The faces are identical. Though I think they made her actual textures higher res and added some lip gloss. 

 

needs a repost. 

I know, but I'm talking to someone who thinks they changed her nose.

welp, that should solve your nose problem. 

Really, the only difference is some redone textures, the way she's animated (the eyes and mouth mostly), and her hair.

They'll probably release the directors cut of the Trailer after that

I can't wait for the extended cuts, I have to say the CGI of ashley looks very different from in game ashley

And then the Final Cut after that.

Then the special editions, where they secret change things. Like adding Conrad in the background.

Well...I don't know. If I could look into the future I'd tell you, although in that case I should probably be looking at more important things.

Worst case scenario: we'll see the same amount of Ash and Shep being awesome.
Best case scenario: MOAR!

Am I the only one who thinks the CGI version looked nothing like her? Not trying to be negative, I just don't see the resemblance apart from the armor and brown hair.

Everybody had a tan in ME1.

After the reapers, my Shepard plans on taking Ashley somewhere tropical to work on DAT TAN again.

Regarding ME3's slight change of look I don't think its really become any less latina or barely, if you find other pics of Ash from ME1 depending on the lighting she looks just like ME3 Ash. Take the pics above, one is bright lighting (ME3 pic) making her look pastier while the ME1 pic has a darker lighting going on inside the Normandy.

Take these pics for instance (ME1, ME2, ME3):

On another note when I first played ME1 all those years ago it  never crossed my mind Ashley had some latina in her, it was only when I  started reading posts on various forums, etc that I noticed people saying she was. I can now see what everybody means and agree.

This is odd to me, since it never looked like a tan to me, I always thought it was her skin-tone, it's an hispanic/latina skin-tone after all. Not a big deal or anything, it's something I'll need to get used to though.

And, you asked! I didn't mention it in the first place! Lol, don't blame me.

I think CGI Sheploo looks different also. I think it's just the CGI that makes the differences.
