Ashley is now a Spectre, it is not anymore the common soldier we encountered on Eden Prime. She is a spectre, and it is important to print this, as much by appearance as the evolution of thought. This armor it sticks to the soldier at the beginning.

I am ready to accept that Bioware gives us an option to have it for fun, but it shouldn't be the new heavy armor. In any case for me, as well.

@Richard: I am hoping something that will be unique to Ash. I don't want something like Shep's armor because it is Shep's armor. Although I would love to see a variation of the Pheonix armor when ME3 comes out but we will probably have to wait for an appearance pack.

Exactly. To clarify, I wasn't talking about giving her armour like FemShep in ME2, but rather a 'tweaked' version of the Phoenix suit, in the same way that the Onyx armour got modified and had more detail added to make it the 'N7 armour' in ME2.

Considering that Alliance troopers are seen in more traditional armour suits in ME3 (as opposed to the Cerberus troops and James Vega, who are wearing all-new rigs), it wouldn't be a massive stretch to have it in the game - and it'd help provide an extra degree of visual continuity between the games. One of my minor gripes of ME3 thus far is that the visual style of things like Garrus' new armor is markedly different from the styles found in ME/ME2 - it'd be nice to see some of the classic stuff still in use, even if only by NPCs.

i probley will be flayed alive when i say this,but i really dont like the pheonix armor.i dress ash and my team in dark colors.the pink and white dosent do anything for me at all...like my homie silverrose says it makes her look like the pink power ranger.

i like her in Onyx armor the best.

I can understand why people would say that, the pink is alright but I more or less like the ME2 version of the Pheonix armor. The Onyx armor is also nice though along with the Titan and Scorpion armors.  
 Though really as long as she has some nice, practical armor that fits in all the right places im happy

Exactly my thoughts, Whatever BioWare decides whether it be a new version of Pheonix, or something totally different im sure it will go with Ash and her new role as a Spectre.

i bought the CE because i had hoped bioware would give ash something like this.

while i dont mind the CE outfit we have recently seen,in the end its just a pheonix re-color.


but in regards to the CE alt; i do like that they decided to try and impress us by giving her thigh high boots.

That top pic looks amazing, and part of me wouldnt be surprised if Ash had some sort of armor like that.

Ah but we all know Ash cant have a good defense without her offensive weapons, So we know Ash likes blasting bad guys with her boomstick or ripping people apart with the assault rife, but what about the other weapons like Sniper rifes and pistols?

What Sniper Rife and Pistol do you think fits Ashley charater better?   I personally think the Phalanx and Viper would be right up her alley

Widow,Revanent,and Krogan shotgun are the only acceptable weapons for ash's arsenal imo.

unless we can give her spectre specific gear again.

Yeah almost the same. I find it so inappropriate when I saw her with the rifle avenger during the demo. Much too light for her. :innocent:

Love the bun   Not such a big fan of this armor though...  It's just so bulky, I don't want Ash's curves to drown in her armor I guess..  Deelane did a good job with this though and otherwise.. I like it.

@sylvianus well it was the first demo,it wouldnt be right for ash to be shooting the CAIN from the normandys hanger bay and showing up all the other squadmates so early.

TBH im really excited to know what kindve powers shes going to have.if immunity makes a comeback it will feel like classic ME1 gameplay all over again.Me ash and garrus runing around kicking ass and useing words like inveigle and pusillanimous.

I agree totally.  An heavy armor, must protect, but in the same time must be pratical and adapted to the body. Like that for example.

Yes do not worry, I understand. Just the first thing I will do,  is put a Revanent in the Ashley's hands once on the Normandy. :happy:

spectre specific armor for ash FTW!!! or alliance to; hell i think i might throw my vote in for shepard being able to wear alliance armor aswell.

need to start showing my loyalty,get that bad ceberus taste out my mouth.

I share that hope. It would be very cool. My concern with everything that was said about armor, is that Bioware is wrong, and dresses Ashley with an inappropriate heavy armor like Vega.

A kind of box that wouldn't be crafted for her and not pratical at all.

Soldier = pratical, adaptable, protected.

Vasir's armor on Ash would be absolutely perfect! Keep the jumpsuit, but only for the Normandy.

Also, this is the first time I've ever seen a picture of James Vega up-close and I only have one thing to say: WTF random faux hawk, ftw! XD

lol. I can't think, that as a soldier, he will be truly effective in this box at any distance.
Finally, I trust Bioware to understand what must be a real heavy armor, as it was in the first two episode or with Vazir.

What do you guys/gals think of something like this?



I did my best to mesh the armor from the pics; sylvianus & ashlovermark posted, along with one of Tela Vasir.
(couldn't get the color of the body to match the shoulders exactly though) 

If anyone likes the direction I was going for, and has more talent with PhotoShop, perhaps they can tweak it a bit to make it look better.
