Which makes me wonder if the game were out right now with her "maligned" outfit, how many people, honestly, wuldn't play because of it? I bet many would like to hear her say: "I wouldn't be caught dead in that!" (as in ME1) However, ironically, she does in ME3! Talk about bittersweet!

Of course we're going to play the game.... it's that we're worried about what they have done to Ash if ... THAT is what they dress her in.... especially if that's what she wears in combat. It's like she's not even Ash anymore. 

That's why we're scared, complaining, pessimistic, etc... at least, that's why I am. lol

And it's understand, but damn (Parashep moment) - it's 8+ months before release! Anything could happen and that "skin" is not he worst they can do either. Thinking about the alternative (and there are many), that "suit" looks good on her - even in combat. (Yell at me. Go ahead. I can take it - just be "rational" while doing so! haha)

Looking back at the different armour styles that we have seen so far from various pictures, my guess is, that everyone has light, medium and heavy armour types in ME3, like ME1 had?

I'll be slightly disapointed. Other than that, I won't complain. I'm just glad she's back and playing what seems like a huge role in ME3.

Ash should get armor too.

For people like me who are concerned about her lack of armor I think the real problem we have is that it is going against something she said and held high in ME1. If the designers are willing to go against a characters beliefs then is the new writer for Ash's character going to do the same.

And if it were standard issue then Shep and Kaidan would be wearing the same thing. I am still hoping both of the outfits so far are for on the Normandy not combat.

Yes I would. If she wears those outfits in combat I would take offense by it.

It would destroy her character and any enjoyment I might derive out of ME3.

I have only stayed with the franchise because we were told that Ash would be back in ME3.

ME2 made me rethink my apreciation for Bioware. In a negative way!

They could even do even worse things to her character if they chose to do butt, cleavage and bust shots of her all the time like with Miranda. That totally freaked me out. Not in a good way!

If they are really going to commit character assasination on who Ashley is than I will actually cancel my Collector's Edition pre-order and not buy the game. Going to hate it alone for what they did to Ash's character and looks.

I want my ME1 Ash back! The woman I fell ... my Shepard fell in love with!

She had one xomment about armor in ME1 so I doubt that's held high to her. Also outfits don't always equal character traits, you're also not taking into account how she's grown since Horizon especially since she's an officer now and Shepards the only other female officer we've seen in the game and 2 years before the finals game.

Horizon is only a few month away from ME3.

Not enough time to have changed this extremely.

Unless it is not the real Ashley. Maybe the Collectors did take her and planted in imperfect clone of her there.

Maybe Ashley is already dead.

That is a scary thought.

The belief she held high was being a soldier not a commando, infiltrator, or a vanguard. She is a soldier to the core and soldier wears armor. She hates the idea of using her looks to get ahead so why the hell would she wear something out in combat that would contradict both of those ideals. That is not character growth that is an Evil Kinevil jump of a change.

Exactly. She was already hot as hell in her Alliance uniform and armor.

This just makes her look cheap.
