I value a hug from Ashley over cookies. I mean - I can bake that stuff, but get a hug by the woman you love but can't have? That's hard to get.
Speaking of ... Shepard received a tighter hug from Liara in ME2 (LotSB) than he got from Ashley.

That quote is about her poetry, and you're using it to justify her liking to dance. Don't look at me sideways for a weird justification you're trying to use.
It seems like an atribute more acredited to a warm and bubbly type person, more like Tali. Ashley just doesn't seem like the type. She strikes me more as the type of person who would want to spend her time actually doing something that's also fun, but not dancing.
Lets find a way between both opinions, shall we?
Most of the stuff posted here, including details about Ashley's character, are fannon. Like Ashley's coffee addiction, her love for old SciFi series, her bad writings (poetry done by Ash), her love for elevator rides with Shepard ...
It's all fanon or "headcanon". In your headcanon Ashley is not that much of a fan of dancing. In my headcanon she enjoys it - it's one of the things she loves to do with Shepard. One of many things. That doesn't make her to a girly girl or something, after all, there are also men who enjoy dancing.
Works for me. Does it work for you?
Maybe. But Ashley never had a choice, whether to look for Shepard's body or not. Everyone thought that he/she died and they were right. Cerberus resurrected him. And probably the reason why they didn't ask Ash for help is that she's with the Alliance. Besides, maybe Liara helped, but this moment is so goddamn mean. Er.. Liara's response. " Says the dead spectre working for the Cerberus ". Really? This 'dead' Spectre is with the Cerberus because of her..ADLegend21 wrote...
Well Liara had just fulfilled (to this point) her lifes work after two stressful years having to watch her friend die and then haing to get her body from the colloectors making the tough choice to give it to Cerberus to be revived. It was way more emotional than Horizon.

Liara in the Shadow Broker made me wonder if Ashley cared enough to find out what happened to Shepard's body. Do you think the fact she was in the military kept her from being able to?
I think it might have been a cause. Liara basically lost her 'job' with the death of Shepard and she was a little obsessed over him, thus she had the means and reason to find out what happened to Shepard. Ashley on the other hand was tied to her job, but if she really wanted to she could quit it. The question then is, how eager is she to find Shepard's body?Ashley_SR2 wrote...

Even if Ashley had an opportunity she couldn't do more than bury Shepard. Probably the Alliance didn't have resources like Cerberus and necessary technology to resurrect someone. Alliance left Shepard's body on the planet. So what? Maybe they wanted leave him where the Normandy is. Captain stays with the ship is, eh? I know, it may sounds silly but it's how I see it. Everyone keep saying that the Alliance and VS abandon Shepard... Just because they couldn't bring him back to life? That's stupid.Ashley_SR2 wrote...

Concur. I'd love to meet them.Ashii6 wrote...
Shepard around Ashley's sisters? It could be pretty amusing, but I doubt there will be a time for something like that. Although I would really like to meet them.

(Shepard will compare if he got the beauty out of the bunch. I bet he's going to have a hard time since I think the Williams sisters are all beautiful.)

Given the fact the Normandy got destroyed in the Terminus Systems PLUS Shepards corpse went down on a planet in said area of space, I'd say Ashley (or Kaidan) never had a chance to go after that corpse. And even if they had an opportunity to do so - all they could do was to bury Shepard. I believe the Alliance officials decided to leave Shepard's corpse alone and with the remnants of the Normandy. For them s/he was KIA, they didn't know about that Lazarus Project. And working with Cerberus to bring him back? No way.
Actually, I really wonder if Shepard asks Ash/Kaidan if they ever tried to rescue his body. Hope this is getting addressed when talking about the VS' past (if it's even part of any dialogue).

you're right, even if the Alliance would possibly allow her I doubt she would ahve worked with cerberus to get Sheaprd's body back, she might have betrayed them and just put shepard in an unmarked grave somewhere rather than give her to Cerberus to be revived.(who knows what that would ahve done to her beliefs to take shepard "away from god") and that could have scared her for the rest of her life, who knows?Ashii6 wrote...
