I have a theory on why it sounded so good. And why Admiral Hackett and Shepard's mom in ME were more interesting to listen to than most characters. You probably already know.

Nah, it's that it's a disembodied voice. When it's a voice only, the actor isn't dramatically restricted by a need to time lines to sync up with facial animations and cues. It allows wiggle room for subtlety and delivery that wouldn't be possible otherwise.

We seriously need some fan art of Ashley in her awesome new armor.

EDIT: Also, awesome interview by Kim Brooks and Rapheal Sbarge, and that VS romance analysis thing was also very good.
I'm up to date.

I concur. That letter should have come with that audio file in ME2. I bet a lot of guys who abandoned Ashley or Kaidan wouldn't have with those readings. At least they would feel bad while going for a new LI - after all, with that reading it -feels- like cheating on your ME1!LI. Which is my interpretation. And I think the VS will see it as cheating too, even if it wasn't cheating technically.

Also I hope the emoitions displayed in both readings are on a similar level like the stuff we're going to see in ME3. Didn't the current BW Pulse episode had the VA-directors - which said they even had to cry at certain scenes? Impressive.

Me personal  love  it... the first thing I did was get her out of the  Phoniex Armor in ME 1

really? Crying? That'll be interesting. Now that I think about it. There wasn't much crying in the past 2 games. I can only think of the Asari scene.

If the any of the main squadmates have to do a crying scene. I'm hoping A. it's not cheesy. B. It's well done.

I was always gonna do that eventually as an "alternate universe". Now I have more motivation to do so.

Hey just reading the letter makes me feel like a big jerk face - I don't   I need to hear to make it worst. 

Yeah I went the whole... "You know I was DEAD right..." dialouge  an emotional moment.

Ash won't let a silly thing like dying get in the way.
I can see it now, when Ashley and Shepard are old and Shepard is on his death bed, Ashley would just say, "Oh no you don't, not until you mow the lawn"

Dunno if that's going to happen.
Except Shepard is the one who's dying. I wonder if that's in the game as one of the endings: Shepard being mortally wounded and Ashley (or any of his/her LI) comforts him. I really want to see such an outcome - even if I'm going to try avoiding such ending.

What would you think will Ashley do if Shepard dies a second time and leaves her alone? Especially if he dies in her arms. Ideas?

Hope you're not serious there, Chew. B/c that's cruel.

And what I think Ashley will do, well I don't really know. She is a strong woman, so I guess she'll learn eventually to live with it, but getting that one you love die, not once but twice, must brake almost any other person. Ashley I don't know, but I doubt she would smile as often after that.

Yeah Shepard should pray she not find a why to break the law of nature order and  drag him back to world of the living by his ear.

yeah it's nice to hear her giving Batan intel, advice, and crap. I love when she sets him straight in Arkham City. Ashley Williams: Taking the ****** out of Batman one call at a time.

There no family like the Bat Family I tell you ... There should be come kind of the Batman reference in ME 3... in her dealing with Shepard and Garrus.

The underlying mesh of her armour is identical to femshep's basic N7 armour in ME2, it'd be pretty hypocritical for anyone to complain about it - Easiest way to satisfy everyone, go for a tried and tested armour set instead of coming up with a concept piece that will have mixed reviews

but thats logic and we  both the BSN is anything but logically in its complaints.
