"Also lots of questions about Ashley. We've only showed her in a jacket outfit & its CE variant. She will also have full armor and helmet."

Oh well, I think I get it now: the blue uni we saw her in was the jacket uniform, the red and white one is just a red and white variant of that one for the CE of ME3, and she will also get armor. Ok, I think I am straight now.

It makes sense that she would have several different sorts of suits considering that she is a Spectre. Full body armor can be awfully conspicuous on certain missions. And some missions could call for a bit of a "distracting" piece of clothing so she can achieve her objective.

Some of us didn't ignore it, "we" just didn't pay attention. :innocent:

I'm thinking some knew but mistakingly thought the alternate appearance was what he was referring to as 'armor'.

I had a weird notion. What if the founder of Cerberus is actually Gen. Williams? I didn't read the comic about The Illusive Man but did he actually start Cerberus in the comic? Seems to me he was doing some of the General's bidding there for a bit right? Just something to ponder.
Wouldn't that make for an interesting reveal.
If that happened, hypothetically how do you think Ash would react to it? I'm guessing not well....
Ooh good question.. I would like to see something like this happen actually. It's so controvercial and could make for great story development in the case of Cerberus and the Williams brood in general. I think Ashley would be shocked, angry, confused, hurt. Everything she says to Shep about what she knows of Shanxi she got somewhere.. And if her version is as wrong as this, she was lied to at some point by somebody in her family.. Her father probably. I don't think that's going to go over so well with her.

Yup. Straight off the bat we already know that Ashley is much less of a prude than Miranda... Heck, even Jack!
She is the only human (save for Kaidan) willing to go full birthday suit with Shepard

Mass Effect Evolution Spoilers:
We only see Gen. Williams very briefly in the beginning of the first part. He is angry about having to pull offworld. He is portayed with a bottle in his hand, some of the drink is dripping from his mouth. He seems to be very close to Jack Harper, the man to become T.I.M. The Turians are doing something suspicious and he leaves Jack and his team behind (b.t.w.. Eva wears a catsuit with some serious cleavage, one look at her and Ashley's new outfit will not appear to be that bad anymore,) to check out what they are up to and they are captured by the Turians.
We see Williams, who has an epic scar across the right side of his face, again in the second issue, where he negotiates the release of Jack's team. Once that has been succesfull there is one more conversation with Jack.
I quote: "I left a lot of good kids out there. We were on the verge of winning --- but now the Alliance wants us to suck face with the Turians, all so we can curry favor with this Citadel bunch. Money Talks. 'Cohabitaion with Native Species to further mutual interests.' It's the way of the future. Well, I can't get onboard with that. I'm resigning. But you shouldn't quit."
Gen. Williams givesJ ack his personal shuttle, so that he can further investigate, what the Turians have discovered.
That is the last we see of Williams.
In the end of the last issue we see T.I.M. dictating some kind of manifesto for Cerberus. Ashley's grandfather doesn't seem to be a part of it. They still might be friends at this time, though.
I think it might be intriguing, if he actually had to do something with the founding of Cerberus and the only reason they left it out of the comic is because they are going to use this in the game.

I mean I would be under the impression that none of her family knew the real story either. They got the "official" story from the Alliance. I would be surprised if her father was privy to any of this. If he was... Hooray....more ME daddy issues...... haha.

What's wrong with Morrigan ?
Character design-wise, what isn't wrong with Morrigan? She looks like she's about 3 seconds away from a catastrophic wardrobe malfunction and actually puts on clothes to have sex. You know what visual design I liked for Morrigan more? The Sacred Ashes trailer. Her face was actually kind of distinctive and her shirt thing, while still showing a lot of cleavage, looked like something someone might actually wear.
Sylvianus wrote...
Morrigan is great like that. It fits perfectly with her character and her fantasy world. It fits perfectly with her personality. You don't really know her if you think it's just to show a scantily clad woman.
Otherwise, if I understand the desire to see Ashley in armor, I begin to think that there is a bit of exaggeration here.
The Witcher 2 is far more daring than the bioware games.
Haha, Morrigan had a great character (when the writers could agree on what her personality/ethics were like), but nothing of in that character type requires "medieval string bikini/scarf monstrosity" vs. "thing a sane person would wear to a fight." And honestly, if you want to compare Dragon Age to Witcher 2 in terms of objectifying character designs, the pictures speak for themselves. And Mass Effect 2 was even worse than Dragon Age. I would prefer that ME3 doesn't take that route.

@Badpie. Hmm... that's true, hadn't thought of that. I just had this image of Ashley's father telling her stories of her Grandfather and well... I couldn't help thinking that he'd of mentioned what he knows (or thinks he knows) of his own father. But if he was filled in by the Alliance then what he knows could be totally wrong anyway..
Gen. Williams sure seems to hate Turians, and he's most definitely NOT on board with the whole co-exist thing. Ash was certainly exposed to some of this, which is probably where a lot of her negative ideas about non-humans originated. I honestly doubt she got the full brunt of his dislike for nonhumans though, which may be why she's hesitant, but still relatively open-minded.
