Yea. Well everyone thinks that 'Spacer Warhero' is the ultimate 'Paragon' background, but I wanted my Shepard to have a dark spin on his. And there has to be a reason why he goes renagade on the Warhero-exclusive quest. I got renagade on that quest EVERY time.

Dunno. My Shepard is never pure paragon (but almost - there are some nasty paragon/renegade bugs in ME2 if you ask me) - I don't pick renegade choices if they don't make sense, but sometimes I do. Means >90% paragon for me. And yes, it's "spacer / warhero" for me.

Think one of my next playthroughs will be "colonist / sole survivor" and the only playthrough where I'm going to sacrifice Ashley. At least in one playthrough I want Kaidan in ME3 ... he deserves it.

A cake that has something to do with egg and a lemon cake? Neither of those seem to quite fit to me, I can see Ash as a chocolate cake lover. Which raises the question if she's one of those people who steer clear of chocolate knowing they'll otherwise gorge themselves with it.

Also I wonder whether her mom ever baked a cake, she seems to busy for that to me.

Hm, you're right, I frased it wrong. It's because I think Ash takes after her mother: busy with her Alliance career, not much hobbies around it. Not a very 'creative' person let's say.

Ofcourse she might be extremely dedicated to baking cakes, in that case I take it all back, unless she  was so dedicated to baking cakes that Ash  got incredably fed up with cake..(What am I going on about? Stop me whenever you like..)

Shepard: Yep. I could use less bullets being fired at me, but the truth is that all my other options seemed boring. And lets face it, I've led quite an interesting life. Wasn't easy and it was alot of pain, but it wasn't boring. That's what I wanted.
Ashley: Did you ever think that your 'interesting life' would carry you over to the SpecTRes? Or have you spearheading the countercharge against a race of sentient machines?
Shepard: What can I say? My god-like powers of preminition failed me.
Ashley: Heh.
Shepard: But then again, I wasn't looking to find a lover either. That was just a happy coincidence.
Ashley: Well, life is certainly not boring when you're in it. And as for the 'happy coincidence'? I think fate may have played a hand in that.

I really wanted to create a Sole-Survivor Shep, but ME2 was just too much of a "Suspension of Disbelief" breaker for me.

ME2 was a bridge. It was ok to bridge the start and the end, but it could have been handled better... though I think Arrival, LOTSB and Overlord did a good job to try and help make up for the relative boring-ness of the story.

In the long run, I think Bioware's biggest mistake for ME2 was making the Main Plot secondary to the stories of the characters. Focusing on Character Development is all well in good, but then they shoot themselves in the foot by giving none of them plot armor, meaning the greater majority of them can only have limited roles in the sequel (similar to the situation with Wrex in ME2).

you don't ahve to worry about that with Ashly because she's safe and sounds where ever the hell she is.

Yes. I disliked having to play the ship shrink. God, there's a reason kelly is there you know.

God. I missed Ash then. Would have loved to see Shepard rush to the Normandy and have her pull him up. Or that scene before the bolt to the Normandy were he pulls the debris off the squadmate. Would have loved her in the SM, or pre-SM.
