Bioware is famous at not giving to many details about the storyline so to get the answer everyone will just have to wait and play.

What I wanna know is if we can use her 'casual' outfit for combat as well.
I'm thinking yes because if you notice on the back of her outfit, it has those slots to hold her weapons. She also has an alternate color for the same outfit from the CE. It'd be really lame if the only time she wore it is on the Normandy.

What do you guys think? I can't be the only one that wants to use her light outfit more.

yap, it is inevitable. I really like tali, but she just doesn't work as good with shepard as ashley. It's not even close.

Looking back at the new CGI trailer, I couldn't help but notice that the trailer in many way seemed to have resembled the Halo Wars trailers.

Its probably cause Digic Pictures who did the Halo Wars cg trailer also did this cg trailer. There are two big cg companies who seem to do fancy cg game trailer for people, Digic Pictures & Blur Studio. Digic Pictures also did the ME3 cg teaser trailer (one set in the UK) last year for Bioware, they also did a Dragon Age 2 trailer, & Assassin Creed trailers amoungst others. Funnily enough Blur Studios have also done cg trailers for Bioware including the ME2 cg trailer & all The Old Republic cg trailers amoungst a whole bunch of other trailers for other game companies.

I'm wondering why she's wearing this spectre armor all the time. Or better - why BioWare shows her in it. I mean, until now that was obvious that Alliance comes first for her - "I'm alliance soldier, It's in my blood". As Shepard you don't have to wear any spectre stuff, hell, there wasn't even any to wear. What's more, during work with Cerberus you could happily run with your N7 logo on chest.

I know that she has those stripes on shoulder, similar to Shepard's, but still... that's strange.

In both my Femshep walkthrough's I always send Ashley with the STG squads, I'm sure Ashley and Kirrahe will be happy to see each other in ME3, Its been two year's since they worked with each other and I think a reunion is in order, in fact the VS/Kirrahe reunion is one of the many things I'm looking foward to in ME3

Simple, she feels like blue accents her facial features more

Maybe she thought that she deserved new armor cause she worked really hard to get to where she's at and what better way to express your acomplishments than getting something that demands attention and respect oh and give you a better chance of surviving.

Yes, I love sending her with the STG. I think she'd respect their tactics and skill in combat especially since they're considered "squishy"

I send Ash with the STG (cause I'm doing that for Duet Effect too) because if I do all the extra stuff on Virmire before getting to the facility, I can save half a dozen people not including her.

Pretty much this. Okay, it was my second Shepard - but my first full playthrough - so it's considered as "canon".
Do you really want to read the story how my Shepard fell for Ash?

Lets say in his current state, Ash is his primary reason why he's still fighting. My Shep wants to redeem himself in her eyes, at least want her to show that he had to do the job for Cerberus. And of course he wants to kick the Reapers in their shiny butt.
Also Ash keeps him sane. No one goes through hell two times, dying once and returning from the dead with at least some issues. Shepard remains true to himself because he has Ashley.

I wonder if the VS will be around or an option to go on that mission. I hope so, of course.
Dunno if they can remember Kirrahe - I do. And I hope he'll make it through ME3.

I still need to do a Kaidan-playthrough - he deserves one!

@Obvahki; I'm pretty sure you can use it in combat yes. I'll definitly choose the CE colour shceme over the standard one, it has more of that ''like old times'' vibe.

@Data; My Shep loves Ash, but he doesn't depend on her for his sanity. I'm pretty sure he'll be an emtional wreck after the war whatever the outcome. He needs friends around him yes, but not his loved one persé. He's becoming more numb though and will have an insurmountable amount of emotional baggage after the Reaper war, but I think he'll remain sane, even if Ashley dies.

He'll never get oves such a thing,.but will hide it away whenever he can. And during the war there is too much going on for him to allow himself any private time for thought. The more people die the more determent he gets, the more he sacrifices his personal life, except for a few rare moments perhaps.

Highly depends on your RPing. My Shep will break at some point and he needs Ash to be there for him. If she dies, he'll lose his grip. He won't break entirely, but definitely will cut any emotions left in him to continue his job. And once Shepard is there, at the end of all things, it doesn't no matter to him if he lives or dies. He just wants to end the Reapers.

If Ashley is still alive, Shepard definitely wants to come back to her. He -loves- to live because of her and can bear any sh*t the galaxy is throwing at him.

So to speak.
Of course, that's just my RPing :innocent:
