I wish I had ME1 for the pc. I could get screenshots of Adam Shepard (Kallen's little brother who in hsi games romancee Ashley) but I couldn't create him i the ME2 CC because options were missing. sucks. Ashley was looking forward to him on the PC.

Yeah this is one area where I'm most definitely spoiled.  Most of the fan art and such is with Sheploo, which works great for me, but notsomuch for the custom Sheppie folks.

Honestly, I'd post my Custom Shep with Ashley but I play on the 360 and I don't have a capture device.

You don't really need a capture device. A decent camera will do (although adjusting the lighting is still a pain.) I've taken quite a few pictures that way myself and they generally turned out well.

All my Shepards are custom made. I like to think I did a decent job on their appearance + matching Mark's voice to them.

For me, Ash has only known CustomShep

THe last conversation of her Romance plot I believe before getting grounded at the citadel.

She says that she believes everything has happened for a reason, that 'Everything will come to a head soon' and then playfully adds at the end 'Don't worry, Shepard. I'll protect you."

Ash has as much motivation to fight the Reapers as Shepard, if for nothing more than personal revenge. Sure, she has John back now, but revenge for killing him in the first place and for the pain she suffered because of it.

Shepard recieved his vengeance when the Collectors were destroyed, but nothing will make him forget the fight with the Reapers or the Prothean beacon. He's gonna have a lot of sleepless nights for the rest of his life now - that is if he survives.

I'm sorry, I'm rambling on. Getting ahead of myself.

I'd have more custom Shepards if the customisation system wasn't so crappy in ME1. Two actually did improve it alot. And three, if it's true to form, will probably be better again.

In truth though, the reason why I haven't made many custom males is because Mark Meer's voice suits default Shepard, and it just doesn't feel right not to have default Shepard.

Although, I with I could customise the default a bit. Give him a bit of hair, you know, something to spike up or just to add to his ruggishness.

I'm the same I just couldn't get a custom shepard to look right in ME1. As soon as he talked it looked stupid. It was better in ME2 but the defult Shepard just suits me. I have done a custom femshep which is good but since you couldn't romance Ashley in ME1 I only did it once.

Yes. Only one has "canon!looks" but is custom in any other field, any other Shepards look different.

Listening to that. I can imagine Shepard just sitting at his desk, listening to the recording over and over. Cradling his forehead in his hand and shedding tears in the darkness, the only lights is from Ashley's video message on the terminal. The bright orange clashing with the subtle blue of the fishtank. He reaches towards the hologram with a trembling hand as if to touch warm flesh that didn't exist there, that he has to remind himself isn't there.
