"Bet you're wishing you stayed faithful now, aren't ya?"
Such sass. Luckily John Gimpshep Shepard never waivered

Megabad grow up. You're complaining about things that won't be in your particular games that's a waste of energy on your part. Plus it was a DEMO. It was limited to being a fresh start Shepard, no choices made, no romance, to show off a taste of ME3.
Careful now. Wouldn't want this thread to get locked. And why do you think I said overall character? I'm not sure... Is Ashley and Kaidan still merged into one? Oh, yeah...

They're not. V-Rex said pretty much all that needs to be said, they're in teh same situation (hell every Shepard is as well) but they're each their own different person. Their outfits are different their personalities are different, etc. They are Ashley Williams and Kaidan Alenko. Not Ashley Alenko, or Kaidan Williams. (unless that's what your VS maning Shepard ecides to name their children for the the perso that died on Virmire which is awesome.)MegaBadExample wrote...

It's not very classy is it? But then again, it's not really anything new...V-rex wrote...

Also as a side note:
Dear God is that seriously what FemShep's ass looks like? What does she inflate it with a bicycle pump? How does someone so small and skinny have such a huge posterior, does all the food she eats just gravitate to that spot?
I'm not outraged but I find it hilariously disproportionate. Also as a side note to the side note, still not loving how Ashley's butt looks in her outfit but at least it has less of the 'hey check me right the f*ck out' vibe of the original white pants. So eh, good enough.

Do you mean the rumour she might be bisexual? If not, you don't have to say what it is, I don't want to be spoiled any more than I am, not so close to release.MegaBadExample wrote...
Yeah, well Miranda pretty much got the boot too. She's not even considered a "true love" apparently. I’ll be able to get my CE on the 1st of March, so we'll see how it goes. If Bioware screw up Ashley, guess I'll just have to remember her the way she was in ME1. There's been some character destroying rumours flying around lately. Can’t say I'm happy about some of the things I've been hearing. But the game has gone gold soo……. WHATCHA GONA DOOOOO?
*Except complain and spread spoilers on March first*
What do you mean? PM if spoilery ^^MegaBadExample wrote...

Indeed, and I'm sure you can comment on it when your femshep, something along the lines of "I never thought you were interested in me.", besides plenty of ways to explain her being bisexual without having to rewrite her character IMO.CptData wrote...
@ Brain: yeah, if MBE is talking about bi!sex Ash ... that's old news. And technically, it doesn't destroy her character since m!Sheps won't see bi!Ash. It's not that he has to steal her from Samantha or Diana ... she'll be straight for m!Sheps and lesbian for f!Sheps. I'm totally fine with that.
Congrats on getting it early, but peae don't say anything in the thread until the 6th.MegaBadExample wrote...

Is this one of those things that she is a lesbian for femshep and for maleshep she is straight.CptData wrote...

That's actually one of the easiest jobs.
Why doesn't a man / woman don't admit if s/he is homosexual? Keep in mind Ashley tried to restore her family's name. Would it help to out herself? I doubt so. Also we know she's quite conservative - even if the society doesn't have any issues with homosexuals anymore, she still could feel bad about it - and therefore never told Shepard in ME1.
Works good enough to me. Hope it gets addressed
Whats OOC?, I get what you're saying.CptData wrote...

Some guys think it's OOC for Ashley since she wasn't available in ME1 as lesbian romance for fem!Shep.
In that case it's also OOC for Tali to develop feelings for Shepard since she was no romance in ME1 ^^

Exactly, that's the explanation that's on my mind! Other than that she might have not felt a whole lot for FemShepard before, feelings can grow over time..or sometimes people become more sexually driven (I mean in a need for love way), even if it doesn't get mentioned in the game, which would be less than ideal, there are plenty of options to think of yourself.CptData wrote...

OOC = Out Of Character. In short: a character suddenly behaves entirely different than you would expect.
Liara seems to act "OOC" in ME2. She's too cold and too calculating compared against the Liara in ME1. BW calls it "maturing" ... and I accept it for now. Still the development is quite abrupt which causes the feeling of "OOCiness"
Ash for example would act OOC if she starts telling everyone she's supporting Terra Firma and want to be member of that party. Or she suddenly acts entirely emotional towards strangers - we're used to her as tough, brutally honest soldier, not Miss Girly-Girl
Yeah i get what you're saying, it would have been better if it was a new character.CptData wrote...

I could type down the theory of multiple universes if you really need that. That also explains why Ash is straight in one and gay in another universe. However, we're also dealing with the issue why Ash never told fem!Shep about feelings in ME1. ^^
