will stay away from the BSN for at least the first six playthroughs, 3 male, 3 female, one of each class.

And I agree with all of this.
She may appear to be shy to some at first, because she really is out of her element, when she joins the Normandy crew and enters a whole new world of alien cultures. We all know how uneasy she feels about them aboard the Normandy poking around vital systems. She has to get her bearings first.
She definately likes to flirt, she is only reluctant to do so at first, because the context is one, where you normally don't do that: a military mission. Once she gets comfortable in her new place, she is very open, social and even flirty.
The semi-casual, semi-regular flings are something I also see very likely for her (Boys, they have their uses.)
She loves her independence, I think really commiting to a relationship isn't something, she does very easily, but she definately likes to play and is rather experiencend.

EDI refused to let the Alliance crew into the Normandy's system, unless she got her one true helmsman back.

Casually, Miranda would wear something like Julliette Has A Gun's Citizen Queen. For a classy evening out she'd choose a timeless fragrance such as Chanel No. 5 or Shalimar by Guerlain. Jack would prefer something bold and harsh like Marc Jacob's Bang, but she'd also enjoy Lady Vengenace. I don't see Ashley being too big on perfume so she'd go for something simple like Tommy Girl when the mood struck her. I could also see her wearing a fragrance like Guerlain's Vetiver, her father and grandfather's favorite fragrance, in fond remembrance.
