The only thing bugging me about her look now? The one in the demo, there's too much blue. I love the colour, but I preferred the white pants just to break the overload of colour up. Then again, I'm gonna be using her CE look. So it doesn't really phase me that much anymore

The CE colours are more her look.

edit: Cossack raises a good point. I wonder if Ash's CE look extends to her armor too. Would love to see her in her current armor with phoenix colours

Why is it, that when I look at Shepard and Ashley now, I'm reminded of Motoko Kusanagi and Batou from Ghost in the Shell... I don't know why. I'm watching the CG, and for some reason, those two pop in my head. I have no freaking idea why.

I thought the whole trailer was underwhelming. Just nothing but quick-cut action scenes, and showcasing the typical humans vs. aliens trope. Basically, it looks like Halo. In fact, BioWare can learn something by looking at Bungie's Halo trailers. They're much better than what we have right now.

Humanity is the big target, thanks in no small part to Shepard. They are the Reaper's next goal to assimilate. And in the end, that's what it all boils down to. Stands to reason that they be the only ones present in the trailer.

Still doesn't make up for the fact that the human vs. alien trope is still there, and it's such a cliche in modern gaming. It would have been refreshing to see the other alien species fight alongside the humans for the survival of the galaxy, instead of seeing just humans.

Aurora's right. a Human killed the Repaer Vanguard. he Collectors were building a Human Reaper and human made the Repaers plans get pushed back a few months by blowing up the oldest Mass relay. Plus they're tkaing back the human homeworld so it does make sense that humans are being shown in the "take back earth" trailer. if it was "take back Palaven" you'd see turians and so on for the other races.

... so? Most of the time it's humans vs Aliens anyway? Either policitally, in battle or just otherwise. It's always been like that. (I'm referring to the Mercs and everything you fight, not from a Cerberus-esque point of view). The first villain you face is a turian controlling an army of Geth and assortment of Asari Commandos. Second one is a insect-like race and Shepard is on the warpath for revenge after getting killed the first time.

Please explain when is it not an 'Alien vs Human' cliche...

or not, cause it's not really Ashley conversational material, but still. It's always been that trope.

I'm not asking for every alien race to have a seperate trailer. I would like to see a trailer where it showcases that this fight is not exclusive to any one race. This is a fight for the galaxy. A fight to ensure the survival of galactic civilization. A fight where every sapient being, whether they are human, turian, asari, salarian, or quarian band together under one banner to win against a threat beyond anything they could ever imagine.

Screw it! I wanna see him go all Optimus Prime on that b!tch! (Knife through the face). And look at him weilding the rifle with one hand.... *swoon* Hope we get to see a Mr+Mrs Smith-esque scene with Ashley and Shepard back to back.
