My god, why do I read those oxm articles. Sorry Data but they weren't fair, especially when they said Ashley didn't know how to deal with the Genophage, because of her killing Wrex (if Shepard screws up and/or desires her to do so, I feel compelled to add.). I can't stand whoever writes that, but obviously s/he has no desire to be unbiased or professional in the slightest. *sigh*

Sure, I don't know why Magazines simply don't get Ashley's character. I bet those guys just rush-play the game and don't spend time exploring the characters. Ash feels blunt and harsh if you don't romance / don't talk to her ...

Whatever. Their loss is our gain. I've got the feeling BW is well aware about bad rep of Ash & Kaidan - and will give us something others won't have

Yeah, the thing that bothers me is that this is supposedly written by a professional, I don't know, maybe subjectivity is the style of most gaming journalism nowadays, but I can be more professional than that. It's not that they might not like Ash, it's the way the article on one character feels incredibly negative and the other gets praised in such a very obvious manner. And nowhere do they state ''in my opinion'' or something like that. If every site starts doing that the characters will slowly be viewed a little more like has been stated by people using that as main source of information. Well, long rant short, I hate this kind of journalism.

I'm sure they are aware, I don't think they'll really let it effect the writing of the characters though, at least I hope not.

Very funny. Half of those guys are volunteers and the other half get paid by the very same publishers that want perfect meta scores.
I could do better. *shrugs*

No indeed they are not professionals, but I feel they should be.

Anyway, whatever indeed. Back to Ashley..
Question: What do you think Ash thinks of being a Spectre after say a few months? Still proud? Disappointed?And will it change her in any way?

Think Ash will be a tad disappointed if she's not in the same team with Shepard. And some part of me believes she just wants to have an easier job once everything is over.

So she won't be that happy, especially since her loyalty belongs the Alliance.

I think Ash has a way of getting what she wants with Shepard. And I don't mean exploiting their relationship.... though I'm pretty sure they would enjoy that too.

I'd say something similar to Kaidan's reaction in one of my friends headcanon's. Shocked, surprised and immediately weighing all the pro's and con's of having no rules applying to them until the council says so.

Oh, they're aware of it... and I'm sure they'll take it in to account. The way you hope so though... I wouldn't count on that.

Regardless of whether or not you choose to hook up with Ashley in Mass Effect 3, there's one situation she should be kept well away from. The Genophage is a tricky topic, and she didn't handle things all that well with Wrex on Virmire.

Oh of course! B/c someone should never try to protect the one they love or their comrade in arms... they should just look the other way and let them die.

I think after ash and shepard get rid of reapers they should have a talk with those professionals using a cain on them so called professional reporters. How can those reporters be so biased agains a character and label ashley a racist when she is not. But then that is what I xpect from press. Cheap shot bylines to suit people paying them money to write those articles.

At the end of a day, yeah, they want you to read it and have a response. By now, we’re used to ignorance and different opinions, so moving along. It isn’t going to make me like Ash any less, or any other character for that matter.

By the way, have we agreed that Ash is 28, yet? 28, 29... I don't know. Isn't Shepard only like 2 or 3 years older than her?

Shepard is born @ 4/11/2154

Ashley is born @  4/14/2158

Kaidan is born in 2151 (funny, no exact date for him?)

That makes Ashley exactly 4 years younger than Shepard. And they almost have birthday at the same date.

If I know Aurora a bit, she talked about:

Ashley wants everything with and from Shepard. Full experience, share their lives, have a great time, enjoying romantic stuff as well as "hot lovemaking" and founding a family one day.

Who's the youngest on the Normandy this time round then? In ME1 it was Tali, I think. In ME2 it was Grunt. And in ME3, it is Vega? Or hell it could be Tali again.
