For those of you who saw my dialouge between Ashley and Liara about losing shepard  http://social.biowar...942/453#8720884  I've wrote another part set some time after the start of ME3. See if you think this is more emotional and dramatic than the first part:

Deck 1 The Loft
02.30hrs
*Shepard and Ashley are asleep after a very long day*

Shepard: hur......hur....no..no....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Ashley: John what's wrong?
Shepard: nothing....it's nothing
Ashley: Stop trying to protect me, tell me what's wrong
Shepard: It's just a bad dream, it doesn't mean anything
Ashley: It's happened 3 nights in a row, either tell me or I'm sleeping in my cabin from now on.

*Shepard gets up dripping with sweat and grabs a glass of water from his bedside table*

Shepard: gulp.....I.....I don't know why I can't get this out of my head it was over 3 years ago?
Ashley: Back on the old Normandy?
Shepard: The day we where attacked by the collectors, The day I died.
Ashley: You've never talked about it. I thought it was because you couldn't remember?
Shepard: I remember......All of it. Telling you to go, getting to Joker, then.....
Ashley: Then what?
Shepard: The heat of the collector beam as it came between me and Joker, my skin felt it was on fire but my blood was ice cold. Just as I launched the escape pod I felt this wave of energy hit me crushing every bone in my body.
Ashley: What happened next?
Shepard: I was finally able to open my eyes, I saw what was left of the Normandy crumble and break-up. I then noticed that my suit had been damaged and was leaking oxygen. My muscles tightened and my lungs started to burn I knew at that moment I wasn't going to get out of this one......
Ashley: Oh John, I should never of left you
Shepard: I ordered you to go if I hadn't you could of died or both of us
Ashley: You don't know that for sure, you don't have to do everything yourself, I'm here and I'm not going anywhere.
Shepard: That's just it....You're always there. Those last moments felt like an eternity all I could think about was you. Everything we did together....every battle....every talk....even your cute smile, everything except the one thing I never told you.
Ashley: What John, What was it you never told me?
Shepard: I Love You.......
Ashley: ........and I Love You, always have and always will
Shepard: But I don't know what the future holds, we could be dead tomorrow
Ashley: Yes we could.....That's why we can't waste time bottling up our feelings, keeping secrets from each other. No more lies....no more secrets just you and me...Ok. Now come back to bed.

It's the goddamn eyebrows, man.  They must have been overtweaked when they gave her a new skin texture.

Shepard: Whats the matter Doctor?
Chakwas: Would you step out here for a minute?
Patient #1: That doesn't sound good.
Patient #2: Ten creds says he has to stay for another year.
Shepard: *flips them off as he leaves. They laugh.*
Chakwas: I hadn't realised that you knew those two.
Shepard: Nate and Dario? I grew up with Dario, and in the same N7 class as Nate. So yea, we know each other.
Chakwas: I see. Must have been nice to see them again. Despite the circumstances.
Shepard: It helps when you have people to talk about it. But more to the point, is there something wrong? Have my treatments been ...?
Chakwas: Oh, No. Nothing wrong. Ashley is here to see you.
Shepard: Really? I thought that she wasn't gonna visit 'til I was in Stage Five of the treatment.
Chakwas: Apparently not. Anyway, she's in the visitor room. And I'm sure you know that it's impolite to keep a lady waiting.

Shepard *thanks Chakwas and goes to visitor room*
Ashley: John. *runs and gives him a hug*
Shepard: Ash, I thought you weren't gonna come visit for a while.
Ashley: I'm sorry, I wasn't able to come sooner. I've been swamped with work.
*looks at his appearance. A black patch over his right eye, and bandages disappearing under his hoodie and around his neck.*
Shepard: I'm jealous. At least you're doing something.
Ashley: Why? You're sitting on your ass and playing cards with your new buddies as I hear it.
Shepard: That, and I also helped a little girl. Found her hiding in my room a few days ago. Calmed her down, she was just scared of getting treated, so I took her to Chakwas and I've been keeping an eye on her since.
Ashley: And you say said that you weren't the 'parenting' type.
Shepard: Can't do a worse job than my step-dad did, I figure.
Ashley: *arms wrapped loosely around him, he's loosely hugging her too.* So anyway, how long until you get out of here?
Shepard: *pondering thought* As of two days ago? I'm at 'Stage Four'. Basically means they've removed or deactivated all the harmful tech in me. If all goes well with 'Stage Five', I should be out in about two weeks.
Ashley: And what's Stage Five?
Shepard: Skin-regen, scar treatments. You know, stuff for vanity's sake.
Ashley: What about that eye?
Shepard: I can still use it. Truthfully I could actually leave now, but I just don't want to leave looking like something from that old Twentieth Century vid. Uh - 'Termination' I think it was? Or Terminator? Gah, I don't know.
Ashley: Why, John. I never knew you were so concerned over your vanity! *teasing*
Shepard: I'm not! ... Much.
Ashley: Well, I think the eye-patch is cute. Makes you look like a space-Pirate.
Shepard: *false exasperation* Well, Darn. So much for trying to make myself out as a Space Cowboy.
Ashley: Hehe. I'm just teasing you. I can't wait 'til you get out. I've been keeping your seat warm, but it's not the 'Normandy' with John Shepard at the commander.
Shepard: *confused* Ash, The Normandy was - *realises, eye widens sharply* An SR3?
Ashley: Yup. It rolled out not even two hours ago. Hell, its even bigger and faster than the SR2. They managed to salvage EDI and she's very happy with her new body.
Shepard: *whistles* Wow-wee. Can't wait to see it.
Ashley: Can't wait to have you back, Skipper. Oh, and don't tell anyone I said this, cause I'll get a smack over the head, but I hear someone we both know is making 'Major'.
Shepard: What? You're kidding? Rox is making Major? That's fantastic!
Ashley: *Blank expression. Smacks him over the head.* You, ******.

... and no spoilers. It's hard to write a dialogue that plays in or post ME3 - parallels to stuff in the spoilers happen, it's pure coincidence then.

By the way, Aurora, love your "Space-pirate" ... hang on.


Ashley: Hey Skip. *checking Shepard's "new" looks* You seem ... changed.
Shepard: *smirks* Yeah, kinda. That new scar in my face doesn't help to make me look better.
Ashley: Wasn't talking about this. Your eye patch! You look like a pirate.
Shepard: Oh that one. Yeah, nasty - Chakwas said, I need a replacement. God thanks the Hanar are able to clone a new eye for me. Think I'll get one on next shore leave.
Ashley: Hmm, I hope they'll make it like your old one - eyes are windows to your soul, know that?
Shepard: Yup. Oh, and I miss that goddamn leg. Seriously ... need to be faster next time. That metal beam cut it of, right below the knee.
Ashley: Painful.
Shepard: Painful, indeed.
Ashley: Shall I go for a wooden leg? To complete your "space pirate appearance", I mean. *snickers*
Shepard: Thanks Ash ... aaaaand no. I'll go for a more modern variant.
Ashley: Hanar?
Shepard: Hanar.
Ashley: We could ask Miranda too.
Shepard: Miranda... hmm, no. Except she knows if the old Station where they brought me back is still intact. Don't wanna go back there, Ash ... bad memories.
Ashley: So we're going to ask the Hanar.
Shepard: Yup. Chakwas says I'm okay so far and will be back in action in two days. Of course ... only eighty percent. Shepard minus eye and leg.
Ashley: Don't be that hard to yourself.

Like how you pointed out  the calves! nice! This is relevant to my interests.

I think she looks as amazing as ever. I hope my female Shepard gets a shot at her this time.

I have just looked at another image from the new game, where she is next to the default male Shepard and in it her eyebrows seemed as thick as ever, not as dark, though, might just be the lighting, but I am no expert.
Besides Shepard looks a bit different, imo, too, they definately "overhauled" the faces a bit and some women  pluck their eyebrows. I always liked the fact, that she wore faint make-up even in battle, so she seems to be familiar with questions of beauty as one of the little things in life, you can use to make you feel good about yourself. And over the years, she might have extented that to her eyebrows. Small changes keep life interesting.

Anyway, I like Ashley and she is one of the characters that I am looking forward to the most.

Ashley's eyebrows are okay so far. I loved her thick brows in ME / ME2 - and that's from a dude who normally don't like thick brows. However, they fit to Ashley's face and don't look ugly at all. Imo her brows make her eyes even more beautiful.

Of all characters in the ME series Ashley is the one I'm looking most for her return. Not only because we had no chance to play with her (or Kaidan) in ME2, but also since her character got some development between ME and ME3. And, of course, the romance arc. I just wanna know how things turn out with her - happy end or not - hints for more than a short living love - whatever. Ashley's romance arc is one of the reasons why I'm going to by ME3. Another is, of course, the grande finale ^^

Only 1 hour, talk about putting preasure on shepard it takes a lot to please Ashley.

P.S. Just installing ME1 for first time on my PC (Have always played Mass Effect on XBOX 360 until now)

^ An hour is enough, believe me - especially when you're wounded.

Think Chakwas knows what's going on there but also needs to ensure her patient won't get harmed in any way. So that hour is a concession to Ashley-Shepard-lone-time

Liara: Chief Williams, Chief Williams, I'm glad I caught you before you left.
Ashley: Liara, Sorry I didn't call you something's come up.
Liara: I'd heard you been given a new posting.
Ashley: Yes, Councillor Anderson wants me on his Staff. He contacted me only an Hour ago....he wants me on the citadel ASAP.
Liara: As a bodyguard?
Ashley; No, I don't think Anderson needs me for that he can take care of himself.
Liara: Then what?
Ashley: I don't know he didn't want to discuss it over the comm. channel.
Liara: Maybe he has some news about John.
Ashley: God I wish that was true. But I think he's trying to give me something to do instead of sitting around all day moping.
Liara: Does he know about you and John?
Ashley: I don't think so.....at least not how close we became. But he knows how to read people, on Eden Prime he took just one look at me when Kaiden gave his report to him and said "Have you ever thought about serving on a starship Williams?"
Liara: I remember when I first met him, just after you rescued me on Therum. He did the same thing took one look at me and said "Good to meet you Dr T'Soni I just wish it was under better circumstances" not judging or condemning me for what Benezia was doing.
Ashley: Just like John, he always looked for the good in people and he knew when you where lying.
Liara: I found that quite annoying, John always managed to get me to admit things.
Ashley: He always did know the right things to say to get you to open up.

Liara: Ashley the reason I was looking for you is I've heard from some of my contacts.....about John.
Ashley: What have you heard....is he alive, has someone seen him?
Liara: There's been a lot of talk lately, whispers.....places....names all being linked to John
Ashley Anything concrete?
Liara: No but a lot of it seems to point to Omega, Its a Prothean Asteroid Mining station in the terminus systems ruled by Mercs and Pirates.
Ashley: Then what are we waiting for? Lets get over there and find out what's going on....
Liara: Ashley wait.....It's too dangerous for you to go there, and we don't know if we'll find anything when we get there. You've been ordered to the Citadel if you don't go you could jeopardise your position.
Ashley: I don't care if there's a chance John is alive I'm going.
Liara: Think about this......We may need Andersons Help. The terminus systems are dangerous and the alliance isn't welcome there. I can slip through if you come we'd need a warship and crew to get in and out in one piece.
Ashley: You can't expect me to sit on the sideline and wait
Liara: Anderson will help if I find proof that Johns alive. Let me go there and see what I can find out, if John is there I will contact you strait away. I Promise.

Alliance Lt: Chief Williams
Ashley: Yes Sir *Salutes*
Alliance Lt: Councillor Anderson sent me to escort you to the Citadel I have a shuttle waiting.
Ashley: Liara is this your doing?
Liara: Plan B in case you would listen to reason.
Ashley: That's another bad habit you've picked up from me.
Liara: I'll contact you as soon as I know anything.
