Ashley: Its fine. I'm not sad about it, at least not for the same reasons anymore. I'm sad that I may have to give this back, I always thought of it as keeping a little piece of him with me.
Sarah: The way you're talking sis, it almost sounds like he's come back.
Ashley: More like he found me. But I can't pretend the last two years didn't happen. He's... different. Changed.
Sarah: Sounds like he fell in with a bad crowd.

Alright, being serious now. Yeah, that does sum the situation up. Though it's not how we'd like it to be, it's definitely more realistic than some fangirl of Shepard.

Ash or Liara is a WIN for me but I would think that they would go with Martin Sheen or Carrie-Anne Moss. Not that I wouldn't be happy with a Carrie-Anne Moss spotlight!

But Kaidan fans deserve the next reveal to be honest, so far they haven't seen him in action yet. But here's hoping that your prediction comes true!

Hannah: Think nothing of it.
Ashley: Did you... know?
Hannah: A extranet message or two hinted at something. But it's written all over your face. And I'm not planning to report you, so you don't need to worry about it.
Ashley: If you don't mind my asking, why not ma'am?
Hannah: Because John's father Malcolm and I got together the exact same way.
Ashley: Admiral Kaine saved your life from evil sentient machines, too?
Hannah: ... Maybe not the exact same way.




A bit long, and not really what I wanted, but it got the point across. The ring was John's and Hannah gave it to Ashley. And for the record, this is the ring Hannah gave to Ash.

Hey, watch it. We Ashley-fans -do- care for Kaidan too. After all, Kaidan-fans & Ashley-fans belong to the same fandom - the "VS-fandom". [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/smile.png[/smilie]
So no need to lash out against Kaidan. Actually, I really felt bad when leaving him behind for Ashley. It's still one of the hardest decisions in the series.

Shepard: So, if my mother gave it to you, why are you returning it to me?
Ashley: What do you mean? Don't you want it?
Shepard: Mum gave it to you, so it's rightfully yours now, isn't it?
Ashley: Uh, but.
Shepard: Sorry Ash, but to me it seems like you're trying to give it away rather than giving it back.

Ashley: At the risk of sounding selfish, I really don't want to give it back. I liked wearing it. Felt like I had you with me, at least in spirit... Sorry, that must sound really cheesy.

Ashley: But it did belong to you originally. It was a birthday present wasn't it?
Shepard: And?
Ashley: And - I'd feel bad about keeping it.
Shepard: What if I said that I think you should keep it.
Ashley: Really?
Shepard: Yeah, I think it'd suit your hand better than mine. *Grabs her left hand, pulls off her glove and slides it onto her ring finger. Holding her hand still, he brushing his thumb over it.* See? Looks good on you.

Happens a lot actually... it just depends on if you renegaded her or paragoned her and who you take to the end. Pretty sure with Garrus she says screw the council...as that's my normal endgame crew.
