Still doesn't make up for the fact that the human vs. alien trope is still there, and it's such a cliche in modern gaming. It would have been refreshing to see the other alien species fight alongside the humans for the survival of the galaxy, instead of seeing just humans.

While the cliche isn't bad in of itself, it would been nice to show that in the third game it's not just a human's fight for survival. Even in the first two games, Shepard had a sqaud of aliens on his side. It wasn't just Shepard along with human soldiers.

Shoulda phrased that differently. Perhhaps what I should have said is the non-terrans are too busy trying to save their own home worlds, and they simply can't afford the credits or soldiers to fund the counter-offensive on earth.

Seeing how the whole premise of the game is Shepard trying to convince other aliens to fight for the human homeworld, I don't see what's the problem with them fighting alongside Shepard ground side. Plus, Shepard is saving their homeworlds, and solving thier issues so that he can recruit them to save Earth.

Wow, it's getting to be really good to be an Ashley fan. She's back in Mass Effect 3 as a full squad mate, romanceable, still the same character as before, been given awesome armor, her voice actress recorded the Horizon letter for the sake of the fans, Play Arts made a protoype action figure modelled off of her and now she's in this really well done trailer.
Just think, not too long ago we were all wondering if she would even return AT ALL. I sometimes wonder if Bioware are doing all of this as some kind of repentance gambit for all the time she was removed from the game, it's doubtful but stuff like this certainly helps make me as a VS fan finally feel relevant to the franchise again.

What I love is that these are two adults ... Ash is designed to look like a woman and not a young girl and that is sexy to me. She looks like she is experienced, mature and can kick butt. And still loving her hair down!

Oh, and my salarian friend was offended that he was not represented in the commercial.
