Hopefully she will see just how passionate the supporters can be too, and how much we appreciate her work on a great character.

Besides, Mass Effect is a fictional futuristic setting, a comparison with our past uniform styles is as valid as with present ones, I didn't try to imply any sort of evolution

I have no problem with your opinions or where you put them. I am just appalled by all the name calling. Which is somewhat inspiring, I admit:

There is no doubt in my mind however that the design itself was partly inspired by good old "sex sells". Since it is still in an acceptable range for me and in line with the image of Ashley, I formed while playing Mass Effect 1, I just don't feel the need to go up against it and I actually like it apart from minor details.
The way it is, I wouldn't wear it myself in public, mostly because out on the street it would get the same jerktastic responses than on these boards.
It would actually be a great comfort for me to see, that Ashley can rock those boots in the in-game reality, without anyone making a big deal out of it.
This is my opinion lying comfortably on the sofa, thinking about wether it should conduct itself more seriously in regards to a game, but eventually throws its long, luscious hair back, signaling me to go and have some fun.

What you're forgetting is that Ashley's outfit is CASUAL. Downtime and where there's no guns. when you do see er with agun in her hand and providing covering fire for shepard against MELEE husks Shepard his/herself is in their casual outfit after being in combat!
I've seen the concept art with Ash in armor and am completely satisfied with it. Bet it will look even better in-game.

And thanks for posting the Kimberly Brooks interview. It's a shame though, she feels more people dislike Ashley. I guess the naysayers always do attract more attention.
