Hey, peeps! Thinking of cosplaying Ash at some point (BECAUSE I AM NERDY AND UNASHAMED).

Let me know if I got the makeup right.

And because I feel weird posting pics of myself, have some semi-creepy derp.

(Also, sorry for the greasy hair. I didn't notice it could get so bad AFTER A FEW GODDAMN HOURS what the f*ck, hair.)

Deck 1 The Loft

Shepard: Ash are you up here the whole crews down on the mess deck having a....a.....wow *Clears throat*



Ashley: You were saying Mr Shepard
Shepard: um.....Is it hot up here?
Ashley: something about all of the crew in the mess hall
Shepard: urm......yes they seem to be having a little party down there and I was wondering if you were joining us?
Ashley: Well actually I'm waiting for Santa Clause to bring me my present then I plan to give him his *Seductively Smiles*
Shepard: Well you know he won't bring your present until you're tucked away in bed and fast asleep.
Ashley: But I'm too full of energy, I need something to tire me out first perhaps a good rigorous training session with my CO.
Shepard: Won't Mr Clause be disappointed, after all naughty girls don't get presents from Santa
Ashley: Maybe but Santa doesn't jingle my bell like you can.
Shepard: Well those clothes aren't suitable for a good training workout.
Ashley: Then you'll just have to come over here and unwrap you're present
Shepard: I'm always careful when unwrapping my presents sometimes it takes me hours
Ashley: It's a shame Christmas comes round only once a year.
Shepard: Yes but it's a very, very long celebration well worth the wait

In the long run, I think Bioware's biggest mistake for ME2 was making the Main Plot secondary to the stories of the characters. Focusing on Character Development is all well in good, but then they shoot themselves in the foot by giving none of them plot armor, meaning the greater majority of them can only have limited roles in the sequel (similar to the situation with Wrex in ME2).

The funny thing is, that the ME2 character development was not that good either. Actually, the best thing of ME2 are the missions, they're well designed. The spaces between each mission got filled with ... yeah ... kinda fillers. Not much else. Also the primary story got reduced to 6 missions (8, if you add Arrival and LotSB to the main plot). The rest (think there were more than 20 missions) are either side missions, recruiting missions and loyalizing missions - and that makes ME2 feeling like a filler, not like a bridge or something. Just my imagination. If I could do differently, if I could write the story for a reboot, lots of stuff would be different.

And no, that's not because I missed Ashley or Kaidan. The story in ME2 doesn't need them to be permanent part of the crew. However, the story itself lacks something ... essential. It's meaningless for the outcome of the entire trilogy, especially since a lot of the guys in ME2 can die and therefore can't have a big influence on ME3. They might help to raise the Galactic Readiness meter or to forge alliances ...

Whatever.

ME2 - feels like TIM already has all the answers and is trying to 'convert' Shepard to Cerberus' way of thinking and trying to make him Cerberus' left hand hit man. It felt like TIM was taking you for a ride, and you had no choice. If I did, I would have shot Mrianda and Jacob back on Lazarus station, killed the shuttle pilot and set a course to the nearest Alliance base, or even the Citadel. The story was... well, a gigantic filler. LotSB and Arrival were really the important points there. Not much else... well, beyond killing the Collectors.

Wouldn't shot Jacob and Miranda. Maybe I would go a while with them till I know enough about the Collectors to finish the job on my own.

I can see at least three oportunities to leave Cerberus and return to the Alliance:

- Horizon
- DLC Overlord
- Jack's LM

Horizon, because of the VS. Shepard saw enough to leave Cerberus and join the Alliance. S/he could have used his/her experience to convince Anderson and the Council to fund the new Normandy and the mission.

Overlord, because Cerberus felt just evil. Sorry, using a mentally disabled person for experimentations can not be justified.
Can say the same about Jack: experimentations with children feels like one of the darkest chapters of my nation's history. I can't support this.

Hell, just screwing with me and filling Shepard full of implants - Defiling the DEAD which I find unforgivable - was reason enough for my Shepard to leave. Hell if this had happened when he was still in the miserable emotionally wreak he was in after Elysium, he probably would have shot himself out of spite for Cerberus.

Admiral Kohoku? Experimenting on the Rachni? The Thorian Creepers? Hearing of the Attack on the flotilia from Tali, creating a Reaper-based AI, dropping Horizon on my lap? And let's not forget Akuze - Jon-Mal had a lot of friends in that mission, inc. Roxanna.

All those thoughts were running through Shepard's mind each time TIMMY came calling. Lets just say, TIM is lucky that he wasn't in the same room as Jon-Mal when they were talking.

Not to mention that he in-directly shattered the relationship - the first proper, loving relationship he's been in since Elysium (second wife doesn't count, she was rebound) - and trust between Shepard and Ashley, and had the audacity to be so casual about it when he debriefed Shepard. Jon-Mal was pissed off at them, to put it mildly. He wanted to leave but he swallowed his pride for the colonists.

Miranda: I did nothing of a sort. *folding fingers together and leaning forward on her desk* Even if what you were saying was true, I didn't need to. Shepard already had a stand-in for his dead wife.

It took me hours to get it looking that good. Since I'm not going to buy ME2 PC and all of the DLC since I've already done that with the xbox 360 version, I've got a new video capture card on the way so I'll be able to get better facial images at the right size and angle from my xbox not to mention better screen shots all in 1080p HD.

God. I missed Ash then. Would have loved to see Shepard rush to the Normandy and have her pull him up. Or that scene before the bolt to the Normandy were he pulls the debris off the squadmate. Would have loved her in the SM, or pre-SM.

Ashley: Joker why have we entered orbit of this planet we're supposed to be heading to Tuchunka
Joker: Shepard took the shuttle down to pick up some cargo
Ashley: He went down alone!
Joker: yep he came down a couple of hours ago and gave me these coordinates, Once we arrived he loaded some gear into the shuttle and then went down to the surface about an hour ago.
Ashley: Did he say what sort of cargo he was picking up?
Joker: Not really though EDI said he took an anti grav lift, A laser torch and some C4 explosives and a detonator.
Ashley: What in the hell does he need those for?
Joker: EDI said he was also carrying some sort of hat, but she couldn't make it out.
EDI: I'm picking up the shuttle on sensors. Incoming transmission
Shepard: Shuttle to Normandy requesting permission to land.
Joker: Permission granted opening bay doors
Ashley: I'll go see what he's been up to down there.

*Ashley walks into the cargo bay to find out what Shepards been up to and shouts over at the landed shuttle as she walks to it*

Ashley: Where have you been John, Leaving the ship without an escort or even a pilot and in the middle of the night are you trying to get on my badside?
Shepard: I was picking up a surprise for the crew
Ashley: What surprise
Shepard: Come in and take a look. I could use a hand



Ashley: hahahaha What in the hell do you look like John. Take that stupid hat off.
Shepard: Come on Ashley get into the sprit of things other wise you won't get your present.
Ashley: You got me a present....what did you get me.....where is it

And Ashley's hair is probably greasy, too, after a hard fight, when she takes off that helmet. So if you are going for realistic cosplay, you should keep it that way ;-)
