We had this before and "Starbun" was a quite famous name ^^

Installed Skyrim yesterday - will keep me busy until ME3 for sure.
This leads me to a new dialogue ...


Ashley: Where have you been, John?
Shepard: Here, right here. I had stuff to do. Writing reports, reading news...
Ashley: Can't believe you're that busy. Last week you had no issues - and since then we just did two missions.
Shepard: Yeah, I know. Hackett demands more detailled reports now.
Ashley: Admiral Hackett? That guy who hates reading lengthy reports .... ?
Shepard: Exactly. Hackett.
Ashley: I pretend you're not lying, Skipper.
Shepard: I'm not Ash-
Ashley: And how comes EDI told me you were in your cabin playing a computer game called "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim"? It's not that EDI is lying that often. Besides that, your "Report" looks like a game cover.
Shepard: It's a very ... very ... good question.
Ashley: *sigh* ... okay. Mister, stop that and get your ass moving. I want to go out today ...
Shepard: We're in the middle of nowhere. The next starbase is 2 days away and-
Ashley: I heard there's a nice place nearby. "The Azure".
Shepard: That one is on Illium, Ash. Wouldn't call it "nearby" ... that's 4 sectors away.
Ashley: You're really in that game, huh? Liara opened a bar in the mess hall - I thought you gave your permission?
Shepard: Oh ... that. Yes, I did. Last week. Just didn't know she would call it "The Azure". I mean ... that's not an appropriate name ...
Ashley: What does it mean?
Shepard: It's part of the Asari physiology. Uhm ... lower part of their body ... that's what I heard.
Ashley: ... oh ...
Shepard: Need to be more precise?
Ashley: No, think I got it, Skip. You have a date, Sir. 9pm. And if you value what you've got, be punctual.
Shepard: Yes Ma'am!
Ashley: Good boy. See you in the CIC, Skip.


PS: does anybody know where Alliance is right now? Miss that guy ...

I like Ashley. If it wasn't for Miranda, I'd be hanging out here quite a bit. And I agree they could become friends. Here's an after-the-war conversation I wrote up a while ago. You probably missed it because I only posted it in the Miranda thread:

I wrote this up without thinking of any Shepard romance. Just Miranda and Ashley.

I had several dialogues with Miranda and Ashley a while ago - Ash was romance of Shepard and had a hard time at the beginning since she believed Shepard also had a thing for Miranda. Somewhere in the end I lifted that secret - Shepard liked Miranda a lot, but was a loyal dude. He couldn't simply move on.

Right now I think there's a potential for both to get along and become friends one day. They're similar in some ways and maybe can understand & trust each other. Too bad BW does not allow us to see that in game ... :-(

Also I wonder if Miranda could go for Kaidan in a romantic way if neither isn't romanced by Shepard. They could fit somehow. Then again, Kaidan and Ash did have potential before Virmire ...

Complicated stuff, eh?

My little "edit" about love is an issue from R/L but also one I can see for a certain character in ME universe ...

Yeah....many of us in the Miranda thread have bemoaned that we won't get the epic Miranda/Ashley banter we were expecting. They are very different in personality and outlook, but also both dependable in their way. That's an old favorite. I think ME1 Kaidan and Miranda are compatible personality-wise, both reserved and careful, and with any passion well hidden. Miranda could also come to respect Kaidan. I'm not so sure about the ME3 version though.

Honestly  I would see Ashley  beating the  Jack  ass first then afterwards its being a  big sister , little  sister type deal.  What I don't see  happing  Jack  walking into Ashley  office like s he did with Miranda and not walking out with a few new lumps and knots on her head.

I'm sure everyone experience this. It's still kinda pain in the *ss ... in my case it's simply that I shouldn't think of a different woman than my fiancee. Loving both is not appropriate. D

In case of Shepard: think you're right about Tali but also regarding Liara if unromanced. Ashley, Miranda and Jack can take it, they don't depend on Shepard's love. Tali feels different here and it's obvious Liara loves Shepard even if not romanced (but also not shoved away by being a d*ck). Think both feel bad when seeing Shepard kissing another woman.

Incubus's "stellar" since it's about taking somoene to space and Kallen is the one that gets Ashley out of her ground side mission streaks.
Kallen:"Meet me in outer space"
Ash: okay.

Again something I wouldn't immediately connect with them, but I can see it fit.

I wanted to say batgirl! (who later becomes Oracle), Although it might not really fit her though...Ash likes guns. Batarangs are good, but they aren't boomsticks. I guess you could call a boomerang a boomstick. (if it's explosive ofcourse.)

Sorry if i missed it but anyone know if we will have a choice between that type of armor and the one originally showed in the leaked demo?  Since people either like one or the other, having a choice would be a wise decision.
