Huh. Once the reversed happened to me... Wrex and a romanced Ashley (Shepard was Renegade, but I didn't push her either way...though I changed that in a second playthrough). Ash wanted to focus on Sovereign and Wrex wasn't so sure. Now, Ash has reason to be wary... and I believe focusing on the Reaper is the more pragmatic choice... but what reason does Wrex have to want to save the Council? That was wierd.

That was a bit awkward in ME1... when teammates voice on a choice presented...it's not even their opinion, in a way. One character always had to serve one side of the argument, and the other had to represent the other. Obviously it works out when you have, say... Liara and Wrex. But when you have two... Renegade-ish or Paragon-ish characters...well, then I guess it's just luck of the draw.

The squadmates have a sliding scale of paragon-ness and renegade-ness to determine who says what. If you chose the persuade option with Ash to make her more trustful of aliens, she shoots to the top of the list.

You can also "renegade" Kaidan, in which you get him advocating to kill the Council while Wrex says save them.

This is correct and as far as I know the only wait to get her there is that paragon option. If you choose that she'll also say some stuff in the final romance scene about seeing how the council isn't all bad.

Makes her decision to become a spectre in ME3 make a lot of sense.
