It is interesting because because both sets of comments together suggest that Ashley is a social conservative. Something I've always thought she is but it never bothered me too much until that new comment, which brings it to a level where I question if I'll ever be able to romance her in ME3.

Hi Ieldra, I have stayed away from spoilers after the original leak. Until we play the actual game we don't know what she says or in what context. It's the same as taking Miranda's line of telling Jack that she was a mistake. To just take it off a piece of paper and stand it alone ... it reads just mean and out of line. Some Jack fans have taking that line as license to hate her ... I would hate that to happen to Ashley as well. Where and why ...and if Ashley says something about Miranda I'll need to see it in-game to have an opinion. Sorry for the ramble, I haven't had my coffee yet. 

Once the game is out I'll be back on the Miranda thread to see how the group feels about Miranda's character/story. I miss being on that thread but I know that the leaks are discussed there.

I personaly think that no trust was lost on horizon. Ash still cares and loves shepard. Does she trust him yes. She does not trust cerberus and is afraid that when they revived shepard they have done something to him. That is what I read from the horizon scene and subsequent email she sent to shepar appologising for her statements on horizon. I read from her email is that she trusts shepard and still loves him. And the whole horizon thing lines up in ME3 for one spectacular romance finish between shepard and ashley. And as to the spoilers remember that all bioware producers and Casey Hudson stated from beginning that they are going to reward shepards that stayed faithfull to ash and not cheated. Emphasis on reward not punish as the leak seems to indicate. And My shepard can not wait to holsd ash in his arms again before killing some bad ass reapers.

My mates read all the spoilers, I read some about tali, but she doesn't bother me. I'm willing to wait till march 6th for Ashley. unlike my friends...

I think that would mean alot to Ash but once her and Shepard are back together ... she is so going to pick on him for it.

It certainly can't get any worse than ME2! We can only go up

Files, mails, reports, more files. It all flashed by on the blue screen, occasionally interrupted for a reply to be typed out. Ashley’s staring eyes reflected the screens blue light, it was like the information was projected straight into her eyes. Her hand moved past a bunch of stacked up data-pads and old books rapidly moving in to the coffee. Like a predator would pounce its prey, her hand snatched to coffee cup, which she quickly brought to her lips, to sip it.
 
Ashley: Aaw! God that’s hot.
A beeping sound went off: another mail.
Ashley: Don’t rush me machine! Are you interested in Fornax, than you’re in luck! With this special offe-Alright, Don’t think that’s business mail.
Her finger touched the delete button on screen and her hand moved towards her coffee again, when the door slid open.
Ashley: Garrus, what do you need?
She spoke in an agitated manner, whilst the coffee cup was brought to her lips again.
Garrus: Hey could you run a check for m-
Ash: Aah!
The coffee, now rocking from side to side, spilled over the edge of the cup , leaving a brown soon-to-be stain upon the formerly pristine desk.
Ash: Jeez! What am I doing!
Garrus: Maybe you should be a bit more relaxed, take your time.
Ashley: Just because you take ages to finish any calibration doesn’t mean I have to!
Garrus: Alright, alright. Just saying, you’re sitting there like some kind of C-sec employee.
Ashley:*sigh* Tell me Garrus, how bad are the bags under my eyes?
Garrus: Like you’ve pulled two consecutive all-nighters, trying to keep awake by steaming hot coffee.
Ashley: You noticed that did you. You know, I never thought Miranda would actually leave. Damn me for nagging on that I should be doing all this instead of her.
Garrus: Anyone could’ve seen that one coming.
Ashley: Yeah rub it in some more and you’ll be seeing your precious calibrations so far off target that it’d make strong men cry.
Garrus: You know what you need?
Ashley: Sleep?
Garrus: No.
Ashley: A boomstick and a shooting range?
Garrus: Exactly. Blow off some steam. Maybe we should both do that.
Ashley: Maybe, but no sparring. I know where that leads with you. I have no interest in your reach.
Garrus: And what if Shepard catches us not doing our jobs?
Ashley: We’ll be at the shooting range…with guns. *smirks*
Garrus:  Ofcourse.


That's what I could come up with and yes the Normandy now, conveniently has a shooting range.

surprised a wild dialogue hasnt' appeared. The demo is coming soon so I wonder which mission we'll see, will it be new or something we've seen? I'm hoping it's the earth demo so we can see the VS since we're having Tali and garrus shown over and over again in the new screens.

I read on the news formum that the single person demo would contain two missions earth and one alien homeworlds for about of 1 to 2 hours of content. I guess probably palaven after finishing earth mission. And thereare no imports for ME 2 saves in demo.

He's quoting my posts over in the "ME3 Powers" thread - I've been going through the leaks for all the information I can find on all the Powers and their Rank evolutions and tonight I started going through squadmate's class Passive evolution ranks (currently found the class passives for Ashley, Kaidan, Vega, Tali, Garrus, and Liara).

I've also been avoiding spoilers to the best of my ability...so I'm not sure if I want to investigate this supposed slandering. To be honest, I find it rather disheartening. I don't llike this idea that the women of this game--the human women, specifically-- are always bickering with each other. After seeing Jack and Miranda at each other's throats, I liked to think that Ash would not involve herself in such squables.

Yes, she was not on great terms with Liara, though it was only really noticeable if Shepard is a man, plus I think that had some roots in her wariness of aliens, not against Liara personally. Plus there was the tiny little detail of her being the daughter or Saren's second hand.

I still don't know how different or similar she'll be to her original self, but I've assumed a greater level of confidence and maturity would be layered above what first made her so fascinating. It's just one little line, of course... and who knows? Maybe this is from early on and they could actually become friends.

Of course...I've never been a huge Miranda fan to begin with so this isn't really a dealbreaker...just a small concern.

The Earth demo definitely has to be there. I mean, it's the fall of Earth and just making an assumption based off the ME2 demo. And I'm betting the second mission of the demo probably is the Sur'Kesh mission with Eve. That's just my thoughts.

@Aurora: Hah, Shepard's afraid of clowns. And Garrus would be the one to ask.
