Lt. Commander Ashley Williams thread: "Don't 'Ash' me!" We're Back Baby!

Anyway, back to Ashley.
Ashley: God, I'm bored.
Shepard: You're bored? We just liberated Arcturus... and you're bored?
Ashley: Yeah. What are we doing tomorrow?
Shepard: Well... I... wouldn't mind a nice, quiet dinner for the two of us. Maybe some liberty for the crew. I think they deserve a few drinks, don't you?
Ashley: Dinner sounds delicious. What about dessert?
Shepard: Uh - sure, if there is any to spare.
Ashley: That wasn't the kind of 'dessert' I had in mind Skipper.
Shepard: Oh, in the case. *clears throat* see you at 2200?
Ashley: See you then Skipper. *kisses him softly and walks away*
Shepard: ... *watching her go, shakes his head with a smirk* I love that woman.

I personally am a fan of the updated look.
They've kept the same scan of the face from 7 years ago. The artist said so recently in an interview (if someone has that link....) And he said they only tweaked a little makeup and put her hair down really. But you also have to understand that graphically things have improved in the industry in 7 years so she's going to look a little different. That's just a given. But they didn't change her facial structure or anything.

Her hair was never one of my issues. I love her bun, but also love her hair down (although I think she should let it down for "private sessions"- you know what I mean)Badpie wrote...
I think generally speaking most people are good with her new look. It was touch and go for a little while but the more we learn the more comfortable I think most people are with it. Her having actual armor was a big part of it as some people were concerned her casual outfit would be her "armor." The vote is split on the hair as a lot of people really wanted to see her hair down and still others are very attached to her bun. Many think she looks good either way.
My main issue was also not concerning her armor vs "diplomatic outfit". The later one looked as if it comes at least with some shielding. However, the white pants of said outfit were a real issue to me - I'm glad they're gone. Seriously, women out there, does a woman wear white pants with an outfit that's composed of dark blue, blue and black parts?
And that's the real surprise here. I thought they redid her face entirely, especially her nose-bridge seemed to be changed. However, guess it was just an outdated, non-optimized texture plus weird facial expression that gave me that idea.I personally am a fan of the updated look.

This screenshot shows Ashley is still Ashley. And I'm glad they used Ashley's old scan. Which is somehow really cute and kinda nostalgic, right?

Shepard: You must be joking.
Ashley: I am not.
Shepard: For the love of god, who is it this time? Biotics, again? Or some political activists?
Ashley: Take a gander.
Shepard: *looks at datapad* You're kidding....
Ashley: Nope.
Shepard: 'Cylons'? Is this some kind of birthday prank, Ash. 'cause, I ain't laughing.
Ashley: 'Cyborgs', Jonathan. Cyborgs.
Shepard: Says 'Cylon' here.
Ashley: It does not!
Shepard: My hand to your god, it does. Look! *shows her*
Ashley: Huh... must be a typo.
Shepard: I hope so! Already saved the verse from one race of machines! Don't need or want save the verse from fantasy machines too.
Ashley: Yeah, I'll bet.
Shepard: Though I wouldn't mind if Six came to life, because Tricia Helifer is pretty hot.
Ashley: Jonathan, do you desire to keep the contents of your pants where they are?
Shepard: *stumbling over words* w-well, She is very attractive, but you have a godly beauty.
Ashley: And I have a shotgun.
Shepard: Yes that too. Which you are admirable at using.
Ashley: Good, now mention my hair.
Shepard: Stunning.
Ashley: Good, Ive trained you well.
Joker: *over speaker* whipped him is more like it.
Shepard: Joker! Stop listening in!
Ashley: Next time you do it, I'm pouring hot coffee down your lap.
Shepard: I'd pay to see that.
Joker: God, you're both hard asses.

Nice one ... ^^
Shepard: Did I ever mention you're beautiful? Godly beautiful?
Ashley: No, but you could do it more often.
Shepard: *smirks* Guess so. You women are all the same: you need your daily compliment or you'll start to lash out against the one loving you most.
Ashley: So? That's your image of "us women"?
Shepard: Experience, Ash, experience.
Ashley: Mind to tell me, Skip?
Shepard: Some of those memories are quite painful.
Ashley: You better tell me. I'm not like "those" women. And you should know that.
Shepard: Yeah, figured that out. You're neither shallow nor in looks only. And you feel perfect to me. Like a best friend and lover at the same time.
Ashley: *smiles* Keep it that way and I'll forget what you said about your "experiences".
Shepard: I can tell you, one day. But not now.
Ashley: Maybe I don't want to know about them then? Keep your secrets, John. I'm not like "those women" in your past, not that curious. So. And since you know that, don't bother about "those women" ever again. You've got me, your "godly beauty".
Shepard: *smirks* You love that line?
Ashley: Nope, Skip. Words don't mean anything, doings do. *sexy smile*
Shepard: A cheesy line - by you?
Ashley: He doesn't get it ... oh man, Skipper .. do I really have to pull the "Oh Captain, my Captain" line again so you get the hint?
Shepard: Yes! *smirks*
Ashley: Make me!
Shepard: Come over to me. *playful*
Ashley: You better move your ass to me! *sexy tone*
Shepard: And I gave you an order, Commander *even more playful*
Ashley: Is it so? I refuse that one, SIR *husky*
Shepard: *comes closer to Ashley* ... mind to kiss your Captain now?
Ashley: Ehhhh ... shut up, Skipper.
*passionate kissing*

Lol. Cute. Though I'm curious what the 'other experiences' are alluding too.
That's up to you. And your Shepard -has- experiences in that field. Mine ... hmm ... guess so too. I just don't need to go deeper into that. Ashley is his only love now and he won't leave her as long as he lives.
Think I wrote down some stuff of Ashley's history ...
