I surpose part of the problem for us Ashley fans is that we got very little out of ME2 just like the Kaiden fans did so we're speculating a lot more about them, where as Liara and LI form ME2 had more resalution due to a lot more interaction with them. Which is why we've always got a lot of shepard mixed in with Ashley here - nothing yet has really been resolved. At least until we get our hands on ME3.

P.S. i'm not direspecting Liara and other LI's as I have playthroughs for most of them which i'll be importing into 
        ME3.

I merely pointed out a fact  and data went all ragequit in repsonse. Apparently dissenting opinions to the "consensus" are no longer welcome. So I leave you in your "Brave New Shepley world" formerly known as the Ashley Williams support thread, which should be open to any opinion as opposed to a closed group.

well i have to see what you said to really to commit to anything. i hate to see you go but that's your choice, but its their support group they can do what they want with it. if you want to voice something make your own thread or something no ones forcing you to stay or go.

Yeah, and that was my point. Though, I doubt she would harm the jewels... probably a good firm punch though. 

BUT I also think she would secretly (that being the key word) like it. B/c remember, she likes sensitive stuff too.

I can probably even remember how many clouds were in the sky when they shipped us out for out first assignments. Nothing is really clear afterwards. I've been to dozens of colonies as ground-side infantry. I wanted to get space time, but  I never imagined I would be shipped onto the newest Ship. The newest prototype, Commanded by Captain David Anderson no less. And I never expected to be filling a deadman's boots, and I didn't want to hear that I ended up killing the XO, either.

As it stands, he's in some kind of coma in sickbay. Something to do with that beacon? I don't know. God, of course it has to do with that thing. I was only exposed for a few seconds before he tossed me out of the way, and it feel like it was trying to pull my mind in a dozen different directions. Trying to crack into it. It was a brief, indescribable pain. But he was trapped in that thing's pull for minutes, then hit by the system overload and out cold. God only knows what it was like for him. I guess all I can do it pray, and I need to see Chakwas about my bandages anyway. Good a reason as any to see how he's doing right?"

Ash pondering her new station on the Normandy after Eden Prime. Not as adept as CptData is  at doing these fanquotes, but I've just got no good dialogue ideas that don't involve OCs or spoilers - either ingame or in Halcyon.

intented to do this. I just felt some guys (and elek was -NOT- one of those firing a lot of rounds against Shepard to indirectly damage Ashley as well. It's as if you tell a good friend she has no idea what she's doing when dating that particular guy you insult in some way - you are also insulting that friend by questioning her decision.

Difficult to explain, but it felt like that. However, that's old news, so I don't care anymore.

Here's something Aurora! not very inspired, but here goes:
6:00 AM, Shepard's bunk.

Ashley: Hey, wake up time!
Shepard: *Grumbles* Ash leave me be...
Ashley: Oh we aren't gonna make this difficult, are we?
Shepard: What got you so cheerful...it's night remember..
Ashley: Sleep, guess what, turning in for the night early..works! C'mon! *Tickles his side*
Shepard: Ga-ha..Stop it! Let me die in peace! *violently turns over*
Ashley: I have a remedy for people who want to die, I believe..
Shepard: No, a boomstick isn't a remedy! Not for someone who's goddam sick, my head feels like bursting.
Ashley: Oh..Sick huh? Sorry John, thought you were playing, I'll be friendly.
Shepard: Nah I'm not playing, not so good at faking death. Ash could you do me a favour and get me something disgustingly healthy..Like orange juice?
Ashley: Sure. Coming right up!

*a couple of minutes later* Shepard lies in bed, head resting in his hands, which in turn rest on the pillow.

Ashley: Here you go, even got you something to eat. It's the least digusting looking food I could find.
Shepard: Thanks, that's lovely. *Has a big grin on his face, puppy eyes* Could you also get me some coffee? against the headache.
Ashley: As well, I-...sure.
Shepard: Oh thanks, oh and that book you were reading the other day? to keep me entertained.
Ashley: ... don't push  your luck now..
Shepard: Hey, have some respect for the sick! Oh and while you're at it get Gardner to make me one of those little cupcakes, would you?
Ashley: You know, I think I have just what you want!
Shepard: Really?
Ashley: Just wait and see!

*A few minutes later* The door to Shepards cabin slid open

Wrex: Ashley said you were ill and wanted to know some Krogan methods against illness, good call Shepard! I'll get you fixed up in no time!
Shepard: *Jumps out of bed, orange juice flying all over the floor* I'm up! I'm up! *Shouts whilst quickly trying to get his outfit on* God! Can't I ever try to get some peace!
Wrex: Hey I haven't even started yet! you should get back in bed Shepard.
Shepard: No no, I should go, Wrex! *Rushes out of his room, bumping in to Ashley grinning*

After my last post I've been thinking about the relationship between Ashley and Liara. I was reading a post on this thread a while ago about how they would react to each other in ME3. Since I have both as LI in separate playthoughs, But for this thread I will use my No 1 Shepard which has Ashley as a Love interest. I never done this with Ashley and Liara Please let me Know what you think.

Ashley: Come in
Liara: Chief Williams I'm not disturbing you am I?
Ashley: Yes...ur....No....No you're not, please come in.
Liara: I've just spoken to Councillor Anderson he tells me the Alliance has called of the search
Ashley: He told me, They've now listed him as MIA.
Liara: I'm sorry, we where all hoping they would find him.
Ashley: HE'S DEAD, I've known that ever since we picked up Jokers escape pod and Shepard wasn't there.
Liara: He still could of suvived.
Ashley: Then he would be here by now, He wouldn't have left it this long if he was still alive, He wouldn't do that to me......I mean to us
Liara: I know you two had become close that is to say if you want someone to talk to......
Ashley: YOU, if I did want to talk you'd be the last person I would come to! You where to one who was trying to get Shepard into bed when you knew I "Liked him"
Liara: I mistook Shepards offers of friendship as something more, I didn't know then that you where falling in love with him.
Ashley: So that makes everything better does it?
Liara: No is doesn't. But when I lost Benezia it was you who thought I needed someone to talk to, someone to help me through it
Ashley: He told you that? So that's why you're here to repay a debt?
Liara: No, he told me that no matter what my mother had done she still loved me and that I would always have the best of her right here *Places hand on her heart*, nothing or nobody could ever take that away from me.
Ashley: I know......It's just I want him here with me, every time I close my eyes I relive the last time we saw each other, it fills me with such anger and regret because I never told him "I Love You" and now I never will.

*Ashley sides down the wall and curls up into a ball, Tears start to fall from her eyes*

Ashley: *in a soft voice* Dam you T'Soni you always bring out strong emotions in me first mistrust, then anger and jealousy now this
Liara: *Kneels down beside her* I know, but you're not alone, we're here, you can talk to us, you don't need to do this by yourself.
Ashley: *wiping the tears away* Thank you
Liara: What are friends for?
Ashley: No not just for that, for being so determined that you got me to admit to myself what I was feeling.
Liara: I must be picking up some of your bad habits *cracks a little smile at Ashley*
Ashley: *Chuckles a little and smiles* gee thanks.

Very nice Alliance! It'd be nice to see some character development between these two characters, I wonder if (hope) they'll touch on that in ME3.

So do I. In part thats why I wrote it. I think there could be some really good character devlopment - they start out as un trusting allies then they both start to have feelings for the same man, then they both feel loss when shepard "Dies". So while shepards away they could become friends. Reuniting in ME3 they could even team up and really give shepard a hard time (in a good, funny way of course).

Plus in ME1 Ashley and Liara are my one and only team.

It's old news now ... however, nice to read it. Especially since I'm used to have most interesting debates with you 

About Shepard's shadier side - guess it depends on "headcanon". My Shep -had- to do that job for Cerberus but did it for the galaxy, not for Cerberus (like Tali claims she's working for Shepard, not for Cerberus). Of course, Ashley doesn't know it. Whatever, still old news.

As I promised before - special gift for Aurora:

Ashley's thoughts about Shepard after Eden Prime.
Shepard - that's his name. While he was in coma I had some time to read the official files. Shepard is called the "Hero of Elysium", is already a legend. Besides that, there's not much in the files, everything else is classified. N7 stuff. Heard of them before - some kind of elite unit, like SAS.
Yesterday he woke up. Talked to me a bit, said it hadn't been my fault. Told me I had done what I could. It felt good - never got a commendation from a superior officer. Because of my name, because of my grandfather. General Williams. But he did. A commendation by a hero. Yes, guess he had no idea who he's talking to. Maybe he doesn't even want to keep me on the Normandy anymore once he knows more ...
Then again, I believe he's not like that. He's a soldier, like me, not a bureaucrat - maybe he doesn't give a sh!t on the files, but on my performance ...

Besides his uniform ... there is more. Not his looks ... but his entire presence. A born leader on the battlefield. Maybe even more. I can't put my finger on it, but he looks like one who's ready to make history. Someone who makes a difference.



Shepard's thoughts about Ashley after Eden Prime
She was there, all time. Don't know why she was watching me while I was in coma. Williams. Good soldier, besides that, I have no idea about her. The name sounds familiar - General Williams, the very one who surrendered to the Turians years ago. Heard his name got blacklisted since then. But it would be coincidence if Ashley Williams is a relative to him. And even if she's his granddaughter - she isn't him, it doesn't matter.
I wonder why she never applied for the N7. We could use more soldiers like her - tough, determined. After all she survived her entire unit, while fighting off Geth. Need to find out more about her. Getting her files shouldn't be too difficult.

And yesterday? Don't know why she was always smiling whenever I was talking to her. Just told her she did a good job. Seems she's not used to get commendations often. Or she's ... no, that's nonsense, John. She knew you for just a few hours then, not enough to develop feelings, not even for friendship. And still, she was watching me all the time while I was in coma. Should talk about that one day. Maybe once this is over.

Alliance, that's a nice dialogue! BTW, I think that after battle on the Citadel and after Shepard died Liara and Ash if not became friends, but at least got used to each others company. I thisnk Ash won't be so mistrusted against Liara in ME3... She will have Miranda for mistrust))
