Glad you guys like the "Angel of Death" picture. It's the ONLY picture that transitioned 100% from my head to the computer. It's exactly what I wanted to happen so it's my favorite deviation.

And I still call it "Killer Angel" - I think you remember why. Has something to do with American Civil War. And Ash has a direct branch to General Lee in her family tree ... high five history!!!

Stuck in between a rock and a hardplace as he would have said. I'm rolling my eyes as I think that, I can hear his voice saying that exact phrase and I used to tease him about being sappy and cliched. 

I don't have much more time I think. Attacks are getting worse every night. I've lost two more people. I don't know how much longer I can keep them alive. Maybe I won't. And in some morbid way, I don't care. I just want to end it. We have a brief respite now. Maybe they think we're dead already. Or they're getting ready to advance. I swore I heard some screaming a moment ago, and a few gunshots. But I'm not hopeful.

When I gaze does the scope of my rifle. I see a few mercs, loosely acting together, some in custom painted armors, others just wearing civi-cloths. One stands appart fromt he rest, maybe it was just the pitch black hue of his suit, or maybe the metal skeletal-looking arm covered in armor that stood out, bolted to his shoulder. Or maybe it was the Revanant on his back, the same make and model the Jon used. I laughed, almost out loud. There was no way it could be Jon, but I couldn't deny the excitement in my belly at seeing it. One thing is for certain though, with those numbers, I won't last long.

Maybe I'll have that final release and join my father at his side? When I say the black-clad hand move towards the nearest merc and wretch his head violently and snap his neck before pulling his side arm on another. I thought 'Maybe god is on my side tonight after all'.

Could you give me some context about her leaving Shepard and the mercs? I read the stuff about Shepard and the greybox and him being Reaperfied, etc., but what exactly was going on in this?

Joker: Shepard's hamster got out.
Ashley: Uh. Um.
Joker: Yes, we're -ah.
Vega: We're trying to look for it. We've been trying to call for it. You know it's name?
Ashley: Uh, not. He never told me.
Joker: Yes, well. Just keep your eyes out.
Ashley: Ok *walks off*
Vega: Has he named it?
Joker: Yeah. He didn't want Ash to know.
Vega: What's it called?
Joker: 'Madeline'. Ash's middle name.
Vega: Hehaha!
Shepard: You know, small and cute, yet annoying and persistent.
Vega: Ah! that's funny - HOLY SHI-!
Joker: What the ****!?
Shepard: Morning *waves*
Joker: Gezzus! You freaking ninja!
Vega: Scared the crap out us, Shepard.
Shepard: My job is done then, *cracks knuckles loudly and walks off.*

All those scenarios are seperate. This one is about a 'post-reaper-apocolypic' universe. Everything's gone to hell and makes pre-war Omega look like a tea party out of Pride and Prejudice.

This followed the 'Halcyon' story arc. And Ash has uber PTSD. She's tired and shes lost everything she's fought for, and is about to throw in the metaphorical towel. Bascially just gone off to fight - she doesn't care what for - cause that's how she wants to go out. Fighting to the last breath.

The new Ashley Williams is definitely worthy of my support as a ME3 character. Loving her new appearance. Nice job Bioware!

I'd rather light armour. Can't pull off crazy parkour stuff if I've got all that weight restricting me and my movements.
Heavy armour = want to soak up damage.
Light armour = want to dodge bullets and dish out damage instead.

Hell, the way I've written it in Duel Effect, every N7's armour is tailor made to their personal strengths and weaknesses. Jon's is lighter for speed, Rox' joints are more flexible to enhance her hand-to-hand and climbing skills. Ect ect.

Well, my hypotheses is that the Red streak on his arm? Its not stand for N7s. Shepard's painted it on as an arrogant gesture. Besides, he can customise colour in 2, why can't other N7s do the same?

<Shepard pacing away from Wrex, looking tired and tense.>
Pierce: Let's not do that again, shall we?
Shepard: <Turns around, Pierce is leaning against a tent wall with her rifle at her side.> You saw that I take it?
Pierce: Of course. Was around the other side, with the sights on Wrex if he tried anything.
Shepard: So I not only have Ash on my back, but You too?
Pierce: Interesting.
Shepard: What?
Pierce: You called her 'Ash', not 'Williams'.
Shepard: It's her name.
Pierce: What ever happened to 'I don't want to be overly familiar with my crew'?
Shepard: ... Shut up. *turns to walk away.*
Pierce: You love her, don't you?
Shepard: *turns back, angered* I said, Shut up.
Pierce: That's more than enough confirmation.
Shepard: *sighs* Fine, yes. I admit it. Big surprise there, right? *sarcasm*
Pierce: I know that the decision to let her go with the Salarians was a tough one.
Shepard: Is there some kind of point to this? If not, then I'm leaving.
Pierce: I just wanted to know. And now that I do, I'm letting you know that I'm heading off with the Salarians too.
Shepard: Wha - why?
Pierce: Because I couldn't save Nate, but I can at least protect Ash for you.
Shepard: *Grumbles to self, trying to figure out what to do.* Fine. Do it. But if you get killed, I'm gonna bring you back and kill you again. Got it?
Pierce: Jonathan-Mal. Just who in hell are you talking to?

Yeah, but Ashley says something
like this in ME1 (regarding Asari commandos): "As long as I can't dodge
bullets I'll keep wearing heavy armor." She's a grunt all through.
Never used her as sniper in ME, but for the very same role like Grunt in
ME2. If anything went wrong, I still had Ashley and with her high
healing rate ...

In ME3 I'll have to use her as a sniper which is a bit ... odd. She's my tough frontline soldier while my Sheps are usually more Infiltrator than anything else.
