I'm pretty sure you have to be a spacer. I don't believe it's very obvious that it's that response though.

Also I think people are taking a bit too much offense in something that is nothing more than a lame pun, all though, admittedly, I think that because I don't take offense in someone taking the ****** out of my family name (which is a pun in itself since my family name can be translated into either pool, lake or ******). Rest assured no one intended to offend anyone. That said, it's not really a title worth keeping. I'm sure AD will be willing to change it back.

I can live with the second statement, but the first one is a real downer.
Guess I won't play the demo then and wait another two weeks till release. Maybe that's even better than getting spoiled by a non-imported playthrough <_<

True but since I've seen the leaked beta footage already, it's ''spoiled'' anyway. Plus it feels pretty different when you import your own Shepard, since you've been on a journey with him/her, so I think it won't really spoil it for me anymore. It'll just be a good taste of the action and dialogue to get me pumped for playing the full version.

Trufax, got spoiled already.
However, it wouldn't feel like "my" playthrough, even if it's a demo. Never had a "non-imported" Shepard in ME2. Never. Since I wanted MY Shepard(s) back in action, not a pre-defined one.
Same for ME3. Sure, I know what's going to happen with a new Shepard, but that's not what I am looking for. I simply want to start the game with my own Shepard. If that's not possible, I won't play it at all - means: no demo for me ^^

The funny part of that is: Shepard -works- like that. He's dead serious when it comes to "the job", but like everyone he needs something to stay balanced. Means: a serious dude needs to be funny from time to time. Since Shepard is a dead serious man in the field, he's also a dead funny dude off duty.

Can sense him playing some pranks when he's not depressed, sad or something.

Ashley: God ... do you know where my pants are?
Shepard: Nope? Last time I saw them you just took them off ...
Ashley: You know what I'm talking about. Where are they? I need them in five, there's a meeting with Admiral Kaine this morning ...

Yep. Too bad that moment was a tad too short for my taste. It was okay and such ... just ... Shepard should have gazed at that picture for more than just three seconds.

Yeah, I realise. I wish she could have appeared on the Citadel after Horizon. Maybe for a brief window. Just for a few lines of dialogue, nothing major. Just something more than a four minute cameo woulda been brilliant. 

edit: I actually don't have time to write a Kaine+Ashley dialogue, but I can give you a quick snippet based on what D3MON said about the cutscenes and how romance's affect 'em.
