The best thing I can imagine is something like that:

Ashley: Shhh ... John, everything is okay. I'm here.
Shepard: ... thanks ...
Ashley: For what? Had another nightmare?
Shepard: Yeah. And "thanks" for being here ...
Ashley: Talk to me, Skip. You have those nightmares since I moved into your cabin, every single night ...
Shepard: Have them since I came back from the dead. Ash ... I don't know why I can't find peace in my dreams anymore. It's ... I can't even tell you what I'm dreaming. All I remember is pain ...
Ashley: I'm not sure if I can help you, but I'll try everything to end those nightmares.
Shepard: Does it help if I say those nightmares feel less painful since you're sharing the bed with me?

I have a question, do you reckon Ashley being seriously injured at one point would mean that subsequently she would be left with a lot of permenant scars? Because I remember when Garrus had the scripted injury in Mass Effect 2 he was left with his face in a cast for the rest of the game, so one could assume this would mean the same could apply to Ashley/Kaidan as well.

That wouldn't be a bad thing... I wouldn't think. Or at least they could twist it into something sappy for the romance. 

Something like:

Ash walks out of the medbay and her hair is down and covering part of her face like it does in some of those screenshots. And Shepard has the uber happy face on and then asks if she's ok. Ash responds a little disheartened and sort tries to hide her face when he goes to brush her hair back and kiss her. Then you get the whole... I wouldn't be surprised if you left me kinda deal. Then you get the sappiness of the I love you no matter how you look kinda thing and he brushes her hair back and puts it up (we get the messy bun back! ) .... ahhh, sappy. I love it. lmao 

Then again... idk, not sure if Ash would act like that from some bad scaring.

Okay, the last few pages of this thread gave me a nice long train of thought.
Religion: The subject has the potential to go very bad considering how many haters there are on the extremes of both sides of the fence, but I don't think it should be avoided completely because it's kind of an important character aspect. I don't think that people should try to force their beliefs on others, but I don't think a simple exchange of information counts as "forcing one's beliefs on someone else" (I've lost count of how many times I've gotten into debates about this kind of stuff and the other person was like "DON'T TRY TO FORCE YOUR BELIEFS ON ME!!!" and I was like "Dude, I'm not asking you to agree with me, I'm simply trying to explain where my opinions come from." And I definitely don't think people should hate on things just because they don't understand them. Long story short, it's relevant to Ashley because it's part of her character.
Nicknames: In my headcanon, my main BroShep (Martin, named after the same literary character as my username) calls Ash his lioness.
Lullabies: I never really pictured Ashley having that great of a singing voice, but I'm sure she has other ways to comfort Shepard than just by singing him to sleep.
Dialogues: Awesome.
Screenshots: Very nice.
Battle scars: I can definitely see Martin Shepard being that sappy with Ashley. I mean, he pulled all the cheesy pick-up lines on her in ME1 (but hey, it worked.)

it was a no-brainer, i mean....
ashley: bad squad leader, just another soldier, (also: racist. female heavy gunner? eeww..)
kaidan: biotic, technician, bomb expert, co-pilot, soldier, (also: cool dude, interesting past)

@ Captin Carter what comment for aurora was uneccessary . I know she is an excellent writer and would be good to write for bioware, but since she is not canadian she would need a work visa to work for bioware in canada. I like aurorar dialogues they are awsome.

However, i would love it of shep said something about how he hot her message while speaking in a tender voice and she could basically jump on him and be so happy he's okay
