Well we have but it's always good to here a new idea. Can't recall my idea on the subject, though if repelling an alien armada hell bent on the death of all sentient life again then there's no hope.

And it leads me to a Dialogue.

Shepard: Hey Ash ... what do you think of our last mission?

Shepard: Yup. Took a while to find out about him, but ... it was General Joshua L. Chamberlain.
Ashley: 20th Maine? That Chamberlain?
Shepard: Indeed. Good man, at least what I heard of him.
Ashley: Now, at least it explains your paragonish attitude, Skipper. I read a lot of him - seems as if he saw a lot of action. And got wounded six times. Tough guy. And all without armor or any kinetic barriers!
Shepard: I know some stuff from a book he wrote, but besides that ... I'm in that family tree since I met you. Not before ... so hadn't much time to explore every single branch or my ancestors.
Ashley: Nice to hear, Skip *smiles* So there's still something left to explore ...
Shepard: Seems so. 'nuff history for now?
Ashley: Yeah, enough for now. But I'd like to come back to that point later. This evening, 9pm?
Shepard: If we're still alive then, sure, Ash. Anything special?

And I was referring to Killer Angels ... that's why all the historical stuff in my dialogue.

I unfortunately have no internet on my home network, so I have no choice but to browse on my phone. If at all possible, I would like to avoid the writing of dialogues tonight. How about I have two written fanfiction one-shots ready to go for your enjoyment tomorrow? I don't have much of anything else to do tonight. Skyrim has already lost its hype for me. I don't know what I want, Skipper. I'm just not ready yet for more than what we have now. Do you think we can settle down one day? Just you and me and a small house on a lonely colony? The heroes of the Battle of Citadel and first human Spectres settling down, dropping their armor and guns for good? Nah. I don't believe in that future. Hmmm ... sad & nicely written.
I like how Shepard describes himself as "feeling like his body is a puppet" and "memories feel hollow and distant". I wonder if he can make peace with himself and that he's in an unique position no one can understand.

I don't know if I am still this man - or someone entirely different. I may look like him, speak like him, share same thoughts and memories - but am I truly John Shepard.
That gives me a lot of headache.
Need some time to think about it.

I'll work with Cerberus as long as I have to. Need to finish the job first - I'll have to find out more about the Collectors. It'll take some time and I can't promise anything yet - but I want to come back and talk to you again.

I'm not sure if Councillor Anderson has already contacted you but I felt I should let you know. The mission a told you about on Horizon, helping to upgrade the colonies defence systems. That was only part of my mission there. I can't tell you the specifics, this mission was classified. The colony was attacked by the Collectors and they where starting to take the colonists, when someone turned up and stopped them. It was John. He forced back the ground troops and activated the colonies defence towers to force the mother ship to leave.

If he hadn't turned up none of us would of got out of there alive. But when I talked to him I was so angry, he said he'd been in a coma for the past 2 years and was acting if it was only yesterday he was on the Normandy SR1. I was finally starting to move on and now he's come back from the dead. I don't know what to do I said things that now I regret, it's just such a mess I need time to think things through, maybe I'll send him a message try to explain.

I'm happy that you've got him back, I know how much you've missed him
