That's right, but still - the statement lacked any explanation. It's like as if I would say: "Tali is acting like a teenager." In the Tali fan thread. No explanation why, just a plain statement. That doesn't help a bit to keep the fandom together, such statements separate.

Sure, Shepard is quite "shady", especially a renegade Shepard, especially in ME2. That's okay for me. And it's also okay that Ashley refuses to follow -this- Shepard. However, Ashley -should- follow Shepard in ME3 once he has proven he's trustworthy. If she still refuses to accept his lead, she's acting ... odd. To use a polite word. I simply don't believe that will happen. Either because of Shepard's past actions (proving he's a good man), by their past relationship, whatever. She can't have forgotten all that. Then again, butchering a character for the drama was done before and could be done with Ashley / Kaidan in ME3. Lets hope not.

Uhhh ... rant. Sorry for that. I want dialogues ^^

This is the Ashley fan thread. Your statement would be true, if if were the Shepard support thread.

I would concur if not half of the guys in here are Shepley fans as well - besides that, I simply hate one-liners. They do not contribute anything to a debate - and you know as good as me that we also talk a lot about Shepard here and his (sometimes her) relationship to Ashley.

Second day in a row I'm not happy when reading the Ashley thread by the way.
Guess I need some days "off duty".

no. she wasl already a gunnery chief in ME1, and an Op chief in ME2. She's the same Rank as Shepard is (Kaidan outranks shepard if he's alive in Me2 and now 3) we don't know how she becomes a spectre yet, we'll find out in backstory or something hopefully.

hmmm i must admit  the whole military ranking system confuses me sometimes.  interesting she that she become one considering her distrust of aliens  her atitude must've changed some what  

I think the reason she's been ranked to Commander is becuse of her joining of the Spectre's. A Spectre needs a ship, so they need to be in Command, even though Ash chooses to work with Shepard so theres no need of her own ship for the time being, but the rank is still needed.

You're really wondering why I feel like that? Na, doesn't matter anymore. I'm out until mood is cooling down here. Can sense more hate than Ashley-talk right now, mostly because aforementioned one-liners only placed in that damn thread to provoke even more heat.
Besides that it's always the same stuff: Ash being racist, Shep being moron, Ash being zealot ... miss the more friendly times.

Nevermind. Need some calming tea and something to discuss, a dialogue or two and maybe I'll be fine. Just let us keep out any stuff that increases heat.

I thought we all agreed to lay off the old, boring, ages-old argument of 'Ash is a racist Zealot', since we, as Ashley's supporters understand and respect that not EVERYONE is going to like her.

THe only reason I'm on the net now, is because I've tethered my phone to my PC. And I did not appreciate the load of crap I had just read over the past couple of pages.

Same here (I did have a little rant about graphics quality -http://social.biowar...942/446#8713315) Sorry about that, I was just so P*ssed off with all the racial c*ap and Ashley new look that I couldn't think about dialogues and pictures until I got it off my chest. 
 
Didn't post much after that until today, have spent some time building a website about my Mass effect playthoghs - Different Shepards I have, Service records from ME1 and ME2 playthroughs, Achievements, Dialogues, Pictures and soon the first chapters of a mass effect story I've been writing (inspired by Auroas work)

Hehe. I haven't got much of anything left I'm afraid. The re-write of Duet Effect is at a standstill (especially cause I have no internet to speak of aside from my poor phone.) so, I'm fairly stumped. And Halcyon isn't going the greatest either.Too many ideas for everything.

Should I start Shepard and Ashley together on the 3rd Normandy?

Should I leave him in his current state (not a pretty one),
Should he be in a coma while being treated for indoctrination (it can be overcome, Shiala from Feros proves that)? 
Should he have been partially effected by the Adjudants? (Enemy in the invasion Comic, look it up.)
Or partially transformed into a 'Reaper-Avatar' (look up Paul Grayson on wikia)?
Left with a permenant biotic ability because of that?

Where should Ash be? At home? On a mission?
Does her family survivor? How does it reflect in her attitude?
In that dump of an outpost waiting for her bitter reunion with her lover?
Or waiting eagerly by his side for him to wake up?

So many ideas and not practical or believable to do them all.

Hmm, just let Ash and Shepard be together and happy, but at some point some nasty stuff happens so both are separated by distance and emotions for a while. Just keep their relationship interesting ...
