Ashley: Staff Lieutenant? May I speak to you for a minute ma'am?
Pierce: Sure. Chief...?
Ashley: Williams ma'am. Ashley Williams.
Pierce: Pleasure. I'm Staff Lieuie Pierce. What can I do you for?
Ashley: I have some questions Ma'am, about the Commander.
Pierce: You came to the right gal, then. I probably know him better than anyone in the 'verse.
Ashley: Just, what kind of man is he?
Pierce: The best of the best.
Ashley: I... was hoping for a more detailed exposition.
Pierce: Such as?
Ashley: What kind of man is he on a more personal level. Not what his files say.
Pierce: Hehe.
Ashley: Ma'am.
Pierce: Nothing, just reminded me of my foster father for a second. John is a good man. Stoic, stubborn, and a good leader. He's a good guy, very intellectual, but unfortunately, he has a hard time reaching out to others on emotional or personal levels.
Ashley: Did something happen to him, ma'am?
Pierce: He went through a bad phase especially after what happened on Elysium.
Ashley: But Elysium was a victory. The Commander held the line again hundreds of batarian pirates.
Pierce: Yeah, everyone keeps painting him as a hero, they forgot that John's still just a man. If he were a closed man before, Elysium's aftermath shut him down completely.
Ashley: Is that why he's so driven to complete missions?
Pierce: You can count the amount of people he trusts with less than one hand. All the man has left is his career.
Ashley: What exactly did he lose on Elysium?
Pierce: ...
Ashley: Ma'am. If it's not improper to ask, ma'am.
Pierce: That's probably something I shouldn't say. In fact, I think I make have already said a way too much as it is. If you really want to know what happened so badly, why not just go ask the man yourself?
Ashley: Because it's not proper for me to ask someone I just met about something so personal. And it's not that I want to knoe that badly. I'm just...
Pierce: Curious? Yes. If you want my suggestion? Get to know the man for yourself. Learn how he ticks. And when you do that, who knows, maybe he'll tell you one day.
Ashley: He doesn't seem that hard to talk to, so I'll try but  - as you said ma'am, he doesn't seem to be much for off-duty banter.
Pierce: He's really just a big kid inside. Don't worry, he's the kind of guy you love or hate. And it's so much easier to love the guy.
Ashley: And if I may say off the record?
Pierce: Ya-huh.
Ashley: He's pretty easy on the eyes too.
Pierce: Hell to the yes.

Watched a demo video... And... God. I missed that badass frown. I liked her little frown and narrowed eyes better than her smile tbh. There's some more lines in the script so I think there will be a little something extra if you romanced her. I hope so anyway.

Eh... I think you'll have to wait until the 14th like the rest of us. Some people did manage to cheat their way into getting a demo code. For that, you need to be playing on the 360, make a fake e-mail account and scam wal-mart, I think.

It was cute. Too bad we won't know if there's a difference in unromanced and romanced until March 6th... Or March 9th for me...

Maybe, but it's just the first minute of Ash time! We will get all the romantic stuff, just a little later, afterall they weren't really together anymore after what happened in ME2. I'm kinda glad we don't get to see any of the romantic stuff yet, because that's for my imports and the full experience!

Now, time to look at that demo vid...

I probably don't get your characters as good as Data does though. I'm just used to my own Sheppy.

Was away for exercising, daily errands and such - and I love your "introduction of Ashley -> Shepard via Rox ^^. May I expand it a little bit? Maybe post Therum or so ... ^^
