That said, it really does annoy me. I mean yes on an aesthetic level it still looks good, but I can see through it as the blatant attempt to pander sex appeal through the use of female characters that I once thought Bioware were above.
In any case though, Ash is still Ash and no matter what, I'll stick by her as my LI. I can handle the changes, as much as they irk me.
EDIT; Still, she's got her old colors back, that's pretty cool.

I'm on the fence, this aesthetical change really does ****** me off, but it also won't be enough to color my opinion of Ashley in a negative light. Underneath any aesthetical appearance, if she's the same kickass woman of the military, I don't care.

Mabye... we don't know that yet. It could be that Chris L'Etoile is crying somewhere and they changed Ashs personality to fit the new mainstream look.
I just need to nag about something. Don't mind me :innocent:

All this Ash in the air is making me Ashmatic.

"I am an as(s)thmatic!" (Why did children watch that movie?)
Ashley don't matter! (read it right, folks!)
Brothers, arm yourselves. There is a troll in our midst.
Are you kidding me? Vertigo thought the same thing.

Anyone noticed the S1 on her armor? Is that her new vocational code?
I thought so myself, but this is not my area of expertise and I don't know what it means exactly. Maybe someone else can clarify...

DAMNNNNNNN! So glad I stayed faithful haha.
I can't get over the fact she's wearing high heels though, but I won't complain about it. ASH IS BACK!

There's no denying that she's sexy as hell.
All the same if Bioware would like to make Ashley dress in armor again, I wouldn't complain...

So, I did some research. According to this site the 's' stands for 'Orbital Deployment, Reconnaissance, Infiltration, and Assault Forces.' That is all I could find on it with a quick look.

"The numbers range from 1-7. denoting experience, with 1 being the lowest.
The numbers are decided by assignments, commendations, medals, service
records, etc."
That probably means, that she just started in this particular career path.

That looks like someone's unofficial RP setup.
Particularly since Ashley's old vocation was B4, and I'm pretty sure she's wasn't Band.
Also, the 1-7 means how good you are at your job, not your experience (although experience probably factors in).
(Also, Kaidan's "L2" was the model of his implants, not his vocation code.)

The thought crossed my mind, too, but I wanted to share anyway, at least it is something to talk about.
Implications:
Ashley: This one time at band camp...
Shepard: Tell me more!

Btw, I know you guys got skills. Can anybody make an Ash & Shepard (ME3 style) banner?

If anybody has a specific request, let me know (although it's the 4th of July, if I don't get to it right away, I'll have it done tomorrow).

Casey said there would be, so there is no reason to not believe him.
Especially, he always said in the past that VS would have an important role in M3. And it is the case, we know today.

Really Bioware? Really?
That's some nice evening wear Ash's got there, but where's her actual properly functioning armour? Y'know, the kind of protection that a professional soldier like Ash would know to wear in the middle of a goddamn warzone.
Miniskirt and high heels? Really?
I just . . .
WTF?

Also, you know something's wrong when the Biotic blue skinned token fanservice girl with plotshield has more actual armor than the badass front-line soldier girl who shunned this sort of wardrobe...
And as if that isn't enough, it seems that ONLY the women Shepard picks up for his/her team are the ONLY ones with skimpy outfits. Vasir? Armor. Cerberus girl troopers? Armor. Blue Suns women? Armor. ALL males? Armor.
Miranda, Samara, Morinth and now Ashley? Catsuits, cleavage and high heels!
I'd like that, at least once, 16 year old horny teenagers wouldn't be the focus group on "creative decisions"...
PS: I LOVE this skirt/heels/garters as off-duty wear. As actual combat suits? good going there Bioware... Yep, I'm bitter as hell.
And I'd also LOVE to hear Casey explaining this...
