People are comparing the CGI Ash with the ME3 Ash. I'm saying I prefer the old Ash, that wasn't wearing a rubber suit. ME3 Ashley does have some real nice armor though....

Regarding ME3's slight change of look I don't think its really become any less latina or barely, if you find other pics of Ash from ME1 depending on the lighting she looks just like ME3 Ash. Take the pics above, one is bright lighting (ME3 pic) making her look pastier while the ME1 pic has a darker lighting going on inside the Normandy.

On another note when I first played ME1 all those years ago it  never crossed my mind Ashley had some latina in her, it was only when I  started reading posts on various forums, etc that I noticed people saying she was. I can now see what everybody means and agree.

Funny. I saw her as Latina from day one when I romanced her the first time. Maybe because of that combination of eyes and brows? Also her hairstyle reminds me of a woman with hints of hispanic influence.


I really love this woman. She matured a lot within those 3 years in-Universe ... and she's one of the most beautiful natural-looking woman in game history.

I always thought of Ash as white, with a sexy tan. Now, in ME3, that sexy tan has wore off.

Or maybe ME1 was just dark.

The cgi trailer has different models, higher resolution everything then that of the game. I think just by the nature of things the characters are going to look slightly different. To me, she looks the same, just better quality of things and her hair is down.

Also, I have never though that she is Latina. I know the model that they fashioned her face after (read: scanned in) was probably a different ethnicity then just American or more specifically white American but the actual character doesn't strike me as Latina.

Yea I think Mass Effect 1 was dark, but I'm pretty sure she's white, but I could be wrong

She looked like to me to be a Caucasian-Latino Mix (We have alot of people who are 50% each way here in South Florida)
Plus Mass Effect has gone on and on about how there alot of blending of cultures which reinforces my theroy.

Well technically .. VS survivors should count as one .. just depends on who you are .. guys being male Sheps romancing Ash .. Girls being female Sheps romancing Kaidan .. or one of those geeks playing it the other way around .. well you know this board is full of them .. I'm not judging anyone, it does makes entirely new ME experience I guess .. but it's just not my style

I'm more surprised that "Tin can" lovers are not on the top .. guess it's only a matter of time ..

All I hope for is Bio giving me the best game of the trilogy .. Pools should not change the game itself for a purpose of crazy fans -- like they did in ME2.

Just keep it cool and epic for everyone .. and well .. super epic for VS survivors .. there should be justice .. after all we got the shortest stick in ME2.
