I know it's a game and all. But I dunno...I think IF you cheated on your ME1 LI then that should be it. Relationship over for good. It would make it seem more real. But OBVIOUSLY it doesn't work that way, otherwise Tali wouldn't be a love interest. *LEGS IT*

Seriously? I'm sick and tired talking about appearances. "Hey! Ash is wearing make-up!" No sh*t she's a woman. I need to go talk about guns and football now. Maybe watch some Billy madison.

Good day.

Thinks it'll have some influence if you cheated on Ashley (Kaidan). At least it should have - even if that LI you cheated with died in the SM. I mean, there's always the option to stay faithful and gaze at Ashley's or Kaidan's picture before the SM. Liara is different - she seems to be the less jealous, more forgiving type, als it got adressed in ME2 already (sort of, depends on when you do the Shadowbroker mission).

Lets see how things play out. If there's a chance to win Ashley back once you cheated on her, then it's because of Ashley's decision, not Shepard's - that's what I am hoping for.

Looking into his face again hurts even more than seeing him dying in with the Normandy. Where has he been in all that time? What ungodly deed brought him back from heaven ... or hell ...

Soldiers wear makeup on the battlefield? Good to know.

Blah. I already know how it works out. And I can live with it.

But there's no cheating happening in my canon save. My Shep's a loyal old dog, he is. He'll stick with Ash through thick and thin. I mean...One fight? Or... misunderstanding and you call it quits? No way! Even if Ash wasn't a major player in ME3 my Shepard would've still remained faithful at least until the reapers business is over. I guess I like staying true to my main Shepard's character? Even though me, myself as a player hates how things have turned out.

Never said any of my Sheps cheated on her. I think I won't have any "cheated on Ash" playthroughs - maybe I can do one without romancing her, but cheating? No. Loyal like an old dog, like you said.

I demand Bioware give me this option when she inevitably blows up the whole "Cheating" ordeal.

Well thankfully it's a game. IF bioware tries to make me replay just to continue her stupid romance. Then BSN will hear about it.

Sometimes I regret that bioware includes romance in this game. It provides great drama and interesting story dynamics, but I feel that it can really distract from the main focus of the game at times.

Not that I want them to remove it of course.

Uhh you know you can have multiple playthroughs. At least two - one with Ash and loyal Shep and one with Ash and cheating Shep. Child's play

Guess... I just want SOMETHING for staying faithful through the series. Maybe I only feel that way because I've completed ME2 three times I think? With two faithful to Ash and one with Tali. I probably won't ever import that Tali save though. Why would I? When I can look these things up on youtube. Guess I don't like playing a game over and over again. Besides I've got my perfect save squared away. Image IPB

I'm READY for the experience...

Dunno. Makes the game more enjoyable and gives -at least in my case- Shepard a reason to fight for something. Shepard is human, after all, and humans tend to fall in love regardless the situation. It's more fun and more interesting to have that romance option. However, if you think it's too distracting, you can skip any romance arcs and concentrate on the main story. BW gave us that freedom - the romance arcs are "extra" and no integral part of the main story arc (which is a good thing since Liara is favored as LI from BW, but also is a bit sad since the LI should make a difference in the main arc)

The forums would be such a nice place without the romance.

*checks again*
Hmmm ... nope. Definitely not girl.
*checks for a third time*
Yup. No girl here.

Ashley: I concur. That guy is no girl.
Shepard: He's not?
Ashley: No, stupid.

Nah I can't skip such story heavy content, especially when you can't learn more about a character until you romance them. Garrus and his calibrations is a good example.

It depends on the person. It never distracts me from the main plot. The game is better for them, it's just the BSN that suffers because certain people can't handle that people don't romance their favorite character, or romance them differently than they do so things get testy.

The game lacks "friendship arcs" - also there's no "friendzoning" for particular characters. For example, I'd like to friendzone character B so I can concentrate on A without having to ignore B.

Also friendships are missing in a way so you can talk about more stuff than normally. But guess it would need additional 10k of lines just for "friendship arcs" so BW never added them to the game.

She's probably reading the posts about her looks. (with all the talk about the changes)
I would propose we move away from that topic until we get more info.

Until then.....let's have a happier Ash.

Thanks! Image IPB I do love writing Shepard and Ash, I suppose it's also the easiest to write, since I have had some practise with Shepley dialogue.

@ares; I love that look, it's kinda approving.

Also AD haven't watched it (yet) is she being as badass as Ash?
