Here we are, fan-written e-mails for Shepley.
Ashley's E-mail to Shepard. They're on seperate missions SpecTRe missions post war.
Hey Skip',
How are you? I'm sorry that I couldn't email ya before now. You know, same old, same old. SpecTRe Missions and all that BS. God - I miss you! And It sucks. I only have a minute to write this, but by god I wish you were here. The Assignment - acting like a glorified baby-sitter, is a hellava lot easier than the Councilors made it out to be.
C'mon? Like someone'd be stupid enough to attack them (Saren was possessed, he doesn't count.) in their own council room? With half a dozen SpecTRes standing guard? Sounds suicidal to me. Heh - I know you make a killing (pardon the pun) on winning those kinds of things. Hell, you probably magically set things in your favour? Heh.
Anyway, gotta log now. Sent ya a photo. How you like it.
Miss you, Love you.<3
Ash.
PS. Keep out of trouble. I know you.
-----
And Shepard's reply.
Glad to hear from you, love. What? Would you rather face a massive outslaught of omnicidal robots bent on the destruction of all organic life in the 'verse? I hope the Answer's 'no'. Already died once for that war, it was hard enough coming back the first time. Heh. Anyway, I know it's boring, but don't let your guard down love.
And remember the rule? If something's too easy, it's a trap. I know I'm supposed to be an optimist, but I'm not - not anymore. Sad but true. Joker and EDI are acting like an old married couple, James and Garrus spent an afternoon b!tching about the arrangement of the main guns and the Armory. Seriously. I caught James tinkering with one of your weapons. 'Making it better' he said, and the thing jammed up almost saying 'Screw you' kind of funny, but it was my Revanant he was playing with. And now it's broken. Still trying to get it to work again, but my hand's aren't nearly as deft as yours when it comes to these these things.
I miss you, a lot. And I really can't wait 'til your back with us. Blowing up mercs is fine and all, but I miss having you around. Rox is trying her best to pick up the slack, but it's not as fun without both of you here.
Anyway, gotta sign off. Got an inflitration mission. It's fun watching things burn (yes, I'm a pyromaniac, I know) but still, not as much fun if you're not here.
Love you, Ash.
PS. Love the photo, send more.

The game is not done by anyone's definition. Let's end the conspiracy theories that keep popping up on threads.
On Nov. 1st Casey tweeted that they were reviewing romance plots.

Nov. 10-11th senior writers are still writing in game content.

It's called crunch for a reason.
As far as feedback goes, I can personally attest to the fact that forums/facebook/twitter are monitored and sentiment is reported (by me and other awesome people on our community team). Feedback is absolutely critical to game development, as I've said here, and you should continue giving feedback in a civil and constructive manner with good intentions. No one's going to take someone seriously that spews hate and argumentative behavior. We have really exemplary community members here and I want you to know that we are in fact listening.
And to quote Ray from the OP article:
"You edit it continually. It's a living process to build a game and it's also a living experience to play through it. You're seeing the graphics, you're seeing the choices, you're seeing the characters. Words alone on a page, they're not delivered in voice over, they're not delivered in the interface, they're not delivered as your character, with your choices up to that point imbuing them with meaning and purpose and identity, the emotion part of it.
"A lot of the art now in video games is developed in an interesting way where subtle expressions and facial animation, a tilt of the head, the way the camera is positioned, the lighting in a room, they can set the tone and the mood, the sound effects, the layer of audio that's put over the top of a scene, that stuff is really important.
"What I would suggest to the fans is, we're going to make sure we deliver an awesome experience as we have in prior Mass Effect games. Don't spoil the story. The fun of the story is uncovering things and exploring and finding new points to adventure in. I hope they don't lose that joy of discovery."
I should go.
